Tall pillars made of only the purest of moon-rock, they would glow in the night sky as if they were the stars themselves. Giant beds stuffed full of only the fluffiest cloud-material, so soft that they seemed to swallow you whole when you jumped into them. Servants bringing breakfast, lunch, and dinner, helping her dress and keeping her cleaned. They thought for her, leaving the only thing for her to decide by herself being whether or not she would attend whatever extravagant dance would be going on that night. This was the world Daeneryss had been born into, lived in, and fell from...
She screamed, her vocal chords releasing a shrill, shrieking cry not unlike the sound of some banshee. How had this happened? How had she fallen from her beautiful home? Surely this was all a dream. Surely at any second the servants would come in and wake her for breakfast with her father, and then a ride through the streets of Estrellia with her mother. But she didn't wake and the dream didn't shatter as it was supposed to. The young star kept falling and falling, straight toward the earth she had so often coveted. But this wasn't how she had wanted to meet it. Falling to her doom from the balcony in her room. This was all wrong.
She fell through an ocean of clouds, then a flock of birds where she recieved nemerous cuts and batterings from talons and wings not to mention the chorus of angry squawks which followed her. She moved her wings, but for some reason the air wouldn't catch and the moon-child continued plummeting to the ground. She screamed, clawing at the wind, trying desperately to right herself, to find her equilibrium and stop her decent. There! She was finally facing downward and somewhat stable. Daeneryss flung her wings out and grinned triumphantly, tears of joy streaming from her eyes. But her happiness was short lived. With a pain like none she had ever experienced, and the muffled sound of snapping twigs, her wings were rendered useless; the sheer speed she fell at placing too much pressure on the angelic limbs and breaking them like dry twigs. The young woman shrieked in pain and devestation, her wings flapping uselesly in the wind as she was sent into an uncontrollable spiral.
Every second brought her nearer to the ground, and not a ground of moon-stone and cloud, but of hard, solid rock and dirt. The picture of her slender body broken and lifeless laying upon a rock somehwere flashed into her mind, making her release a broken wail. It was no use, she couldn't save herself. She would fall to her death upon this foreign world.
A mile, half a mile, a quarter mile, ten yards, three yards, three feet, inches, collision. Daeneryss hit the ground, the impact sending dirt and debris flying away as that slender figure created a disaster zone. Again and again she hit the ground an finally just skidded to a halt in the center of a giant crater. The world was silent then, struck either into fear or awe at the sight of this celestial being. But daeneryss was long gone, unconsciousness having claimed her with the first connection to the ground. A miraculous thing began to happen then, her body began to morph and twist until the form of a pure white she-wolf had replaced that of the young star. The magic of this new world working on her instincts and pushing her through a shift. The creature laid there, unmoving but for the swaying of her fur in the wind. The ruffled feathers over her wings were matted with a silver ichor: blood. Her broken body laid in the crater, unmoving.
The grass swayed around the rim of her landing zone, the world continuing on as if nothing had happened. And then there was change. With a shuddering, rasping breath, the star broke into life with a powerful glow. That ruined, broken she-wolf with her shattered wings sprawled out to her sides. She laid there, unconscious but breathing, waiting for the one who would place her back together...

It had been mostly a quiet day for the exception of the hunt that had ended a few minutes ago in Al taking down a small deer which had been roaming about. A nice breeze rolling by every now and again as he had tore his way into the stomach, working his way out on the deer's body. Quiet and peaceful. Just the way he truly enjoyed the state of things to be in until that awful noise broke the silence. A very loud noise at that. The moment it rang through the air Alastolan jumped. What in the world?! His head snapped in the direction it seemed to be coming from as he quickly cleaned the blood from his mouth. Sounded like a boulder just plowed into the ground... He stood there for a few moments just looking with unblinking eyes before he finally managed to bring himself back from his daze. As usual with his attention span, once it was grabbed with a firm hold, his hunger was forgotten completely. His curiosity being what it is, he wanted to go figure out what on earth had made such a loud racket. A nice hard flap of his wings and he was off into the sky, still cleaning the remainder of the blood from his meal off his mouth and paws as he flew.
It wasn't too long before he noticed what seemed to be a trail of small craters from something or someone bouncing across the ground at terrific speeds as they seemed to be 'stretched' from the small skidding distance in each one. That is until he followed the craters to the end result where there lay a large strip of ground missing where the final skid had taken place. But it wasn't the size of the impact that surprised him, it was what lay within the debris and dirt. He flew down to land beside the creature that lay there. He fixed his eyes upon her and stood for a minute. Such a beautiful wolf.... how did you manage to cause such a mess? He let out a small sigh upon realizing her state of unconsciousness. I can't just leave her here like this. He looked her over carefully, inspecting all the injuries one by one to assess how he could best help. The wings being the most obvious and most damaged, he tried his best to try to slowly and gently move them back to their natural position. It wasn't until after he had finished that task that he lay down beside her, and began the process of cleaning the blood off her that shimmered in the sun. Who is this girl...? She doesn't even have normal blood. It's so different... His mind swam with curiosity as he stayed by her side, doing his best to help in any way he could.

