"W-W-When I said I wanted to learn to fly, I-I am pretty sure I didn't say that I-I wanted to kill myself..." Rina, she was small, still growing, stood on a tall branch of the tall tree looking down. She had flown up here, but now she had to fly down. Though, her wings were frozen and she couldn't move. All she could do was stare at the ground that seemed to get farther and farther away. Her eyes were wide with fear, she couldn't move. She had decided that it was finally time to get use to her wings, there was a small doe that she had caught by using her darkness that would supply her with food for a few days, if no one else came.
The two foot small femme had black hair that shown blue, her tail was orange and she had an orange tuft on her head. Her eyes are black with blue highlights in them. Rina had traveled on her own, she was young, almost too young to be out by herself. She often hated talking and avoided others, she didn't like wolves and wished them to stay away.
She wished someone would come now, though she was probably alone all the way up here. No one would ever now she existed, and she would die up here, turn to bones and then one day fall to the ground on an expecting wolf. Or, maybe a wolf would have the same stupid idea she had to learn flying. They would see her bones here and know that they were now stuck up here forever.
Rina didn't want to die. She rose her head to the air, letting out a howl that first was broken from fear that rose into a howl of panic. "Help, someone, please, help me!" She cried out, hoping someone would hear her. Her wings were long gone in the wing. The only thing that remained was Rina stuck on a branch, hoping someone would save her.

((OoC: Mind if I cut in?))
The scent of wolves was heavy in this place. Acala swung her scaled tail absently behind her, the sun light reflecting off the crystalline surface. Somehow she had wandered into the territory of a pack, though she was not sure which one.
She had come a long way from the floating island she had been staying on and the flight had tired her out. She was too old for such feats.
Acala stopped where she was and stretched out her wings, the old bones popping and creaking. After a quick look around she continued forward. She did not want to stay here for too long, lest one of the pack report her presence, if they had not done so already. The last thing she wanted was a confrontation with the wolves, especially from this area. From the scent, it seemed there was far more wolves native to this territory than she cared to count.
After a few more paces, Acala stopped. There was a wolf nearby. she lifted her massive head, and lo-and-behold, there, up in a tree, was a small winged wolf.
Her first thought was scout, and that she should move, but a a longer look revealed something. The wolf up in the tree was shaking like a leaf in a hurricane. Poor thing, she thought to herself. Was she scared because there was a dragon in the pack land, or because it was so high up in the tree?
Not sure of the reason for the little ones fear, she called softly and reassuringly "Do not be afraid, child."

((OOC: Tee hee nope, sorry, I forgot to put 'open'. XD))
Something flickered into her view, it was, for all she knew, a large winged lizard. Her mouth dropped open, she saw it was staring up at her, perhaps, maybe....
'Do not be afraid, child.' Yes! Would she help her? Her voice was caught in her through, and the land below her seemed to be far away. "Please... c-can you help me down?" Her voice was as small as she was, her ears flattened, true fear burning in her eyes.
She had no idea what was below her, and she hoped, she just hoped that the large lizard would help her. She couldn't muster up the courage to introduce herself, but she could explain her situation. "I-I... wanted to practice flying a-and I-" Her voice was cut short as wind shook the tree. She yelped, her wolf claws trying to dig into the tree to keep her up. The tree would now forever remember her from the amount of claw marks in it. She was halfway still on the branch, trying to get back up, fear in the pit of her stomach, she hated being afraid.

Sanka came bursting into the scene ready for a fight. Upon hearing the cry of the femme who had stupidly got herself stuck in a tree. Stupid winged wolves. When will they learn that the sky is no place for a wolf? Upon his grand entrance he noticed a large winged dragon. He bowed his head in respect, remembering another dragon he had once met; sadly he could not remember his name. He wasn't worried about being attacked by the large creature, for one he was pretty sure he could out maneuver it long enough to escape, and there was always the fact that as far as Sanka knew every dragon in the world was peaceful.
Disappointed that there was clearly going to be no fight here Sanka turned himself to the tiny winged wolf who had found her way into a tree. "Frightening isn't it?" he called up. "Surely you must understand now that the sky is no place for a wolf. Do you think a bird, a creature made specifically for flight, is scared when it takes it first flight? Now come down here and let me rid you of those wings!" he said grinning.

