Biography:
"The Tale You Were In"
"Come on Tai! We'll be late for the tribe gathering!"
A young male wolf called to her, impatience making his voice sound slightly annoyed.
"I'm coming Ten! Jeez, if you didn't decide to play so far from the tribe, we wouldn't be running late!"
Tai snapped at Ten, the male while she pushed harder to pick up the pace. The night was young, and the time had come once again as it had every hundred years. The great sealing was upon them once again, and as it was before, they gathered to summon their powers t o perform a spell. Panting, Tai and her brother Ten, had reached the outskirts of the village.
"If you were any slower, I think it would be over by the time we get there fatty!"
Her brother teased, flailing his tail high in the air, mocking her.
Puffing her face out, Tai picked up the pace even more, now by her brothers side. They were just a few moments away now. Orize, their father, was the first to spot them.
"Where the hell were you two, the rest of the family is awaiting by the great fire. The elders have already gathered."
He scolded, a slight crinkle in his maw from anger.
"Your mother will be disappointed in you two, you know you two need to perform the divian dance."
He added, turning to make his way to the gathering.
"Its all your fault Ten!"
Tai whined to her brother, her ears and tail held low as they followed their father to the gathering.
At the great fire, the great elder stood watch in his throne. Raising his paw for all to see, He took a deep breath and began.
Long ago, when we were still young, and in infancy... Ignorant, and arrogant in our ways, we proceeded to control and reak havok upon the lands as we saw fit. Feeding the darkness within our own hearts, we grew greedy with desire. A lone wolf one day, came across a faint, weak voice... It cried out for help. Being fair hearted, the young wolf followed the voice deep into the forest. What the wolf had beheld upon arriving, was a small glowing light atop a great altar.
"Im am beautiful, do you not think so?"
The voice whispered to the wolf, flickering atop the altar. the wolf nodded, for it was indeed beautiful, yet mysterious.
"What are you? Where are you? Why are you here?"
The young wolf asked, taking a step closer.
"I am you... and me, and all.... I am within you, and within every other. I love, I hate, I envy, and I Desire...."
The voice added, glowing more brightly now.
"Do you desire?... "
The voice asked.
"Yes, I desire the ability to do whatever I want to do, to help others and be strong for them!"
He admitted, standing tall full of purpose and valor. he stared deeply into the light, almost beginning to hang on its every word.
"I see.... So you desire power.... To be strong."
"Yes mystic light, I do."
What are you willing to do for me, shall I grant you this power you so desire?"
"What is it you desire oh mythic being? Tell me and I shall make true!"
The young wolf so promised, not realizing that his deal would be binding...
Tai's eyes grew wide as the elder told the tale, her own mind lost deep within the story.
"What I desire, is to be freed from this place.... I am a prisoner..."
The voice uttered, its bright flaring orb floating off the altar closer to the young wolf.
"Will you save me oh brave young wolf? Will you be the one who will set me free, and rise to glory?"
"Yes! Anything to protect the ones I love..."
The young wolf swore, taking in a deep breath and standing tall.
"I shall protect you.... And give you strength for the ones you love... this I promise."
The spirit swore, burning brightly now. Getting larger in size.
Tai hung off every word, her mouth slightly gaping as her hairs stood on ends.
"Do you believe this tale is real Ten?"
"Well, I don't know, maybe its a tale to keep all the kids spooked and scared."
Her brother sneered silently, before being scolded by their father to listen.
"In order to be freed, I need something from you..."
The spirit asked, glowing brightly in front of the young wolf.
"What do you need? Tell me?"
"You must invite me out there, and hear my story..... Listen to my voice..... my song, and I shall do as you desire oh brave warrior..."
The spirit implied, hanging just behind the runes and writings on the floor.
Swallowing hard, the young wolf agreed, Licking his lips before he replied.
"Yes, I will.... I .... How do I do that? What is your name being?"
"Ovonel..."
The spirit replied.
"Say as I say wolf...."
The young wolf nodded nervously.
"Ovonel, sleep no more... Awaken and be released upon the lands forevermore. I release you from your curse. Ovonel, oh Ovonel of the realm, rise up from the ashes and be born again... Born, unto me."
The young wolf repeated, awaiting Ovonel.
"Yesss..."
The spirit hissed, as the seal broke, exploding into a shower of lights. Amazed, the wolf stood and stared in awe as Ovonel grew. It turned from a small blue-white flame to a huge dark energy, a heavy miasma enveloping the area around them.
"Whats going on here?! Whats happening? Ovonel?!"
The young wolf exclaimed, feeling frightened and confused.
"At long last, I am free!..."
The spirit howled, its true form taking form before the young wolf. A huge beast, floating before him.
