Thunder found a sorry supply of five poppies. She picked them and with the bundle in her mouth jumped across again. She placed four of the flowers in front of Cercius before backing away and snapping up the measly two seeds she had saved for herself. With all the fires here it was no surprise that there were so few of the flower but normally it would thrive in this kind of earth. Perhaps she should plant some here later in-case something like this ever occurred again. Certainly the horses wouldn't mind.

Eichi waited one moment, then two, before she was sure everything was over. She paced closer to the werewolf's smell, and licked what she presumed to be his face. "Are you okay?"Once again, old girl, her mind snapped at her, stupid question.

Launching himself into the air, the elemental wolf streaked off in the direction of the ruins, trails of red light streaming out behind him as he passed out of sight in an instant.
