Alone. That word rang through the head of a large dire. His five foot frame carried him through out the lands, so far he had only encountered one other being besides the prey. The slight heavy pound of his paws striking the earth began to echo as he moved about these lands, his ebony ears high atop his skull, alert. Midnight blue eyes scanned the area, blood red flecks inside the midnight almost shimmering as he waited with anticipation. A light jingle followed his figure, a large chain was connected around his neck. A snort was released into the air as he stopped neck to a large boulder, large enough for him to climb upon. Once atop the boulder he layed down, resting his crimson snout on his char coal paws, his tail curled around him. The stubborn brute had eaten a few hours prior to this moment so he was able to rest and give his stomach a settle. The demon ran through his veins and he watched the shadows, with an amused grin he then spoke under his breath "Ombres" The moons rays had been shining ona tree perfectly that he was able to play with the shadow, however it only drained more energy from him. The shadow twitched and squirmed before it then slowly morphed into the shape of a snake, slithering around the boulder he had placed himself on. The shadows were like spirits to him, they always seemed to keep him company when he needed it most.

Aquila flapped her wings, lifted her beak and let lose a loud screech letting prey know she was near even though they probably already saw her. she was bigger the regular hawks and was being quiet loud since she entered the rolling landscape she now was flying over. Aquila swooped low to the ground and looked at her shadow. she looked up at the last minute to see a boulder in front of her. she made a low squawk and only had time to so down slightly and turn her head so she wouldn't hit her beak.then slammed into the rock
"I think it's time for a break"Aquila said after rubbing her head with her wing. She flew up into a tree and hid herself when she saw a wolf on the boulder she crashed into did he see me? she thought a little interested in the creature. she poked her head out of the tree's branches and tilted her head at the wolf.

Lilliana stalks though the damp shrubs, the warm, wet air irritating her as the grey clouds above rumble with distant thunder. Her long hands wrap around a small rock, squeezing it until it cracks in herstrong, clawed hands, muscles flexing beneath her pale golden fur. Her teeth grit as the sharp rock penetrates her black skin, but she lets the dark blood drip slowly from her palm to the damp earth, snarling with a low, bubbling anger as she half-heartedly looks for something to inflict pain on.
She drops the crimson sludge from her hand, remnants of that pebble, crushed and ground to dust, soaked in her won blood, it was a temporary balm for her, a target with which she could vent her anger on without reprise. "Reprisals!" she growls, her twisted almost-lupine face strangling the word, hatred pouring from her tone nontheless, as she wipes her palms on a bush of thistles, eyes snapping open and wide as the skin on her hands tears open to the sweet, searing agony which calmed her slightly. Her snarl quietens, lessening to a mere rumble in her chest as she clenches her hands and teeth together to savour the pain.
A flutter of wings alerts her to the presence of another, and her eyes sharpen, auds twitching around to pinpoint the origin of the noise. "Not large wings, so it's not a large wolf..." she thinks to herself, blinking as her palm begins tow itch, knitting back together as her quiet growl ceases, her time with her uncle wolf finally coming into effect as she scrambles up the nearest tree, long black claws giving her purchase in the soft, saturated bark. She glares out from between the branches, her teeth clenching harder with apprehension as she sees the massive wolf lying on the rock before her, shadows seeming to dance around him "He's HUGE!" she gasps.
