Name: Deimos Formido Ares
Sex: Male
Race: Wolf
Sub-Race: Demon
Breed: Druin
Pack: Giaku
Rank: Presbyter-Solidus
Appearance:
Deimos has long passed the golden years of his life. Reaching quite up there in old age, the elder Druin shows many physical signs of being old. However, his size isn’t one of those. At his tallest, he stands at 9’1” at the shoulders, being rather large, even in Druin standards. Many, many years ago, his fur was a lustrous navy blue that would shine with brilliance. Youth long forgotten, Deimos’ sheek coat has faded to a bluish slate grey; the color matted and washed out, ridden with gaps and ridges, showing many battle scars that cover his form. Especially where the whiskers sit on his muzzle and his chin, the fur has lost pigmentation and is a silvery color, sharing the same color as his brows. Having rather thick brows, his facial expression can often appear contemptuous and scornful, though sometimes he truly is. Iris’ a fiery orange-red, they stand out against his aged fur, the only part of him that has remained the same over his lifetime. As distinguishable on most Druins, many spikes and horns adorn the large male. The most notably prominent ones are the two pair that arc backwards. The first pair protrudes from the back of the stop of Deimos’ head, just behind his brows and arc backwards and angle a little outwards. The second pair mirrors the first except they grow from the occiput of his head, arcing backwards and angled a little out (so whenever he doesn’t look up, he doesn’t impale his own neck). They are thick and a dark smoky grey in color, however, the tip of the right foremost horn has broken off in battle long ago. Saw tooth-like spikes grow from in between his first pair of horns all the way down his back and along his tail, ranging from a few inches in length to about 8”. Being the same color as his horns, they too have seen their time, as many have nicked, cracked or even broken off in decades past. As some Druin’s are bestowed with the ability to sprout wings, Deimos was granted such extravagances, however, as with many of his spikes, his right wing has been completely severed from his shoulder in battle. Only remaining with his left wing, he deems in unnecessary for his wing to manifest itself and never displays it.
However, there may be something else about him that would be just as distinctive as his horns. Deimos sports many piercings, mainly on his head. 5 Black rod-like studs jut from the bridge of his muzzle and 5 more on the underside of his jaw, giving the illusion his muzzle has been pierced shut. 3 studs on each brow give makeshift eyebrows and his long ears are pierced up the outside a half a dozen times each, having the same rod piercings as the rest of his face has. Lastly, these rod-like stud piercings appear on his forelegs, 4 on the front and back of each forearm, having the same illusion of being impaled with these black rods. Perhaps relating to his abilities, he takes a liking to metal piercings. Deimos’ scales are a faded red-orange, almost a light gold in color and they trail from the crest of his chest all the way down the underside of most of his tail. Quite long actually, his tail is also a physical trait of his age, stretching almost three times his body’s length, ending with a blunt fluffy tip.
Personality:
Loyal to the Giaku and Giakunian regime, Deimos doesn’t really care about Shinkou or its allies and has a strong belief that Giaku is much stronger than Shinkou and a more worthwhile pack despite the past the both share. Participating in the war between Shinkou and Giaku, even though Shinkou won, the aging male strongly believes it was a fluke chance and they are the true evil of the lands, not Giaku. After all they were the ones that decided to drive the Druins from the Shinkou lands and caused mutual hatred between the two groups. He knows that Druins are a much more powerful race and especially with most of Shinkou’s power gone, they could perhaps win if another war broke out. If only the Empress and Emperor would get their heads out of the clouds of “peacetime” and take back the land that was truly theirs.
Most of the time, Deimos often depicts himself as cold and apathetic and doesn’t hesitate injuring his own allies if he was irritated and in a sour mood. However, he is completely and genuinely dedicated to Giaku, as displayed in his lifelong commitment to the military. Much like his fellow comrades in the military, Deimos lives for the thrill of combat and is often visibly frustrated when faced with circumstances where he is denied the opportunity of fighting a skilled adversary. And because of his tremendous experience, the elder Druin is more perceptive then his demeanor suggests, and has demonstrated his ability to relay indiscernible pieces of information, baring meaning that some others would have trouble understanding otherwise, to his comrades.
