Appearance: At birth, Lunara looked like any other wolf pup, showing none of the traits that would later emerge to mark her as the first true-blood Shal'Dran in over a millennium. Her eyes are a vibrant amber, and she has three gray stripes along her muzzle, identical to her father's markings.
On her first new moon, however, at two weeks three days of age, her Shal'Dranic blood awakened, triggering her True Form to surface and unlocking her powers. With her new form came an eerie beauty and grace that is rivaled by few, along with powers that she is still learning to master.
Personality: While typically fun-loving and carefree around her siblings and friends, Lunara is also ferociously protective of those close to her, and will risk her life for them without a second thought.
Magic: Shadow/Fire(Note:While Lunara has awakened all her powers, being just over seven months old, they have not reached their full potential just yet. It will be some time before she masters them.)

-Shadow-Gate: (Shadow;Initial power) This allows Lunara to warp from place to place at will in a blast of shadow energy, along with up to five other beings. While short-range gates take only five to ten seconds to open and staibalize, anything outside of a fifty yard radius requires her to charge up a significant amount energy, which is visible as crackling aura that forms both around Lunara and her target destination. The charging time depends on the distance of the Gate, so while warping from one side of the Western Ruins to the other would only need thirty seconds or so of charge time, and would create only a small burst of energy, jumps that cover distances that would take days to travel on foot need to charge for several minutes, and the resulting blast of energy at both ends can reach more than ten feet in radius. It is worth noting that while Lunara is not limited to dark areas like her father is, she cannot perform rapid-fire combat jumps, due to the charge time involved.
-Fire-Bolt: (Fire;Learned at seven months) A variant of a spell that Lunara learned from her godfather, Navanic, this spell allows her to fire a bolt of fire from her jaws capable of impacting with enough concussive force to break bones. The bolt has a maximum range of thirty feet, at which point it detonates in a blast of fire five feet across. The strength of the attack depends on how long Lunara charges it, and it can only break bones at a full charge, which takes two minutes.
-Soothing Darkness: (Shadow;Learned at one month) A strong healing spell that cures physical external and internal injuries. While regeneration is possible with Soothing Darkness, doing so requires several hours, and leaves both Lunara and her patient exhausted. The spell also temporarily negates all light within ten feet, magical or otherwise, hence the name. This only lasts while the spell is in effect, but it can be very disconcerting to anyone in the area not expecting it. This spell requires Lunara's complete concentration, making highly impractical in a combat situation.
-Shadowed Fire Ray/Blast: (Shadow/Fire;Learned at three weeks[blast], and two months[ray]) Lunara can breath a torrent of black fire in either a thin ray up to thirty feet long, or a conic blast ten feet across at it's widest and fifteen feet long. The fire does not radiate any heat, and can't set anything on fire, but any living thing hit by it can suffer excruciatingly painful burns that are resistant to magical healing. While fire and heat immunity offer no protection from the spell, beings immune to shadow or darkness spells have no reason to fear Shadowed Fire.
-Greater Concealing Shadows: (Shadow;Initial Power) This ability allows Lunara to hide herself from all forms of detection short of physical contact. She can extend it's effects to others, as long as they remain within ten feet of her. It isn't fool-proof, however; magical light distorts the area affected by the spell, causing an effect similar to a heat mirage, and a direct hit on Lunara by any attack, including area effects such as shockwaves, will momentarily disrupt the spell.
-Purest Night: (Shadow;Learned at three months) A strong healing spell that allows Lunara to remove disease and neutralize poisons, although the target cannot see for two minutes after the spell takes effect. Lunara does not suffer from the side effect when she uses the spell on herself, but it does prevent her from using any other Healing magic for the same amount of time. It is worth mentioning that the side-effect occurs even if the target is in good health.
-Form-Shift: This power is inherent in all true-blood Shal'Dran, and allows Lunara to shift between a few set forms, listed below.
--True Form: (Awakened at two weeks) A giant black wolf-like creature, 4' at the shoulder, with iridescent yellow eyes, long, serrated talons, and a ten foot prehensile tail tipped with a jagged 12” blade. Black feathered wings extend from her shoulders, 23' tip-to-tip at full spread.
--Lupine Form: (Initial) Black wolf, 4' at the shoulder, three parallel dark gray stripes along the length of her muzzle, red-amber eyes.[Post-awakening]
Skills: Cross-Country Runner/Flier: (Active by eleven months) Lunara can run or fly for hours on end without stopping to rest. She can sustain this for up to two days if she properly paces herself, although after that she must stop to rest and eat.
-Snake's Strike: (Initial Skill) Lunara's attacks, while only of average strength, are extremely fast and accurate, making them very hard to evade.
-Hidden Watcher: (Active by two months) Lunara in incredibly adept at staying unnoticed, a skill that she learned from her father.
-Owl's Wings: (Active on awakening of her True Form) Lunara can, for the most part, fly without making noise, although fast flight creates a faint hissing of air through her fur.

The youngest daughter of Snow and Vyrn tsyr Ny'caltas, Lunara is the first Talvan A'nakt, or true-blood, Shal'Dran to be born in over a millennium. She was nearly killed at birth during an attack by a rogue wolf-pack, and as a result her brother and sister are overly protective of her. This is despite the fact that she now outweighs them by well over a hundred pounds, and stands more than three feet taller at the shoulder. She's taken to the 'big sister' roll well, though, and is even more fiercely protective of her siblings than they are of her.
Racial Notes: A True-Blood is a full-blood Shal'Dran who only has one parent with Shal'Dranic heritage of any sort (In this case, the father, Vyrn, is an Inheritor, or a wolf with Shal'Dranic ancestry). Their powers and traits typically awaken during the first five to eight months of their life, and their life span averages around a hundred thirty years.[/glow]
