Fera wandered farther into what she knew to be pack territory. Honestly, the little ocelot couldn't be less bothered by the many packs. She didn't care a lick about them. But still, Fera was bored and was interested to see what trouble she could find. She approached what she knew to be Mizu lake and lapped up a bit of water. It was then that she first heard the voices. Fera approached cautiously, her body pressed against the soft grass in a hunting stance. She could now see the pink wolf and the human there. She took a small step forward, waiting to see if the would acknowledge her.

"Which ever you prefer to tell me i guess. I'm will to listen to both if you have the time to tell me." she says, cocking her head slightly, a plethora of emotions running across her body as she waits. Cercius smiles gently, nodding, "How glad I am you met me now, Ryleigh, while I can disguise my thoughts behind an unresponsive body..." he thinks, pondering the beginning of his story. "I am from a land far, far, to the west of here, a land called Ashory, although truth be told, that is the only name I knew it by, but the island itself was named differently. On that island, were humans and wolves, much like here, but in Ashory, humans have dominated the landscape, and long ago cut away the trees, killed the bears and the boars that so litter this land, and made the wolves' land their own, but all was not lost. My great-grandfather, for whom I am, named, came from a-... He pauses, then chuckles, "Perhaps I should start earlier, no? My great-grandfather was a great man in his time, and he deserves his tale told from the beginning." he says, smiling as he remembers the tales he was told as a child. An Ocelot slowly makes its way towards them, pausing to lap at the lake and his memory stirs again, and he turns once more to Ryleigh. "My name-sake, Cercius, was born in the Forbidden Peaks, far to the south west of these lands, a place where giant wolves roam the icy plains, and even the men fear to tread." he says, his tone dropping as he begins to tell his ancestor's story. "At a mere seven years of age, barely even a pup by Vulf standards, he was abandoned by human parents, and survived in the freezing tundra by living day to day, moment to moment, second to second. For 3 weeks and one day he survived alone, from the berries on the trees, the carcasses he passed, but on the second day of the third week, a blizzard tore through the forest, howling dark and surrounded by stinging cold, he fell to the ground, exhausted and hungry. But he woke warm, dry, and with a great weight upon his chest, and as he opened his heavy eyes, his blue eyes were met by his saviour's green eyes. he pauses for a moment, the story suspended, and points at his own emerald green eyes,"The same green as mine, in fact." he says wistfully, "But I digress, the Vulf upon Cercius' chest was young, but large, his body covering the young human's cold limbs with ease. And the Vulf stood, guesturing for Cercius to follow, and owing the Vulf, he did. For several weeks, Cercius and the black Vulf followed one another, always moving west, towards the warmer climate of the lower forests, and they grew close in that time, for the black Vulf, named simply Brother, by the way, admired Cercius' skills in setting traps, observing prey and seeking the weakest place to hit, and Cercius admired the way that Brother could attack with such speed and power as to allow no defense, obtaining food and tracking their prey for miles upon miles, as any experienced Vulf should be able to." He stops, looking around slightly as his mind returns to the present, he glances at Ryleigh. "This could go on for a while, are you sure you want me to continue? My clan's h-" He clears his throat, "My clan's song lasted a number of nights to give true respect to our gods and our legends, and I tell you one of the longer now. Would you like me to continue?" he asks, cocking his head in the same manner as Ryleigh had earlier.
