Iiz sighed as he laid in one of the very few still standing and structurally sound towers that litter the ruins silhouette. His tail casually drifted back and forth as he watched random critters running through the now over taken buildings. He let out a sigh as he looked up to the cloud ridden sky...looked like a storm was forming. Iiz yawned slightly and stood up before he thought aloud " Well...time to hunt I suppose. " He did not sound as if he was particularly happy that he was going to have to hunt with an impending storm on the way. But with his belly empty and how he saw hat the critters were out he thought it would be for the best that he eats now and not get caught in the storm, starving. He jumped off the edge and extends his large wings out, he sailed for a few feet before intentionally landing on top of a smaller building. It groaned under his weight and one of the walls collapsed. Then a smell hit his nose...blood, a kill. He narrowed eyes and jumped down to the ground as the building came toppling down behind him...he sighed knowing he just scared away what ever food was around. " Best just see where this smell is coming from " he though to himself. He began to snake his way though the crumbling building as best he could without making much noise...which was credit to his name.

Graal drags the elk down by the throat, relishing this bloody end to the long day of tedious stalking as he crunches down, breaking it's soft windpipe. With a wheezing choke, the animal thrashes, trying to escape its inevitable death with breathless strangled noises.
As the animal slows, Graal begins to eat, delecting in the musky scent of the animal's life, draining slowly down his throat. Once he is sated, the animal's entrails splattered across the virgin snow, broken ribs splintered beside him, mere chew toys now, the delicious marrow long being gnawed out.
The scent of a lizard approaches, and he looks up, glazed eyes barely registering the smell, but something in the back of his mind screams. "Too big!"

Iiz comes around the corner to see the dead elk, then the small wolf beside it. He cocks his head to one side and slowly approaches, he thinks of what language the wolf might speak before saying " So this is where the smell is coming from. " His voice is low and cold like the ground under him, he looks to the dead elk " Are you going to continue eating this grohiik? "He moves closer to the dead Elk as he looks it over to see if there is anything left for him.

(( Hey Bit, I agree with you. Olden is a bunch of idiots, I try to add to their diversity, after tieflings, werewolves, elves, dragons and Demi-gods, and a Graal expy is denied because apparently, werewolves have no genitals, and therefor, Graal can't have extremely diluted Lycan blood, so he can't talk or think consciously. Honestly, why did I think that they would ever change? ))
Graal snaps awake, his gorged belly now feeling uncomfortable, weighty. "That smell... A lizard? Too big... Could it be a Basilisk? Lady Windwalker used to talk of them, how I shouldn't look into their eyes!" A rustle is heard nearby, and Graal slams his eyes tight, ears and nose surveying the land around him for an escape. A tree branch snaps. "It's so big..." he thinks, body filling with dread, then anger, then indignity. "So this is where the smell is coming from." This was it, his time to live or die, one last chance. His chest was itching, the leafy cast that Thunder had applied days earlier was flaking, dry and thinning. He opens his eyes, rage bubbling in his voice as he howls. "Frösta ta-!" His eyes lock with the dragon's, rage replaced with confusion. "This is no Basilisk! By Tor, what IS it!?" His mind races, trying to link the creature before him with tales from his Gran, from Lady Windwalker, but nothing came to mind, total mental lockdown.
His ears flick, and he nervously answers the giant reptile, "N-n-nort, ah es fin!" he mutters, already backing away.

Iiz cocks his head as if wondering what is wrong with the wolf. He approaches the dead elk and looks it over before looking to Graal again " Is something wrong grohiik? " Iiz kept his eyes on him as he sat down and began to pick bits of meat that still remained on the elk as best he could with his claws. Thought it awkward to say the least to watch him try and fail to pick at it, he sighed and looked back up to Graal " Are you going to eat any more of this? " His neck remained craned over the elk as he waited for a reply from the scarred wolf in front of him.
[[ Yep thats olden for you, if you do not have much to contribute they will not give you anything at all even a simple wolf character. ]]

"I was, but I guess not anymore." Midnight said with a touch of sass. She walked up fearlessly to the dragon, right under it and ripped off what meat was left and gnawed on it. She wasn't exactly mad at the creature, just agitated how it seemed to affect Graal. She thought he had seen everything good bad and ugly. 'Guess not…' she thought despondently. Midnight remembered wolves talking about dragons before, and even some that actually were friends with them, but she had never seen one before.