"And now, the time has come for you my young creature...."
"What are you talking about?! What about our promise?"
The young wolf, who was once so sure and proud was now filled with fear and doubt. The gream demon spoke, and wove a spell in the form of a hypnotic song. No one knows what the song is, no one has ever lived to tell it...
The elder spoke, looking to his fellow wolves, closing his eyes.
The demon possessed the young wolf.... It lied to him to gain freedom. For what the young wolf did not know, was that Ovonel was a DiviDemon, a divine spirit that had fallen to darkness... Sealed, long ago, before this cycle began... Of all demons, they are most powerful, able to cause great calamities and leave disaster in their wake. They are almost impossible to destroy. So long as they have an anchor in this realm, they can never be destroyed... So, it reaked havok across the lands, almost wiping us out completely.... A remaining few were able to figure out how to expell the demon from the young wolf, but was never able to defeat it. You see, its anchor was already established, within the young wolfs bloodline. Although the young wolf died, his ancestors remained as anchors for the spirit to live through. Ovonel's essence was sealed away in a cave deep within the forbidden caves outside our village. As long as the anchor is kept away from the cave, Ovonel is powerless. But every hundred years or so, Ovonel gains enough power, and must be resealed again.
The elder finished, motioning for Tain and her brother Ten, to perform the ceremonial dance of the ages. As they made their way to the center of the wolves, they took starting positions. their parents and all the villagers watched as they danced and lights poured down from the skies, forming a seal beneath their feet. After about an hour the ceremony was over, and the two siblings were about playing with their friends.
"Hey, wanna go checkout the forbidden cave you guys?"
One of their friends asked.
"No!, its forbidden, no one knows who the anchor is..."
Tai exclaimed, a small frown forming on her face.
"Aww your a scaredy fluff! You actually believe that crap?"
Their friend teased.
"Shutup, don't tease my sister like that!"
Ten retailitaed, his tail rising high.
"Stop fighting everyone! who cares if its true or not?"
Tai tried to quiet the boys, hoping there would be no fighting.
"Well, don't you want to know? I mean, why be scared if you dont have to and its not real?"
Their friend stated, wagging his tail and motioning for them to join him.
"Well, I'm not going, you two can if you want to...."
Tai murmured, she was too afraid.
"Ok well I'm gonna go Tai, I'll see you later okay?"
Her brother smiled, then ran off with their friend.
Later on that night, it was well past bedtime, and her brother had not yet come home. Tai was getting worried. Finally her concern overrode her fear and she made her way to the cave. shaking, she made her way to the entrance.
"BOO!"
A loud voice thundered from within the caves.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Tai screamed, falling to the floor and hiding her face in her paws.
"Hahahaha, gotcha good didn't I?"
Her friend and her brother jumped out from behing a rock inside the cave.
"That was NOT funny!"
Tai snapped at them, her hackles rising.
"Okay okay, sorry just come on its way cool in here!"
Her brother urged, motioning for her to join them.
"Okay, fine, just hurry up I want to go home!"
She whined uneasily, then followed them into the mouth of the cave. Upon entering, Tai had a wierd feeling. Her chest was pounding, and she was anxious. As they got deeper, the feeling got more intense. It was almost unbearable at that point.
"Okay, I seriously want to leave I don't have a good feeling about this. Look theres nothing here, lets go!"
She whined, hiding behind her brother.
"Whoah, look at that!"
Their friend gawked, coming to a huge stone door with runes all over it.

"Whoah, look at that!"
Their friend gawked, coming to a huge stone door with runes all over it.
Tai...
She jumped, looking around.
"Did anyone hear that?"
"Hear what? stop being a chicken."
"I am not!"
"Are too sissy sissy scaredy fluff."
Her friend teased.
"I'll show you I'm not scared, i'm gonna touch the door!"
Tai exclaimed, making her way to the large stone door, and putting her paw on it.
"See?!"
Suddenly, the whole cave shook, and the door slowly started to open.
"Whoa...."
Ten gawked. And at that very moment, the shaking disrupted the cave system, and it began to collapse behind them.
"Run into the door!"
Their friend yelled, sprinting past them.
"AHHHHHH!"
Tai yelled, as she raced past the door and ran.
The rocks collapsed the exit behind them, sealing them in. Coughing, dazed and startled, the young wolves kept close.
"W-what are we gonna do n-now?"
Ten shuddered, looking around.
"We're trapped."
While the two boys were cowering, Tai was lost, deep within the chamber. She had ran far past them, and was in a large room with a very old statue with writings all over everything.
"Okay, okay. Focus Tai.... you can do this, we're gonna get out."
