"Not sure what use I could be here..." Midnight mumbled to herself. But she smirked at the thought of how the dragon would end this fight. "Be my guest." She said louder to Ii'z.

Rather than bouncing off of Lykaios, or even flipping over, she turns, running past the crouching female's body, and performs a 180° spin on the spot, heedless of her missing tail now as her eyes glint, cold and dangerous. If Lykaios was too slow to react, she'd lose. "But not die, never die. I never kill just to be dominant, something she doesn't seem to get! If I were an ordinary wolf, she'd have crippled me for life and I'd die, why is she trying to kill me!?" she thinks, panicking slightly as her back slowly drips with cold sweat and blood. Her shoulder was stinging and her tail was gone, and yet she'd not even tried yet to seriously injure the opposing wolf. "What is wrong with you, you crazy bitch!?" she blurts out, "You're not supposed to kill in a fight like this!"
Sure, she'd lost the advantage of a surprise attack, but if Lykaios were to relax slightly and start talking instead, maybe Lillian could take the opportunity to push her over and establish dominance by pinning her to the ground...

Lykaios growls a little and chuckles. "You've pissed me off. I'm not going to let a werewolf dominate me." Lykaios snarls and quickly charges at Lillian again. Her legs were burning, but that has never made her give up a fight before.

Iiz sighed and nod's and he slowly gets up, the joints in his legs making slight pops as he does so " I am getting too old to end these little squabbles but if I must... " He steps forward and his eyes begin to glow white and the area around him seems to grow colder as he stomps one of his feet and lets out a low growl to the two, in a booming voice he yells " Enough you too! " He steps closer to the two wolves in threatening pose as he seems ready to attack if need be.

Lykaios yipes and stops mid charge. "Why does this concern you, Dragon?" Lykaios turns to him with her tail and head head high.

He turns his head and stares at the wolf " Need I have a reason when I could eat you like a snack!? " The glow in his eyes gets brighter as he seems honest with his words, he unfurls his wings to full extent " Do you understand me! " His yells become roars and they carry for miles, and at this point as he seems dead set on stopping this fight.

Lilliana's legs had been shaking for a while now, and she felt too light, like she was going to float away... Her eyes had difficulty focusing on her target too, but the blur of white was becoming indistinct from the snow. "Damn it...." This was when her legs gave out, and she sunk to the ground, bleeding and panting, the smallest of whimpers coming from her throat before she cut it off, the roars of the dragon, spewing nonsense, it seemed, sounded somehow muffled, and the dark shadows seemed to be growing around her, engulfing her vision in warm night.
"Stupid girl..." Those words, and that voice, made her stomach churn, dread shivering down her spine...
Cercius sat in a tree above the fight, having hung back and watched Lilliana fight for the last few minutes, seeing if she'd gotten strong enough to win her own fights yet, but it seemed that for all his training, she still wasn't ready, her body was still too weak... "It's time to come home, will you come willingly, or will I have to drag you back again?" the human says, as he swings down from branch to branch, expertly placing each foot, only to use it as a pivot to reach the next branch, often going upside down as he swings his whole body in an athletic display to demonstrate his own control and strength to intimidate Lilliana into agreement, and as a warning to Lykaios. He lands gracefully with both feet together, and puts his momentum into a slow bow at the waist, before stepping forwards towards Lykaios. "I've been looking for a way to bring this girl down a notch, and it seems you've done it for me, so I must thank you. However, I must add that any further attempts to kill or permanently injure her would simply earn you retribution from myself." he says stiffly, then turns to Iiz'Vith and Midnight, "My friends, I apologize for the interruption, but I had to intervene before she hurt herself any more than she has, I only wish I could have spoken to you both on a more friendly occasion." He speaks swiftly, eyes constantly darting to where Lilliana lay, her blood pooling about her from various bites, cuts, her shoulder and her rear, then bows once more to Midnight and Iiz'Vith before moving quickly to Lilliana's side, reaching into the various pockets and sleeves in his green leather jacket, the only constant piece of clothing he seems to keep with him.
She hated him... She hated him so much... He was always there when she needed him, and never there when she didn't, and he followed her everywhere to make sure she was okay, rescuing her when she needed him the most. And she hated him for it. How he talked of "training" her, "Bah! He dumps in the middle of nowhere and trails me until I almost die!" Her mind reels in hatred, both for Lykaios and herself, but most of all for Cercius. "Why couldn't he have just left me to die!?"

Lykaios glanced back at Lilliana to see that she had collapsed on to the ground. She had won. Lykaios twitched her ears at the sound of the male humans voice. As he spoke to Lykaios, she kept herself a distance from him. Getting close to humans only ld to pain and suffering. The human knew Lilliana. The fact that he was here to save Lilliana made her laugh. Lykaos could feel and smell the hatred from Lilliana. "That's right," Lykaios said. "Take her back to where she belongs. I would gladly rip her throat out but its not worth it." She snapped in Lilliana's direction. As Lykaios sat down, she remembered her bleeding belly. In the midst of the battle, she forgot the pain. Now she felt the pain. At least they knew she was the strongest. Lilliana would never forget this. Winning was all that mattered to her anymore. Not the pain; not the loneliness. All that was left for her is power.

