Down by the Water

Kaala stood at the edge of Mizu Lake. She looked out at the beautiful sunrise. Kaala lapped the cool water and turned around to go back to hunt for food. Since she was a lone wolf, she could only hunt small prey. Her favourite were rabbits. She howled and let out a burst of speed as she caught the scent trail and went into the forest. She started slowing down as she came to a clearing. Kaala lowered her body and saw two rabbits. there was a large one on one side of the clearing and another which was slightly smaller, but of course she went for the bigger one. Kaala started stalking the prey as she was camoflauged in the brush. She would have to run very fast to catch the rabbit. Just as she was going to pounce, a wolf shot out of the bushes on the other side of the clearing and caught the rabbit. Kaala watched in anger and came out of the bushes.
"That is my rabbit." She snarled.

OoC: Kaala, if you haven't read through all of the rules, you really should. Typically, emoticons are never used in roleplay ^_- They're totally fine when just chatting out of character... but this is an intermediate site which means when you're in character it should be almost like you're trying to write a story to publish or something c:

The wolf standing across from Kaala was quite large and perhaps strange for one such as herself. He was purely white, much like she was. His golden amber eyes looked over toward her, the dead rabbit hanging from his lips. Gently lowering his neck and dropping his catch he spoke, "My apologies, miss... I was so intently focused on my hunt I was quite unaware of another's presence." He paused, dipping his head further as if to bow. "Please, forgive me... yet I might ask what makes this rabbit yours, as opposed to the fact I caught it first?" He sat back, showing no hostility for the time being and awaited her response.

Chihiro was hungry. The hunters had not gone out hunting yet so she was looking around Akera for prey. In her eyes, Akera had easier to catch prey than Shinkou which is why she went went hunting here instead of Shinkou. After catching the scent of a rabbit, Chihiro hid in the bushes, waiting for the perfect oppotunity. Alas, she waited too long and the rabbit was snatched up by a pure white wolf. Then she noticed another wolf, white as well with a black tuft of fur on her chest. Both were winged. Their scents wafted over to her nose. Both were tresspassers.

Chihiro stepped out of the bush concealing her, growling at both the wolves. "That rabbit belongs to neither of you!"she snarled,"It belongs to the owners of these lands. You two are tresspassers!" And with that word, Chihiro summoned her energy to use her spell, Wind Rush. Gusts of wind blew heavily, aiming to blow the two other wolves away. She wasn't how far away they would go if they got blown by the wind, but they would go somewhere. Her markings all glowed an eiree white as she used this spell. When Chihiro felt her energy sapping then did she stop. The spell possibly only went on for all least two minutes. Surely the other wolves had been blown back. When she opened her eyes, she would know the answer.

The wind swooshed and Kaala held her ground, her eyes tightly shut. Kaala dug her claws into the dirt trying to resist the strong mighty wind. Her wings folded as the wind pushed against them. She tried unfolding them, but they didn't seem to move. She gave a strong force and they slowly opened. She clenched her teeth and gave it all she got and her wings opened, Kaala flew back continuously flapping. She turned opening her wings, the wind pushing her away. She glided through the forest, dodging trees and turned around as the wind died down. She flapped back to the clearing and landed where she stood before. She seemed to ignore the other wolf who said she was a tresspasser. Kaala saw the male wolf trotting back to the clearing from the forest.

OoC: Streak, I dunno if it was just a typo but I just thought I'd mention that Shinkou's ally is Akeru not Akera XDDD

Kaala, if you're wanting to ever edit a post like you make a typo or want to change something just go to the top right corner of your post and click the button that has a folder picture next to it that says "Modify" from there just edit the text and click "Modify Post" =D hope that helps!\

Also my bad on bringing this particular lone wolf <.< I wasn't paying attention to the location of the thread until Chihiro pointed out their trespasser-ness DX Although I suppose now that he's here I'll go with it XD

The large male turned his gaze as another approached. Ah, a pack wolf. In truth, he had been so focused on his hunt he hadn't really been paying much attention to his surroundings. Though now that he thought about it... Ah well, too late now. This wolf was quite territorial... he supposed she had every right to be. But an opportunity now presented himself, and he couldn't help but feel somewhat delighted. As her spell caused the wind to push them, he was caught a little off guard, but soon pulled himself together. He didn't attack back, seeing no reason to piss her off further, but he did form a shield, the light growing brighter and brighter until it was blinding before fading in a brief flash. If the wind was still blowing by the time the light faded, then Aksel would find himself flying backward. But if it had dissipated, he would be standing there, his fur rather fluffed up from the wind that had hit him before.

If it were the case where he stood there still, he would dip his head once more in a respectful fashion, this time toward Chihiro, his stance entirely neutral. "Ah, it seems I am having the sort of day to piss off lovely females. Please, forgive me also," he murmured, his voice smooth and even, "I honestly meant no harm. Perhaps you might show the way from here?" Entirely innocent in suggestion, though giving him the chance for further conversation...

The winds calmed just before the light faded away. The huge wolf stood before her, his fur quite ruffled. Chihiro s[removed]ed at the wolf, her body slouching. She immediatly straightened up, trying to regain her composure. A smile crossed her lips when she looked at the wolf again. Chihiro couldn't hold it in and burst out laughing. It was the most hilarious sight Chihiro had ever seen. She now knew that she could make wolves look silly with a weak version of Wind Rush. After several moments, Chihiro took in a deep breath and stopped laughing although she could not look at the wolf for the time being. She stared at the female instead, taking in her appearence. Her ears twitched as the male wolf spoke.
"You mean no harm? Is that so? If you are lying, I will find out your secrets." She looked into his amber eyes. They looked... trustworthy. Chihiro shook her head slightly. She had learned in the past that the eyes can guard secrets very well.
"The borders of the packlands from which you both must leave are towards the East." Chihiro motioned in that direction. Somehow she didn't think they would leave, but then again, she had no idea what goes on in others minds. Ah, well she would find out shortly if they would leave.