She told herself repeatedly, only stopping upon hearing a faint voice. It was wierd, but strangely familiar. Almost, as if it was everywhere, even inside her.
Come to me Tai....
Suddenly, the room was filled with a thick atmosphere. Tai's head began to pound, her knees buckling as she began to feel weak, faint.
"Uhhnn..."
She moaned, as she collapsed onto the ground, her eyes dazed and distant.
"What......is.... happening.... to me?....."
She bit through her teeth, struggling against herself to get up and run.
Tai..... You are mine... And you are of me.... As I of you...
Tai whined, writhin in pain on the ground as shperes of light began to appear all over the room.
"Stop it... What..... Who are you?..."
I am me.... I am you.... We.... Are destined to one another.... And now, the time has finally come my dear....
"Huh... The time for....?.......!!!"
Suddenly, there was a melody, low at first, then it grew:
If you are near to the dark
I will tell you 'bout the sun
You are here, no escape
From my visions of the world
You will cry all alone
But it does not mean a thing to me
Knowing the song I will sing
Till the darkness comes to sleep
Come to me, I will tell
'Bout the secret of the sun
It's in you, not in me
But it does not mean a thing to you
The sun is in your eyes
The sun is in your ears
I hope you see the sun
Someday in the darkness
The sun is in your eyes
The sun is in your ears
But you can't see the sun
Ever in the darkness
It does not much matter to me
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!"
Tai screamed, echoing through the caves.
"Thats Tai!!!"
Ten shouted rising to his feet, listening intently.
"Its coming from down that way!"
He told his friend as they scampered towards her voice.
Meanwhile, Tai was down, pain coursing through her. Like fire burning through her veins. The statue began to glow bright red, a light shooting out to Tai. She screamed in agony, bright symbols burning as they surfaced on her. She gasped, feeling an immense pressure from within her.
"Tai!"
Her brother called out to her, frightened from what he was seeing.
"What the hell is that?"
Their friend whined, hiding behind Ten.
"Taiiiiii~!"
Ten shouted, running to her.
"No!"
Tai managed to utter, looking to him. She looked pale, and faint. It was obvious she was fading fast. When she tried to speak again, an immense wave of pain stopped her, and a thunderous roar could be heard across the lands.
"Oh my god...."
Ten choked, realizing what was happening before him.
"Ovonel was never in the cave...."
He looked to his friend.
"Ovonel was inside of Tai.... And the seal was not in here, it was in Tai...."
He looked to his sister.
"This cave, this statue, is a barrier....... The anchor was not allowed in here, because this barrier kept Ovonel trapped here... In this village.... And the dance was...."
Ten's eyes widened.
"And the dance was for what?!"
His friend screamed, frightened beyond sanity.
Ten's legs buckled, and he fell to a sit as everything sunk in.
"The dance was to strengthen the seal.... and the barrier but.... Now that Tai is down here, Ovonel is close enough to destroy the barrier... Its a symbiotic relationship, the seal and the barrier... If one breaks.... so will the other..."
"AAARRRGGH!!"
Tai screamed, her body rising of the floor, floating high in the room.
"Ten..... No...."
Tai choked, tears filling her eyes. Her body became engulfed in a reddish white fire, electric sparks flying from her. Her tail began to scorch white, and she developed white brows. Then as soon as they turned with everything reversed, her tail turned black, and her body scorched to white in a burst of fiery flames.
Ten stood in awe at the spectacle before him, he held his breath.
"Ovonel..."
Tai's eyes opened, a myriad of colors burning within her fiery orbs of pure rage and evil.
Ten-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGHHHH~!"
A huge explosion rocked the lands. The last thing anyone saw, was a huge black wave of destruction that obliterated all in its path.
Hours later, Tai awoke to find everything around her decimated. In shock, she scrambled to her feet, taking in everything.
"What... happened?"
She cried, looking around.
"TEEEEEEEEEEEEN! MOOOOOOOOOOOM! DAAAAAAAAAAAD!!! Where are you?!"
She tried to think, her memory was fuzzy. Her head hurt, her body was sore. She was a mess. Shaking her head to regain some sense, she ran off to the nearest water to drink. Upon looking at the water she noticed a horrible truth. Her fur was soaked with blood and dirt. Shocked, she freaked out, trying to rub it off on everything. Looking back to the water, she stared into her own eyes. Suddenly, Ovolons face appeared and roared at her from the water. She screamed, everything coming back to her. She collapsed, weeping so hard her eyes burned.
"No.... It can't be... I didn't....."
Her whole body shook violently, she was in shock. Broken, she looked to the dark starry night, her crushed howls echoed throughout the lands and split the skies that night.