"No! I refuse to go to another one of his stupid formal meetings!" Daeneryss yelled at her mother, slamming the door to her suite and twirling to the balcony. Tears welled in her eyes as she ran to the banister there, the sturdy moon-stone catching her middle and bringing her to a swift halt. Sobs made her gasp for breath, and she covered her face, unable to let the world see her in such a state. What was she doing? She didn't cry, she wasn't a crier! So why was she sobbing her eyes out? It just didn't make sense. She could handle these things, handle the constant degrading looks and derogatory tones of her father, handle the distance with which her mother always used with her. It wasn't fair. Life wasn't fair. Why couldn't just fair for once? Why couldn't she have just been born a common star instead of a constellation? "Why...? WHY?!" The word became a shriek and she slammed her fists against the stone of the railing before sliding to her knees. It wasn't fair...
A scene flashed before her eyes then, obscured but clear. A vision... It was as if the sky had spread before her sight, the milky way drawing closer and closer until finally it was all she could see. Finally, pictures started to make themselves clear to her, moving pictures. The vision was in action, but for some reason it wasn't focusing as clearly as it usually did. What's going on...? Daeneryss wondered, usually her visions were crystal clear. What had changed? She didn't have time to wonder, she needed to pay attention. The first vision was of herself lying broken in a crater, just a glimpse of this picture and then it changed. The second vision was of fangs closing around the throat of a deer, then turning on her with blood fury... For a moment there was a lull in her vision, but it soon passed and a third vision appeared though this was by far the most obscured she had ever experienced. A winged male wolf, laying beside her, cleaning what looked like blood away from her mangled figure. But that had to be wrong, she how had she become so wounded? What had happened? This had to be wrong! The dream fell away then, piece by piece. The star would never receive her answer...
Pain was the first thing the she-wolf registered upon waking. Unexplainable pain. Her wings, they had to be shattered. But what had happened? Why was this pain so unbearable? You fell. The answer was clear and unquestionable in Daeneryss's mind. She had fallen, it explained everything. The pain, her current form, the pain... With a shuddering gasp of air, the she-wolf became animate. Her slender form glowed in the moonlight, both with the reflection of her fur and from some unseen source within her: the magic of stars. "Who....Who are you....?" She asked, fear and pain obvious in those forced words, the crystalline purity of her voice sounding like music in this world of mortals. But the weakness in her lyric, the brokenness to her otherworldly beauty, betrayed a sense of delerium she was unable to hide. Something had shattered within her, something more precious than any bone...

(OOC: Of course =P. I see no problem in it.)
At first Al thought she would wake up soon after he had slowly finished cleaning her off. But seconds turned to minutes, then hours. Before long the entire day had crept by slowly. The entire time this wolf seemed to just lay there, unconscious and showing no signs of waking up. It made his heart ache to see another in such a condition being as gentle as he was. There were moments he even began to wonder if she would even make it or wake up within a few days. Even having not eaten anything since mid-morning, the moon now appearing in the sky as the sun set beyond the horizon, he didn't seem to care or even think about hunger. The only thing in his mind that he had to worry about was protecting the currently defenseless wolfess he lay next to. Should any other creature in this wild come upon her, they'd more than likely attack in search of a meal more than anything. Darker and darker the sky grew as he waited for her to wake from her sleep. A small sigh escaping his mouth as he shook his head, still clinging to the hope she would awaken soon so he might be able to learn about her and protect her better until she was well again. But as he lay there watching out over the field to make sure no intruders were trying to sneak up on them, he noticed quite clearly the glow of her fur in the moonlight. An almost surreal glow that captivated him as he wondered what it was that made her fur shimmer in such a way.
His curiosity seemed to know no bounds when it came to this wolfess. How her fur shimmered and glowed the way it did, why her blood looked and most certainly tasted completely different from anything else he had ever known, what her name was or where she had come or possibly fallen from. His mind swam with thoughts as he kept a careful lookout until she seemed to stir and move. It was at that point he looked down at her with hopeful eyes as she finally spoke. Just a single question escaping her lips. Who are you? His mind seemed to freeze upon hearing her voice. The absolute purity it held within was nothing short of remarkable to hear. It took him a few moments to gather his wits about him again but he did manage to answer her with a smile. "My name is Alastolan. You've been asleep for the whole day up until now. I tried my best to clean up your wounds from your fall but your wings.... they're broken pretty bad. I managed to get them into their natural position but they need to be healed." He paused for a moment with a small sigh. "Unfortunately I'm no healer so I can't help you with that..." His voice trailed off in a slightly apologetic manner as he felt bad about not being able to help more than he was able to. "What is your name? I would like to at least know what to call the one under my protection for now."

