Alshain
Alshain gave his great, feathered wings a languid stretch as he rose from his early afternoon nap. A toss of his head cleared his vision of the unruly tuft of deep blue fur sprouting from his crown. His maw cracked open and his tongue rolled out as he unleashed a savage yawn. A smile soon took its usual place on his face and put a sparkle in his eyes. It was a good day. In fact, it had been a series of good days since he'd become a part of the Shinkou. For the most part he'd kept to himself to watch and learn the ways of the pack. However, having accepted the rank of Mori, he now had duties to attend to.
He seated himself then at the base of the tree, ears perked up and alert to wait for the pups to be dropped off in his care. To tell the truth, he was a little anxious. He wanted to make a good impression with his new family. He wanted to secure his place with them and prove himself useful. The slim beast ruffled his wings and set about preening like a bird while he waited, wondering what sort of day he'd have with them.
