Anyone who drew near would see a very well groomed solid brown wolf staring down at the water as if paused in place just before the action of lapping the water, his mouth remained shut and the only color or rather non-color that marred his otherwise perfect brown pelt was hidden from view.
The rivers water remained stagnant under his gaze as he stood stock-still and stared down at it as if all the answers of the world would reveal themselves to him, really all he wanted to know was; what if anything, was in store for him.
Several moments passed eerily quiet, yet nothing stirred, finally Regbur lifted his head without lapping at the waters surface. A small sigh left him as he peered around the noiseless woods he found himself in.
The sun refused to shine but the clouds didn't yet threaten rain with was good since Regbur had not yet sought a place to sleep however he would have to soon since dusk was fast approaching

Ashi was silent. watching the sun set was indeed a pleasant pastime. absentmindedly, She sniffed the air, then froze as the scent of another wolf greeted her, Ashi huffed. "Every where I go, there always has to be another..." Ashi stood and shook the leaves from her fur. If there was another wolf, she might as well meet them. She walked upstream and noticed a brown wolf staring into the still waters of the river. Ashi steps out of the trees cautiously. "Hello?" Ashi hoped he was one of those wolves that didn't judge by appearances. After all, having horns didn't promise a good judgment.

Regbur turned his head toward the voice, then shifted his body to face the femme keeping himself inline with her should he need to defend himself for any reason. Her tone however didn’t yet present any danger, Regbur looked her over, he had never seen a wolf like her before, however he was not one to judge he was neutral toward every creature he allowed others to reveal themselves to him and judge themselves for him.
He spoke revealing his teeth that were normal in appearance by wolf standard, however they were stark white and very sharp unlike a normal wolf. “Hello Milady, I am Regbur, A lone traveler if I intruded upon you, I am sorry, I’ve been distracted of late” He bowed his head offering her his regard, His tail however was slung high over his back held in a very alpha wolfish manner, he had been forced to be an omega wolf to long he was out in this world to find himself and his place within it.
Suddenly the forest sounds began to spring up around them crickets, birds, a gentle breeze, the sound to creatures scurrying in the trees close by them.

Ashi tilted her head. "Intruding? No. I'm simply a wanderer. I was just curious when I caught your scent is all." Ashi paused and looked him over. He was well spoken, but those teeth and that stance were a bit concerning. However, he didn't seem in the mood to fight, providing Ashi with a small amount of comfort. "How rude of me, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Ashi. Nice to meet you Regbur."

“Nice to meet you Milady Ashi, You must forgive my tenseness I have been traveling alone for quite sometime and my last encounter with another wolf did not go well.” Regbur smiled absently and glanced at the dirt below her paws, his smile faded into a frown more at himself then anything else.
It was then Regbur noticed her paws and traced his eyes back up her body toward her eyes. She was very beautiful in her own way, the markings upon her legs were mesmerizing. His solid brown pelt offered only one oddity, one white mark in the shape of an upside down triangle upon his chest.
“Care to travel with me for a while? At least until sun up and find shelter for the night,” as if on queue the grey cloudy sky darkening by the sun’s setting began to open up and allow a pattering of drizzling rain to kiss the earth.

((How about -- what he would be looking at when he sees her eyes. What she feels when Regbur looks into her eyes. Her response to the rain, perhaps she knows of a place to find shelter? What she's thinking about? Why she was in the woods? offer me some info of her character.
I can't really roleplay to that and I can't be reduced to one sentence posting, that is just no fun))

((okay  )) Ashi smiled warmly as he met her crimson eyes. "Sure. And I understand how that feels, believe me."It wasn't often that a wolf looked her straight in the eyes. It made Ashi feel...normal, somehow. Ashi glanced up at the rain. "We shouldn't stay out in this. We could get sick. Follow me, I know a place we can stay." She started to lead the way to the overhang she had found before. "So tell me, what are you doing around here?" |