Abilities/Magic:
Fear Inducement; A minor ability of his, Deimos has limited control in forcing fear upon others. He can either do this in a fear inducing roar or make eye contact with his target. Both of which can instill a cowering or paralyzing fear on the victim and make them fear him or something else, depending on the situation, often lasting between a few minutes or hours, also depending on how much Deimos puts forth energy. He can also force upon his target despair, temporarily bringing down their self-esteem to the point where they would not be able to fight for a period of time. [/ul]
Attacks/Spells:
Skills: Deimos’ participation in many battles and training has resulted in him having expert skills in close combat situations, almost always going unarmed. Also, being a veteran, he has proven his resilience in battle albeit numerous scars. Though old enough to be thought as a frail old Druin who needs to stay inside all the time, Deimos is still quite self-reliant and independent, keeping himself strong and sharp by taking on apprentices to pass on his skills to the future generations.
===Weaknesses: Absence of iron to replenish his reserves, metal corrosive attacks (acid, highly acidic liquids, etc.), the target blocking their senses from his fear inducing roar.
History:
Age: 89
Family:
Mate: Harmonia (deceased)
Children: None
Parents: Ares and Cypris
Siblings: Eryx (elder brother; deceased), Aeneas (younger brother), Peitho (younger sister), (Infant sister presumed dead in the initial battle between Shinkou and the Druins)
Friends & Allies: Numerous friends from the military
Enemies: Shinkou
Born when the Druins inhabited the lands of Giaku, his parents had followed the great Tartarus out of Giaku’s corruption and into the Shinkou lands. Thinking they had escaped this foul corruption, Deimos’ parents, Ares and Cypris, raised him along with his brothers and sisters, hoping for a better future for them. However, their peaceful settlement didn’t last long as Shinkou’s Alpha at that time, Nightbane, saw the Druins in his lands as a vice itself and began to force them out of Shinkou. Tartarus told all of the Druins to fight back and they did. Ares, Deimos’ father remained for the fight while Cypris kept her children out of harm’s way in the flanks of the battle. However, a Shinkou wolf raided their camp and stole the youngest of her children, Deimos’s younger sister in the middle of the night. Finding out by morning, Deimos, his siblings and his mother mourned her disappearance, assuming her dead at this point. Eryx along with Deimos promised their mother that they would avenge their sister, but realized they were still too young to fight. They only could watch the fight as many on both sides suffered many casualties. Ultimately, Nightbane of Shinkou won the battle and they were forced back into Giaku; luckily, his father survived.
Deimos upbringing was subjected to much hatred towards the wolves and Nightbane by his Druin comrades and parents. Learning of only how Shinkou should be the Druin’s and not the wolves’, his philosophy was hardened upon that fact because, he had not learned much about the history and even if he did at that time, his parents would have told him that it was wrong and the Shinkou lands were rightfully the demon’s. Reaching adolescence, he trained hard, remembering his promise of vengeance and the hatred towards Shinkou he had. Tartarus was named Emperor around this time, being recognized for his strength and leadership. He led them with the same philosophy as Deimos held against Shinkou and Giaku became known as the land of vengeance and ruled in the name of their own understanding of Justice.
Entering the military forces of Giaku, Deimos became a dutiful soldier, in hopes of gaining more power and skill in order to gain his revenge against Shinkou. Years passed by and reaching early middle adulthood, Tartarus led them into a sudden, yet blind battle against Shinkou. Arriving upon Wyndbain’s doorstep, they fought against the wolves on their home soil. Deimos battled with enjoyment, feeling his hatred take over and kill as much of the puny wolves as he could. Having developed his magicks enough, he was successful in the battles, smashing and crushing numerous wolves under his iron paws. Their ultimate loss unsatisfied him and lost some respect for his ruler Tartarus. His flame of rage not quenched, Deimos didn’t like the idea of having a peaceful time with Shinkou as Tartarus advocated that Druins weren’t the demons as everyone makes them out to be. It was hard to believe that, reflecting upon Giaku’s history along with Tartarus’. Deimos believes that Shinkou were the ones that made the Druin’s demons and their heritage is not stained with such a word. This quiet time within Giaku allowed Deimos to settle down some and he had met a lovely Druiness by the name of Harmonia. Together, their relationship had quelled some of Deimos’ anger some. Soon enough, they became mates and wanted to be parents. Unfortunately, Deimos was sterile and could not bear his mate any pups. Depressed by this, their relationship almost reached an outcome of breaking up until the chance to adopt came. However, the misfortune of Harmonia collapsing of a heart attack induced by heartworms and their disease, dying before they could make their final decision. Enraged to the point of severe depression, Deimos blindly did his work and decided not to take on another mate.
