Things had most certainly gotten complicated all of a sudden... or perhaps that was an understatement. She welcomed Mikuto to an extent, he obviously was of no threat. She found it somewhat ironic that every time she came across trespassers another of the pack seemed to appear also in a protective sort of way. But the chance to be courteous had passed. Perhaps it was a natural transformation, but it had hardly been brought on for no reason. She assumed Lunara stayed in pup form unless provoked otherwise and that this other female had been threatening enough.
Mascamora stood a little taller now, raising her head and tail displaying her full height of nearly six feet and glared downwards. "Natural change or not, this has escalated far enough." Mascamora could care less if a werewolf or one with a human form came here or not. Afterall, such characteristics did run in her family, though she didn't have it. However, given this female did have a wolf form, and she had chosen to reveal herself as such, she was a trespasser, and had also poised herself in a threat-like fashion, as Mascamora had seen it, anyway. "State your purpose, human, or leave."
She then looked to Lunara. She understood her situation, true enough... but, "Lunara, I believe you are not here with the intention of stirring up trouble, and as such you have no place displaying yourself in such a fashion on pack territory. I do not wish to attack or forcefully kick anyone out unless it is necessary," she said the last part toward Rosie as well. She supposed under the current pack era, it was not entirely unwelcome for others to come so long as they did not pose a threat. In this case, such was uncertain and she would not tolerate it.

[glow=blue,2,800]"I meant no disrespect to you, Mascamora. Just a precaution against her, in case she should prove a threat." She flicked her tail in Rosie's direction, the blade at the tip hissing as it cut the air. "In any case, I'd rather not shift back to my wolf form," She added with a wry grin, looking up at the two druin. "At least this way I don't feel quite so small."[/glow]

Mikuto relaxed slightly. Perhaps Lunara wasn't dangerous after all. But still he remained on his guard. You never know. But it is also true that there was no reason to discriminate against her for her power. He found it rather fascinating. "There are worse things than being small." He commented coolly. "At least you're not a blind hybrid monstrosity like me." There was a clear bitterness in his tone when he spoke this last part. Even he was taken aback by his words. He shrank back in shame, scratching at his non-existent eye once again. 'There you go again.' He scolded himself inwardly. 'Making a total ass of yourself. And I wonder why no one likes me!'

Rosie looked at Lunara and felt offended by what she said. "So being a werewolf makes me the ultimate threat does it?" Rosie lifted her head revealing a smirk but not a happy one. "My purpose? I just like wandering or is that not enough for you princess." Rosie really did not like this wolf but she had the power to banish her. "If you really want the truth, well here it is. I'm searching for killed my brother many years ago and I have been searching everywhere except here. Happy now?" Rosie sat down and watched the wolves, thinking about which ones should she mark as threats. Lunara obviously hated her, but the princess was just asking about her purpose. Mikuto didn't seem to care so he was not a threat. Rosie decided to be extra careful around Lunara. After all, a battle could break out and Roise knew who would win.

Mascamora frowned, disliking the hostility in each voice. If the werewolf did seek the others to suddenly sympathize and feel guilty for their reaction to her, she wasn't going to get it from Mascamora. "Hardly," she said to Rosie's question of if being a werewolf made her a threat. "What makes you so threatening was the manner in which you chose to approach. Circling, the words you spoke."
She paused, listening as the werewolf explained her purpose. She wanted to answer that it wasn't enough to just like wandering, since if such wandering meant encroaching on pack lands, it was only her duty to stop and question her. But the princess hesitated her response as Rosie continued in more detail. "Fair enough to be searching for a loved one, but clearly your brother is not in this particular spot nor are any of us responsible for your loss."
She paused once more, contemplating her next sentence. "I have it within my power to help you find your kin, if you truly suspect he died within my territory. But I forbid you to simply wander about Giaku freely. If you will accept my aid, you will be given passage until your leave. Otherwise, I will personally make sure your stay is unwelcome and short."

(Ok, if you say so.) Mikuto snapped back to attention, teeth bared once more. The way Rosie spoke to the Princess was unacceptable! "You WILL NOT speak to Mascamora in such a manner!" the scout growled. "She is royalty, show the proper respect!" Mikuto scolded himself for relaxing. He was to always be on his guard! He knew Mascamora did not really NEED to be protected. She could whip his tail without even trying. But that was not the point. Courtesy dictated that he be her protector if the need arose, and he always did his duty.

Rosie eyed each wolf and stopped readying herself for an attack. She looked at Mascamora and spoke with sadness. "My brother died in my hands. I am just searching." She looked down, then rose her head again. "I'M SEARCHING FOR THE DIRTY, WORTHLESS, MERCILESS MURDERER WHO KILLED WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT!" Rosie looked into Mascamora's eyes with hardness in her own eyes. She was fighting to keep tears from springing to her eyes. Rosie ignored Mikuto's cries of protest and sat down, plucking some grass and fiddling with it. "Lunara, why do you hate me so? Is it because I am human?" Rosie was determined to find out why Lunara disliked her. After all, she hadn't done anything to her, right?

The white Druiness was known for her dislike of strangers and intruders on the Giaku packlands. She was harsh, unforgiving, and typically aggressive. But this was definitely a unique scenario. For one, she could identify with the loss of a loved one - even if she hadn't been there when he died. And for that she would never make fun of one suffering such a loss. But on the same token, she refused to allow anyone to speak to her with disrespect. She could understand anger, passion to find someone. She wasn't quite sure how to gauge the intent in Rosie's eyes. Clearly, she was bent on finding whoever killed her brother. But she was uncertain if there was a hint of rebellion in those eyes. She sensed it, a willingness to do whatever it took. That was fine with Mascamora, for she had a sense of that within herself toward other things. However, the timing in which she spoke it, after Mascamora had extended her paw, graciously, to help her, screamed that she didn't care she was violating the laws of the land. And that was worthy of punishment, if it were the case.
Her own eyes were hard, and her lips curled back, a low growl rumbling deep within her throat, the temptation to throw herself at this werewolf strong. Perhaps she had allowed this female too much tolerance already. But perhaps not. She was clearly emotionally - and perhaps otherwise - unstable. She was not so unfamiliar with that either. Or perhaps it was the case that this female was trying to manipulate them, trying to draw them into some reaction. She didn't know.
The other turned the attention on Lunara.
The princess stepped forward once more, "It does not matter. Each is entitled to his or her own opinion for whatever reason. Come with me. You must be tired from traveling so much and searching, no?" Once again, she attempted to be hospitable. But her patience was swiftly wearing thin. Whatever this female's reasons, she was swiftly approaching how Mascamora usually was toward lone creatures.

[[Sorry about the wait.]] [glow=blue,2,800]"Are you seriously asking why I don't like you?" Lunara hissed, her hackles rising slightly. "After you treat me like I was prey?" She subsided to irate grumbling as Mascamora spoke again, offering her help a second time. The offer was more than Rosie deserved, in Lunara's oppinion, but she wouldn't argue with the princess on her home turf. It was her desision, after all; Lunara would simply have to go along with it.[/glow]