Acala heard the approach of the other wolf, felt it in the earth. She was able to say, just before he entered, "I will help you." The male's entrance and stance indicating his readiness for a fight.
However upon seeing her he stood down and bowed his head. He at least seemed respectful. That idea, though, was put to rest when he opened his mouth. His words made her look at him. Really look at him. How could he threaten to take away one's wings? Especially those of such a young wolf. True she did not fly much herself, but that was due to old age. She flew endlessly in her youth and the feeling was indescribable to anyone who had the misfortune of being born without the extra two limbs.
Acala's face remained as neutral as one who watches water seep into the ground after rain. Her expression revealed nothing as she spoke to the male below her." You no not of what you speak, little one."She hoped that would wipe the smug grin off his face. After so many centuries, she didn't care much for letting such a comment slip by her attention. 'let me rid you of those wings' Such violent cruelty from these beings. The again, she had meet courser mannered wolves before.

Shock rippled through Rina, she wasn't sure if she wanted to go down again, if that wolf was threatening to take of her wings. Her eyes watered for a different reason, without her wings she wouldn't of been able to get away from those wolves... She shook off the thought and decided to get a hold of herself. She breathed in slowly, then out slowly. "H-How... can I get down?" She asked, thoughts passing through her head, Would she catch me? Would I just climb down on her? Will she help me with my wings?
Rina looked down at the wolf below her, she wanted to glare, or do something to wipe that look off his face! She could feel the shadow power in her, she could feel a surge of energy fill her as if the darkness wanted to get out and be free. Though, she suddenly forbid herself from doing it, she didn't want to, not until she could fully control it. The young wolf often thought that it was her dark heart that got her these dark powers.
Her dark blue eyes glanced a little higher to the large lizard, she would ask questions later about who, and what they were, or at least the lizard. Rina could almost grin, but she didn't, after letting her thoughts wander was much she wasn't that afraid anymore. As if to say that she was still afraid, her stomach twisted into a knot. She cleared her throat and she flattened her ears. Her dark blue eyes full of worry, and a hint of irritation.

"Oh but i do wise one." he said kindly to the dragon not making eye contact but instead focusing in the wolf stuck in the tree. He watched he carefully, as though he were waiting for the limb to break and for her to try her new wings. Or maybe she'd just tumble and land with a thud in the earth below her.
Then he began thinking, maybe the dragon was right. Maybe he didn't know what he was talking about and wolves WERE meant to take to the air. It's not something he believed but it was worth putting to the test. Luckily he had the perfect test subject waiting for him in a tree. He waited to see whether or not she 'd spread her wings and leap from the branch she had perched herself on.
Sanka listened to the branch creak with the her weight as a light gust of wind made its way through the treetops. His muscles trembled with excitement. If she did indeed fly then maybe the dragon was right and winged wolves are just another one of natures many creations. Getting impatient he called up at her again, "Try them out yourself of i'll blow up the branch your standing on and force you to fly." he said.

This male's ignorance knew no bounds. She turned away from him and focused on the little female in the tree instead. Again she said to her, "I will help you, but you must do exactly as I say, understand?"
With the males second comment she grew a tad more annoyed with him. Of course her exterior composer never faltered, though. Ignoring him, she swung her tail behind her and shifted her wings. If the little female was ready, truly ready, Acala would teach her to fly.
Whether or not the wolf in the tree understood, Acala went on to say"The key to flying, young one, is not to fear death, but embrace it."Acala's face softened ever so slightly."Fear in flight will kill you. You have no reason to fear. You are young and your wings are healthy and strong. Do not even think. She lowered her voice, speaking softly only to the female."Open your wings and jump to the wind."