Daeneryss lifted her head, slowly and carefully as if just that small movement took a large amount of thought and precision. She was so weak, so weak... Even thinking seemed to take an unfathomable sum of energy. What had she done to use this much of her life source? What had she done? Was it the fall or something else? Her head spun with vertigo and dropped back to the ground with a muffled thud. All the while, the words of the winged male beside her roiling and contorting in her aching head. Please be silent... Be silent.... The words were right on her tongue, but for some reason they just wouldn't make themselves heard. Had she used so much of her energy that she couldn't even perform the simple task of speaking?
The male, what had he said his name was? Alastolan? Yes, that sounded right. Alastolan's voice trailed off then and the fae had to wonder if he had read her mind. That's foolish.. Some rational part of her mind chastised, but the majority of the she-wolf's conscious was in awe of this wolf for his obvious telepathy. "What is your name? I would like to at least know what to call the one under my protection for now." He was protecting her? Daeneryss's eyes rolled to look at the male, the kind look of his face, the concerned droop to his eyes. He was protecting her? "My name... My name...." She muttered, the word for some reason clinging to her tongue and refusing to be spoken. The femme knew her name, knew it as she knew herself. Why was it so difficult to simply let this wolf know it as well? Something drew her eyes to the sky as an orb of flame streaked across the blue backdrop. "Comet..." She said wonderingly, her eyes glued to the white hot object as her head raised from the hard ground.
A strange thing would happen then, her wings would begin to glow with an almost unbearable level of brightness as a low humming noise would fill the air. Her wings would seem to vibrate, the noise appearing to come from within the limbs themselves. The buzzing would grow louder, the light brighter, and the violent quivering more visible. However, if the wolfess noticed even one of these things she made no sign of acknowledgment, those pale moonlit eyes now glowing as well though not even this could break her gaze. Daeneryss stared and stared as if her world had been consumed by the shimmering thing. Finally, the spectacle ended, vanishing as the comet sailed away. Perhaps he would take that to be her name, Comet. After all she had said it directly after his question hadn't she? Turning back to Alastolan, a blank look filled her moonlit eyes, their glow having vanished with the flying rock. "Comet." She said again, the world simply falling from her mouth as if this was how one held conversation.
Dizziness abruptly struck Daeneryss once again and her skull thudded back to the charred earth. The comet had worked with her magic, intensifying it so much that her wings had been healed in a matter of minutes, but not even the comet could heal the gem which had shattered within her; the shards of it scattered throughout the thousands of layers of her subconscious. Her eyelids become heavy suddenly, closing almost of their own accord. Echaustion overtook the defeated fae, the healing having taken more out of her than first assumed.

(OOC: of course =P)
Alastolan sat in silence as he waited for a response and upon hearing the word comet, he believed that to be her name at first. Until he noticed where her gaze lay and looked up to see it himself. But of course his gaze was quickly drawn back down to the ground as that sudden intense light seemed to shine so bright he could barely look at it. Although easier to see through squinted eyes it was still almost unbearable. What in the heck...?? The humming too. It was so loud at this point he was surprised every creature in the field couldn't hear it. And almost as quickly as it had happened, it ended. Al sat almost dumbfounded with his head cocked to the side a bit blinking a few times. Just what kind of creature ARE you...? his mind wondered. He just couldn't figure her out. Never before had he seen a wolf as strangely unique as her. He let out a sigh and shook his head as he noticed her pass out once again. Poor girl.... seems like she's been through quite a lot lately... I'll just wait until she's in a more stable condition before trying to ask her anything. And with that thought he simply remained by her side, laying his head down on the ground to rest a bit himself. He could tell this was going to be a long night having to keep watch over someone in such a weakened state but he didn't mind it all that much. After all, helping was one thing he tried his best to do.

The night was a cool one, a gentle breeze twining it's fingers into Daeneryss's thick coat as she lay beside the winged male. She dreamed of him, or at least she hoped it was a dream. Glaring fangs, bloody fur, feathers driftig slowly to rest in a puddle of thick scarlet liquid. It was like a scene from a horror story. At least what she could see of it was. Whose blood was it? Who had gotten attacked or was it even from a fight at all? Were they in trouble? Did they need help? The fae woke up trembling with these questions reeling through her mind; half crazed with fear from her night terrors.
The world had been painted a hazy blue, the stars twinkling above as if she had never left them. A sobering though to know one isn't missed. It sent a twinge of pain through the femme's heart just to think about it. Her family would be happy and laughing..or would they be looking for her? Had they even noticed her absence yet? Surely they had...
"Oh!" Daeneryss exclaimed at the sight of another beside her. Her silvery blue eyes, oddly reminiscent to the glow of the moon, widened with surprise and awe. Here was a real live wolf! Right beside her! You are a wolf. A voice whispered simply, that of reason perhaps? Still, the young star couldn't help but look at herself and give a little giggle of delight. She was a wolf! While a part of her sighed an shook its head, the other more excitable side was jumping up and down. While neither were outwardly shown, she decided to go with the latter and try to be happy about her predicament.
Finally, her eyes darted back up to the male and she gave a shy smile. "Alastolan." Daeneryss said, a lilting voice like the rays of starlight which danced from the heavens. Her eyes glowed faintly with the word before once more returning to normal. "Why you did stay here?" She asked him, each word spoke delicately even if the syntax had been butchered. She spoke as if this were a second language, the words jumbling up off her tongue. It wasn't on purpose, the shattered being didn't even realize her mistake. She thought they words correctly, but they somehow twisted around in her mouth to sound like child-speak.