[[ Olden is a rp community on gmod known for dying...then getting back up...then dying...then getting back up and do that a couple more times and you got olden. ]]
Iiz moved a back a little from the carcass knowing that it was not his anymore, he turned his once craning neck to the sky as the first few flakes of snow began to fall. His tail rested behind himself, it swished from time to time, bumping the moss and vines that covered the ruins. He looked back to Midnight " May I ask for you name? " For being a dragon he seems really polite and punctual...well as punctual as a dragon could be in some situations. " And if I may ask to who is your friend? " Iiz lifted a claw slowly and gestured to Graal behind Midnight.

Graal jerks towards Midnight as she saunters past the giant, her thoughts echoing through his mind, earning him a pang of embarressment. Along with her thoughts came her own connection with the beast standing over his kill. "Oh! A dragon!" It had finally clicked, the embarressing moment of realisation, that his surrogate sister had realised that this giant lizard was what he had been lectured on for almost a whole year. "And she was so calm about it..." he thinks, his face hardening, standing straight and tall, and before Midnight can answer he cuts in, his tone respectful but terse, "Midnight es Ash Drappa-pup, en Ash nom es Graal. Voh es?" he asks, mouth twitching as he holds back a small smile, thinking that the dragon could probably not understand, and would have to ask what he had said, enforcing his own superiority, and undermining his earlier response.

"Yea, my name's Midnight. Sorry about that, I didn't mean to be crabby, I'm just hungry. Anyway, you can share the rest of this with me if you want." She said festering toward the carcass with her blood-stained muzzle. She had all she wanted from the meat; all that her stomach could hold. She got the impression from dragons that they liked young things, are tolerant, and wise. 'Nice, too.' She added as an afterthought. With that in mind, she stood and trotted over to it. Craning her neck to look up at it's face, she hopped onto his tail and ran up to his back. She rubbed her paw slowly across the white scales, and commented, "So smooth and shiny…"

Iiz slowly moved to the carcass, being as careful as possible to not make midnight fall from his back. He looked to Graal and nodded " I am Iiz'Vith, it is nice to meet you Graal and Midnight. " he looked back down the carcass and opened his large mouth. He fed the front end of elk into his mouth before shutting his mouth, causing the bones to make sickly cracking sounds as he ripped the elk's body in two with ease. After chewing for a moment or to he swallowed it and sighed before making what could be described as a smile, although his usually expressionless face had a hard time making one. " If I may ask midnight, why are you on my back? " he craned his neck again and ate the bottom half of the elk. It left a red streak over his previously white scales near his mouth. After chewing and swallowing he laid down in the snow in front of Graal, his pure white eyes were still on him along with that awkward smile.

Midnight kept her valence, and watched as he ate. When proposed the question, she hopped off and went over to his huge eye. "Sorry if it bothered you, I just wanted to feel your scales. I like dragons." she said. She reared up and placed her paws on either side of his large, intellegent eye, and looked into it. She saw kindness, wisdom, and bit of fun. She liked that. Midnight smiled. She let go and moved away from his direct vision, sitting with her back paws sideways with her tail curled around them. She was close to his neck, with her back to it, so he could probably feel her body heat. Randomly she said, "We should go fly somewhere…"

Iiz looked up to the sky as more snow began to fall, slowly it covered the blood stains that were in front of him. He also licked the blood from his lips before looking 'round to Midnight, when she was in his line of site he spoke again. " There is a strun coming, a blizzard. It would not be wise to fly right now, and if we were to fly. What would we do with your Zeymah...your brother? " he gestures to Graal with a slight nod. As he waited for a reply he looked back up to the sky, it was a dark gray and the only other color then the gray was the white of the snow flakes as they drifted down to the ground.

(( Sorry for the long post times, I keep losing my Muse, and it doesn't help when you miss me out Bit >_<; ))
It erked Graal that this dragon could understand what he was saying, or at least pick out his name from among what he had said, "Ah well I guess. No need to worry too much." he mused, padding closer to Midnight pulling a twig from her fur with a small smile, "He's right, I can feel the storm in my chest, you shouldn't go flying in that." he murmurs in her ear, greying muzzle tickling her. "Be careful. Lady Windwalker told us a tale of Drans from my homeland, the humans irritated him so he burnt down their whole port, turning the beach to hot glass. I don't want you getting hurt..."

((It was my bad, too. Shame on the me. ;. ) Midnight agreed with both. It was just a passing fancy, if you will. "Alright. Well then shouldn't we get somewhere more protected? I don't like storms…" she said. She thought about the message he sent her. It was quite odd but interesting. She decided to ask him about it later, maybe when they were sheltered.
