Nadia lifted her head off her crossed paws and looked out over the sparkling ocean as the sun finally descended over the horizon and the full moon shone brightly over head. Nadia stood up and walk slowly to the shores edge letting the water come over her paws. This year she didn't care who listened or whatever pack was near. This year is different something inside her just wanted to burst out in the loudest howl she ever did. Lifting her snout to the sky she let out a loud mournful howl that could probably be heard for miles. she held it as long as she could the let it fade into the distance. with that she dropped her head into her chest and started to cry.

Ooc: I'm joining with Wind, if that's alright.
Bic: Wind was a black wolf with silvery flames draping up his legs, both bat wings at his side as he began to treck across the land once more. He was considering to call it a night as he stopped to look at the moon. But he paused hearing a howl that sounded sad, incredibly sad. Wondering what was wrong, he let out another howl back as he opened his maw to let it out, arched heavily as he responded. What was he? Was he a comforter? Was he just being curious? Whatever his motive he wanted some sort of help or be of aid to this other wolf. He began to follow the sound of where the howl came from not even sure of what it had been for.
Once he got to the area he realised that he was out near an ocean of some sort, the waves were soaked with the silvery moon light as it came down before them. And within the light, he had noticed another wolf standing by theirself. And it was a girl. He came more cautious now, if she did consider him a threat, he would leave, "Is everything alright? I heard your call, and hopefully answered it." Wind said in a calm and concerned voice to her.

With tears in her eyes Nadia's ears twitched backwards as another howl came rushing from behind her. She turned around preparing if needed to fight as a black wolf came out an asked if she was alright. tears started to welled in her eyes as she realized he said this with worry and concern for her. Concern that only her parents gave to her all those years ago. Gratitude sprang up within her as tears quickly came rushing down her face. "Forgive me no one has ever asked me that for ten years " Nadia said tears still streaming slowly down her water colored fur. "I'm Nadia and my howl was just to give honor to my parents who died ten years ago" Nadia explained. She turned her back to him and sat down showing him the scar on her mid back she got from a arrow that dreadful year. "Although they tried they're best to protect me one hunter still was able to hit me in the back." Nadia faced the black wolf again realizing that she was still crying. Then wondering if she gave to much information to him.

Wind nodded understanding, he had his own problems with family and his past. He hardly knew his father and only his mother for a short time as well. The wolf felt like he wasn't really attached to anyone as he decided to leave what was left of his family to go on his own. "It's alright I understand, I too have some sadness in my past. Never really knew that much about my parents. Mom and siblings disappeared at a young age, I never saw them after that." He said as he nodded seeing the scar but there was no real expression in his eyes, there was some concern like before but nothing had changed. Eventually, he got over to Nadia's side and sat down, but it was a position if he had to get right back up he would. Like if there was a fight or another creature was watching them, he was ready. Or if worse came to worse he would fly away from the area in order to get away.
"Also I forgot my manners, my name is Wind Cloudchaser, but most people know me as Wind." He added introducing himself.

Nadia's heart skipped a beat as the wolf sat by her. Something about this wolf made her feel safe and calm. After introducing himself she also sat by him. She was feeling a bit comforted by him and with her gratitude growing she felt her tears stop running down her face. " I howl for them every year on the day it happened" Nadia said. "but it doesn't change anything. yet i feel i must do I mean they were the only wolves i knew and my only family. I had no siblings. I was my mother only child and they both loved me so much." she laid down feeling weak and depressed.

"I had siblings but like my father and mother we weren't that close." Wind said as he looked back at Nadia with a sigh. "So I'm guessing that we're similar in a way with the family ordeal." He added but shrugged his shoulders a bit. He knew that he could never be upset over them, it was his parents fault really not his own. He just got in the mess with it as a pup being born into it. And so he tried not to get into the mix when he did or ever meet his father again. He found it hard to believe it would happen since he had left so many years ago and would put his past behind him. "I don't mean to make this sound harsh but I just kind of put my past behind me. We were given the moments to live on our own and some mistakes we just can't fix. I'm sure your parents are proud of you no matter where they are now." He said.

Nadia dropped her head "I found that as I went through these ten years alone that if you put your past behind you'll forget the past" Nadia said. " and I'd rather not have history repeat itself" Nadia looked at Wind and sighed. "I knew that someday if I kept on howling a wolf or pack would eventually come. if i made friends with them i wanted to be ready."
"Maybe I shouldn't howl every year though" she smiled at herself. "thanks for your comfort" Nadia lifted her head exposing her throat as a sign of trust to him.

Wind nodded, "Though I don't think I could ever be in a pack, the one that I was in was torn apart in many ways. So I've been wandering to this day. I think we'd be good to start as a friend." He agreed as he looked back at Nadia not trying to remember those moments when he was a pup. After all he did eventually did leave in order to take his own path.

((no problem about the late posting, my last post was short too))
Nadia's blue eyes lit up. she smiled and burrowed her paws in the sand and looked out over the ocean. he must be kind, he did offer friendship. she looked up at wind and nodded "I agree friends would be a great start". Nadia could help but wag her tail. "do know a safe place where i can sleep?" Nadia asked as she felt her body getting exhausted.
