Amanda entered the dreary bar cautiously. The gang that wanted her dead proved ready to go to any limits to kill her. And even after everything that she'd endured, everything she'd lost, she still wasn't ready to die. But she was ready to kill. And THEY were her first targets.
The bar was defiantly seedy. Amanda shuddered; she hated these places. She quickly put it out of her mind, though. She had other business to attend to. Seated at a table, surrounded by scarcely dressed women, was her target. He sipped from his drink while cooing over his girls. The music was loud, and Amanda couldn't hear exactly what he was saying. Amanda approached slowly. He hadn't noticed her yet.
Now, she could either do this silent and smart, or loud and bad-ass. How about a bit of both, she smiled to herself. She approached his both and looked at the girls.
"Excuse me ladies, I need to borrow your man for a second," Amanda said calmly, smoothly. They just stared at her. She pulled out her pistol. Now they scurried out of the booth. Amanda slid in next to the man.
"You know what I want."
The man shook his head.
"Give me the name of your organization and a location of your base."
He smiled.
"Because I know that."
"I know you know. I remember you. You were there."
He smiled again, before replying,
"I don't know what you mean."
"DAMMIT, STOP PLAYING WITH ME!" Amanda screamed. She raised her gun and shot his leg, an action that made him scream, and made the entire club stare at her. Not smart Amanda.
He quieted down long enough to spit at her and about, "I'm not going to tell you anything!"
Amanda raised her gun and pointed it at him. He spat in her face again and laughed.
"You don't have the guts!"
Amanda pulled the trigger.
Amanda ran through the nighttime streets of Thor, the police shooting at her from behind. Really wished I hadn't shot that guy. The police continued to chase her.I'm tired of this. Amanda thought angrily. I'm already wanted, no point hiding it now.
Amanda stooped and changed, feeling her skin change and power course through her body as she became her armored form. She ran at her top speed, knowing now police cars chased her down the streets as she sped by. Gotta lose these cops, she thought, taking a sharp turn, thinking no one would follow. She was too busy looking behind her to see the end of the alley in front of her. She ran into the wall at her top speed. Her body smashed into the wall and bounced off of it and she crashed to the ground.
"FREEZE! DON'T MOVE!"
"Dammit," she hissed. She did NOT get this far just to be stopped by cops.