Continuing his loyalty towards Giaku with his service, often in this time of peace, Deimos would often act as a policeman along with many of his comrades as their military force wasn’t needed for much else. During this time of peace, he had many rumors of Tartarus’ becoming hostile with his mates/female consorts as he kept gaining new ones. Not too soon after, he was assassinated and Deimos witnessed a Druin by the name of Charon take the fallen reigns. As Deimos grew old with age, he still had his flame of rage against Shinkou and often thought of how to grasp another Shinkou between his jaws. Strongly disliking this age of peace, Empress Lacrimosa and Emperor Ammon had taken the ruling positions and continued this peace. Not having much to do in his free time, Deimos has found that there were many female sclavus’ and rather than taking on another mate to fulfill his manly needs, he takes on temporary female consorts to keep himself satisfied, not wanting another emotional connection.

He can also force upon his target despair, temporarily bringing down their self-esteem to the point where they would not be able to fight for a period of time. [/ul]
Attacks/Spells:
Iron
Druin’s Mighty Iron Club
Able to turn any part of his body into iron, Deimos mainly uses this attack to turn his legs into a pillar type rod, increasing his punching or kicking power. This pillar or club can be elongated at his will, making it a power ranged weapon. He can also create multiple smaller clubs from the end of the original to hit multiple targets at once. Also, he is also capable of increasing their size dramatically and to detach them from his body. Lastly, having a more primitive club-like function, the old male can turn the tip of his tail into a mass of steel, either pillar like or more like a wrecking bacl, or even with spikes to act as a mace. With his long tail, accuracy is low but can pack quite a punch.
Druin’s Sharp-edged Iron Sword
Similar to his iron club, it possesses cutting power instead of blunt power and thus being possibly deadlier, Deimos transforms his arm or leg into a large, jagged steel blade. The spikes along the blade’s edge make its slashes more dangerous and painful, and the weapon’s length can be elongated to reach enemies away from him. Also, these jagged edges could be circulated around the edge of the blade to act as a chainsaw, effectively increasing its damage.
Druin’s Piercing Javelin
Deimos can turn his limbs into spears and use them in melee, jabbing and poking at opponents or even protrude steel spikes from his body, acting as more of a defense. He is also able to fire the tips of these steel spikes at his targets, though he is unable to have much control over his aim. He tends to go for the shotgun effect, firing multiple tips in rapid succession.
Druin’s Iron Knight Armor
Covering part of his body, or the entirety of it, with steel scale-like armor, Deimos’ offense and defense is dramatically increased. When delivering melee attacks, like kicking or punching, Deimos is capable of creating powerful gusts of wind through mere kinetic force. These scales are strong enough to shatter bone and rock alike, resilient against regular flames and much harder than normal iron.
Fear Inducement
Phobic Roar
Producing normal roar like all Druins, he utilizes his secondary vocal cords, having the capability to reach deeper frequencies. He utilizes resonating frequencies to play auditory trickery on the target along with emanating the power to instill fear. Mixing the two, the sound waves almost hit the target like pressurized airwaves, strong enough to slow an enemy down. It strongly varies though on who or what the target is. Some he may be able to render powerless or slow an enemy down for a moment or two. Others, if they have weak will power or an unstable resolve, they may be frozen in their tracks for several minutes to hours.
Skills: Deimos’ participation in many battles and training has resulted in him having expert skills in close combat situations, almost always going unarmed. Also, being a veteran, he has proven his resilience in battle albeit numerous scars.