"That's right, take her back to where she belongs!"
The female flaunts her victory over Lilliana, ignoring her own wounds and puffing her chest out proudly. It sickened them both, and Lilliana's face twitches into the grim visage of what is almost a smile, her eyes welling with tears as she chokes back her conflicting emotions. "Oh no, wolf. You misunderstand. I was never a human. She was once. She can never go home now. They would kill her because I brought her back from the cold shores of death before she could wade into the evergloom." She hated him, she hated him so much[/b]! He brought it all home to her, every sentence hammering the stake deeper into her heart. [/color]"If she were only a little stronger, she could have torn you apart from the inside out." She lifts her head to look Cercius in the eyes, show him that she really was strong! He turns to catch a glint of her pale blue eyes, and a small reassuring smile begins to spread over his lips, but she looks down, shame in them and in the way that her ears drooped down and her head sunk to the floor. He sighs. "Not there yet, are we Ash Kenar?" He asked it as if she actually meant something to her! What an asshole! But... "No sir..." she says, throat hoarse with sadness and defeat. "What is my punishment?"

As the male came closer to her she could smell the strange half wolf half human scent. "Werewolf. That makes more sense," Lykaios muttered quietly. As the werewolf turns to Lilliana, she eventually bows her head in defeat. Lykaios almost felt bad for her. The feeling left as quickly as it came.

"No sir..." She says, earning a frustrated grunt from Cercius. "Why is she always so formal!" he wonders, sighing quietly, and pinching the top of his nose and closing his eyes to fight the headache of confusion back. "Wha-?" "What is my punishment?" His eyes snap open, and he finally gives her a once-over, cringing at her question.
"Werewolf. That makes more sense." "Oh, be quiet, you've already threatened to rip her throat out, would you like me to repeat the threat back to you? Except I don't make threats, I make promises." he snaps back at Lykaios , baring his teeth for a moment. "Damn... She's not looking good, that tail will need treatment or blood poisoning will set in. he thinks, turning to glare at Lilliana. "How could she lose like this!? How is she not learning from my lessons!?" "What punishment? I've told you before, only humans kick their friends when they're down!" he barks at her. He sighs, closing his eyes and relaxing his face as he breathes out again. "How many times do I have to say this, girl? You're safe with me, I won't let anything happen to you."
Gods, he pissed her off! He always pretended like he wasn't going to find some new way to torture her! Maybe a dip in the hotsprings then being dumped in the icy wasteland to see how long it was before she froze to death... "Yes sir..." "Stop calling me that! I told you my name, unlike you! Now, hold still, let's see that wound of yours." They bickered between the two of them, the conversation tense and heated, despite the seeming terse calmness as he crouched beside her, hand on her hindquarters as he inspects her wound, with Lilliana's eyes trained on Lykaios, shame and anger in her eyes. "I'll kill you one d-" Lilliana lets out a loud yelp of unexpected pain, her body beginning to shake as Cercius interrupts her outburst, resting one finger on the wound, testing the temperature, and checking for inflamation. "I'm gonna have to carry you back it seems, this wound is bad. I can't believe you ripped your own tail off, Drappa."

"I'd like to see you try," Lykaios growls at the threat from Lilliana. Lykaios had had enough of the werewolves. She ha proven her strength. She turns to Midnight and Iiz' Vith. "I am sorry if I have wasted part of your day with with this fight," Lykaios said while bowing her head respectfully. "Have a good day. I should go treat my wounds now." She turns and starts to leave.

"I'd like to see you try." Lykaios growls, and Cercius tenses his muscles, growling back. "Don't push me wolf, I'm not in the mood to have you threatening my child." "I don't need your protection!" Lilliana barks, snapping at Cercius' hand as he goes to pick her up, "I'm not defeated yet!" "Don't be stupid!" he snarls down at her, pushing her back down against the ground as she tries to stand, his eyes showing pity, and pain of his own as she breathes heavily, exhausted and injured, "You can't fight in your condition, not like this, and not today!"
Lykaios turns to Midnight and the dragon she stands upon. "I am sorry if I have wasted part of your day with with this fight," she says, bowing her head respectfully. "Have a good day. I should go treat my wounds now." She says, turning to leave. "This isn't over! I'll kill you if it's the last thing I do! I hate you!" Lilliana howls, tears running from her eyes as she tries vainly to escape Cercius' grip around her neck.

((I was just waiting for an opening, up until now all midnight could do was just stand by and process thought.....anyway, hope that didn't put a damper on the mood ;D))
iC: Midnight watched the fight with mild interest, mostly to see when the fight needed to stop. She trusted Iiz, since the dragon had more experience and would probably know more than she this. Well, when a wolf rips her own tail off, I think things are a little out if hand, Midnight thought. She tensed and bristled, but Iiz'Vith's booming voice halts her. An argument and some heated words followed, and she was almost grateful to smell Cercius not far away. Almost. Alright, she should be ok now. But it seemed as if Lilliana was scared of Cercius. The emotion was dwarfed by the feeling of hatred radiating strongly from her. She hated him. But why? "Cercius wait." Midnight said quickly. She hopped down and ran lightly towards him, flashing a quick look of gratitude at Iiz. She stopped and asked quietly, "Do you need anything? Like a herb or something?" she looked over at Lykaios and said darkly, "I could take care of her if you'd like."
((sorry if it's crappy >.<))

Lykaios turned and shot an angry look at Midnight. Normally she would happily fight her, but she was tired and didn't need more enemies. She slunk back into the trees and headed back to where she had spent the earlier night.
