Troublesome pups

"Hurry up Storm before mom notices we are gone." "Uhh... but mom said not to leave the area below the hollow." Maliha huffed, "Don't you ever like to have fun." Storm barked,"I like to have fun!" "Well stop complaining and lets play." Maliha giggled and tagged Storm on the shoulder and ran off towards the creek. Storm giggled and ran off after her.

Reaching the creek first, Maliha fluffed up her black fur and walked to the edge of the creek, the water lapping at her tiny paws. With a deep breath Maliha began to walk into the creek, the cold water flattened her black fur. She wanted to swim, though she knew she couldn't.

Reaching the creek, Storm gasped, "Maliha! You know we can't swim yet!" Storm bolted down to the edge of the water.

Maliha's ears pricked as she heard her brothers bark. "Ok, ok, I'm coming back." Maliha walked back up onto shore.

Storm walked around his sister. "You are soaking wet, we better head back to the hollow before you catch a cold." Storm pressed against his sister to try and help her warm up.

Maliha huffed, "I'm not gonna catch a cold you fur ball." Standing up Maliha shook her fur dry.

Vyrn's low, warm voice echod from everywhere around them, even as the black wolf faded into veiw, lying on a flat, sun-warmed rock a few feet away.[/glow]

Maliha's ears pricked as her father's voice sounded all around them. "Hey dad... Eh heh heh heh...."Maliha walked over to her dad and sat down.

"Um..dad when is Luna gonna be able to play with us?" Storm barked as he sat beside his sister.

Maliha jumped up and barked, "Yeah when is she gonna be able to play?" In her excitement Maliha accidentally stepped on Storm's tail.

"Ow! Watch were you set your paws!" Storm barked as he playfully hit her ear with his paw.

The voice that had interupted Vyrn was the sweet, gentle one belonging to the pups' sister, and yet... wasn't. It sounded older, somehow. More mature.
And right next to them, even though no-one else was visible.[/glow]

“Luna"! Maliha grinned at the sound of her sister's voice.
"Luna, come out and play!"Maliha barked as she danced around Storm.

Storm smiled at the sound of his sister's voice."Yeah Luna,come out and play!"Storm excitedly danced around with Maliha.

[glow=blue,2,800]"I've... changed, a bit." Lunara said, suddenly sounding a bit nervous.
"I don't look anything like I used to..."[/glow]

"Luna your are sister and we don't care what you look like!!!" Maliha and Storm barked in unison.

"Now show yourself and lets play hide and seek or tag like we use too before you went training with dad!" Maliha barked excitedly as she ran around their brother, this time careful not to step on his tail.
Storm giggled and ran around with his sister, "Yeah, show yourself and lets play, but no hide and seek cause you win everytime." Storm giggled again, more excited then he and Maliha was when Luna was well enough to play 'before'.

Again, her voice betrayed her unease. Even so, a dark figure waivered into view a few feet away.

Lunara looked more than a bit different. She stood four feet tall at the shoulder, with long, feathered wings that were the same glossy black as her fur. Her claws had become blade-like talons, and her tail, now some five feet long, was tipped with a jagged twelve-inch blade. The silver markings on her muzzle were gone as well, and her eyes now had horizontally-slit pupils, although they retained their deep amber color.
Her wings rustled a bit as she shifted nervously, awaiting her siblings' reactions.[/glow]

Maliha smiled and ran up to her sister and tagged her in the shoulder. [glow=red,2,300]"YOUR IT!!!!" [/glow]she yelled as she bounded away, giggling.

Storm giggled and bounded after Maliha, chanting, [glow=green,2,300]"Luna's it!!!!!"[/glow]
