In one swift dip, Eichi landed near where the werewolf landed. He was toppled on the ground, but she still knew he was dangerous. She leaned down and whispered to him, weary of everything else around her. "None of this is worth it. Can you please change back? I'll deal with the other one."

With that Eichi turned her attention toward the black wolf, still engulfed in flames, even if they were less than before. She snarled and took a menacing step toward. She started talking quietly, letting her words escalate with each second. "I know you think you're tough, but this isn't your place. Leave him be or DEAL WITH ME!" Gods, she hoped she sounded menacing.

Navanic gave a quiet snort to let her know he wasn't intimidated by her in the least, but never the less he landed, the fires vanishing completely.

Cercius scrambles against the ground, all fury replaced with a melancholy panic, despair, desperation and shame.
"You're so WEAK!"
"What am I DOING!? I can't win this fight! Not like this!"
His hands finally find purchase on the ground, and he lifts himself from the ground, unsteady as a newborn pup as he shuffles to the side, letting whatever was trapped beneath him out.
He collapses to the ground again, pain wracking his body as another wolf,
"The blind one?"
leans over him, asking him to...
But her words were lost as another bolt of agony strikes down his spine, illiciting a whining yelp as his spine shrinks, pulling as every muscle and nerve in his body as they absorb the excess calcium, bending his whole body backwards.
He loses awareness of his surroundings as his features begin to bubble and writhe, the fur on his face dropping to the ground to reveal a pulsating mass of raw meat and bone.

(I know, just figuring out what to do with a burnt wolf.)

Thunder stood up as soon as he was off her, the burn on her chest giving her good reason to keep moving. She scooped up the embers in her mouth. If she was going to put out a fire she was going to put it out[/i]. Even if it burned her.

Now, with fire in her mouth and a burn on her chest she leaped into the water, diving under again and releasing the embers. The grass turned black even further and floated away. Thunder swam up the burn cooling, and remaining minor. Thunder clambered up the other side which, from where she was, had a whole lot of rocks. After pulling herself up the other side she began to sniff around in the hopes of finding dock and a poppy.

Eichi stood still for a couple moments, just to ensure everything was done. She sighed and landed back on solid ground, folding her wings back. "Navanic, since you started the fire, why don't you help her put it out." Eichi prompted, aware of a tad bit of spite in her words. She knew it wasn't the young wolf's fault what had happened, and she didn't blame him. Eichi knew that if she started a fight with werewolf when she was young, she wouldn't have stopped until one of them was dead. But she was different know.

Eichi then turned her attention to the werewolf. She walked closer, but kept her distance... Something was wrong, but she didn't know what. "Are you alright?"Wasn't that a stupid question, old girl, her mind nagged at her. Eichi breathed out slowly and approached the werewolf again, this time coming closer. "Can I help in any way?"

Navanic walked directly into the bed of coals, unaffected by the heat, and began tossing the embers into the river. He remained silent, but he still kept his eye on the werewolf, not trusing him in the least.

Cercius gasps for breath, the female growling to him again as his ribs slowly shrink, cutting into his soft organs with a slow squelch.
His eyes bulge, and his gaping mouth coughs, spraying his own lips with liquid scarlet.

With a loud crack, every single rib breaks, shrinking, then reconnecting, releasing the pressure somewhat on his slowly changing lungs. His eyes squeeze together as he let's out an inhuman groan of pain, his massive arms, out of proportion with the rest of his body, shed their fur, his dark skin lightening to a bright red, then pale pink as his muscles shrivel, stretching across the distance, then snap, his arms going limp as Cercius stretches on the floor, his mouth opening and closing in silent screams, unable to breath from the agony tearing through his body as his body begins to expel water from his fur.
Not just a drop or two either, Cercius was, within seconds, surrounded by soaked, dusty ground, his body covered in the grey ashy grime.

Thunder found what she was looking for, but by the smell of things she was going to need a whole lot more poppy. She delt with herself as she heard the splash of the embers she hadn't grabbed fall into the water. "Thanks." She said as she moved on in search of more poppy for Cercius.

Eichi whimpered and backed up at the sound of Cercius's moans. He just plain smelled messed up now. Eichi paced from side to side, wishing to know what was going on. She finally stopped, and sighed. She lay down on the ground and placed her head on her paws. Her sightless eye's focused on where she assumed the werewolf was and then she waited.

[Adurnak]

"No problem." Navanic replied, alighting next to Thunder. "There's a dire wolf living in the Western Taoi Ruins who has healing powers. He should be able to get rid of those burns for you, if you can find him."

(( XD I think that's a little ironic, that both Midnight and Cercius' clan-brother live in the Western Ruins ))

Cercius lay there, immobile now, eyes clamped shut and drenched in wolf sweat and shed fur, caked in grime and in his own private world of hurt.
"Toes..."
He slowly flexes his toes.
"Now the fingers..."
He uncurls his fingers, white knuckles stinging as his skin finally covers the exposed bone.
"Good, I can move... At a stretch... Now, nose..."
His nose flares, taking in the scents.
"Salt, ash, wolf, smoke, water... Nothing odd there."

Cercius sneaks one eye open, almost immediately slamming it shut again as the light hurts his eyes.
He was blind for the moment.
"Weak..."
Cercius couldn't think of a comeback, but opened his mouth to groan.
Alarm blazes through him as he realises he isn't breathing and he instantly rocks over onto his hands and knees, coughing clear fluid, freeing his lungs of the foul fluid that had been in his lungs, bitter and sour at the same time as he sucks in the tainted air, oblivious of everything else around him as he cracks open his eyes, the fact that he was naked finally dawning on him...
"Of the all draw-backs!" he thinks, frustrated and tired. "Other than the pain of course, but that's my fate I guess..." he muses, as he sits up, or rather sprawls in a pose eay to breath in while preserving what dignity he had left.
