Playing in The Memories

Frost ran through the field of flowers, "If only Natika, Snowdrift, Thorn and Crow were here. It be just like it use to be."Frost skidded to a stop, her icy blue eyes begining to water as she willowed in her memories"Wish they were still here."Frost laid down in the flowers, hiding herself in the tall flowers, closing her eyes as she played in her memories. Ever so often giggling as memories of the times she, her sisters, and brothers pranked each other.

It was a beautiful day. Wind blowing gently across the open field, sun shining, and flowers everywhere. Gliding through the air just as content as could be, Alastolan closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. It wasn't often he found days like this in the world where everything seemed so perfect. That is until he opened his eyes and gazed down to see a white figure running through the fields. His curiosity always got the better of him, so he ended up flying high above the figure, watching it from afar. Wondering however why it so suddenly stopped and laid down. Was the figure tired? Was it sick and just tried to run too much or was it wounded? It didn't seem to be wounded as far as he could tell so he decided to fly down closer.

The closer he got he realized it was a wolf and could hear giggling. Something only heard when one remembers something funny, or hears something funny. As they were the only two around for quite a distance, he figured the wolf was thinking of something funny. And judging from the sound of the giggle, it was a female. About ten feet away or so he decided to swoop in a few feet away from the wolf and trod on over to her without a care in the world. Finally able to see her in the field much closer now that he was at the same level, he smiled with a friendly greeting. "Hello!" He spoke with a rather cheery voice. Beautiful weather always seemed to put him in an unusually good mood. "My name's Alastolan." He tilted his head a bit with that same smile. Sticking out like a sore thumb against the flowery fields with his black, grey, red and blue markings. "What was funny? I couldn't help but overhear your giggling and I was curious as to what made you laugh."

Frosts head shot up as a voice found its way in her memories. "Huh?" Frost looked up to see an older wolf, "My name's Alastolan." "Oh! Hi!" she exclaimed in a cheery manner as well, quickly wiping a tear away with her paw. Alastolan posed her a question, at first she seemed confused but then remered she had giggled because of the memory with her and her brothers pranking each other. "I was going through the memories of my brothers and sisters, and the pranks we pulled on each other." Frost giggled again as the time she and Crow put a thorn in Thorn's bed played in her mind. "Me and my brothers and sisters use to joke around a lot."

OOC:Just in case, Frost is a pup, almost two months. :3

Alastolan listened to her words and seemed to smile just a bit wider than before as he nodded. "That's nice. It's good to hold on to the memories of the ones we love. If we don't, we have a tendency to forget all that makes the world we live in such a good place. Even if others don't live forever, the memories we hold will live for eternity." He let his eyes sink closed for a few moments as memories of his mother and father drifted forward in his mind. Opening his eyes he let out a small sigh. "I never had brothers or sisters... only my parents. My siblings died at birth."

Frost nodded at his words, "I'm sorry for your loss, I can understand on how you feel." Frost stopped and thought on what she was about to say then continued, "I not only lost my brothers and sisters but my parents and pack to hunters." Frost looked up at the wolf and smiled, a lone tear slipping from her icy blue gaze, "But, like you said, It's good to hold on to the memories of the ones we love." At first Frost hesitated but decided to go ahead, after all he never got to know the bond of having siblings and she wanted him to know it. " The bond between siblings is amazing, I may have lost mind early but you never got the chance." Frost stood up on her hind legs and licked the wolfs cheek. "Starting now, your my big brother and I'm your little sister, if its ok with you that is."

Listening to the words of this wolfess before him, he gave a small smile. Realizing what she said was true. He never did get that chance to see what it's like to have a brother or sister. He never got to know what it was like to play with them, prank each other, even get into little scuffles. But his train of thought was broken when she spoke her last sentence. Wai-..... What..? he thought to himself for a few moments, clearly caught off guard by the statement. Rather quickly however he came back to his senses and smiled at her brightly. Leaning down with a gentle nudge into her cheek with his muzzle her tilted his head at her and quirked a brow. "And just what is the name of my new little sister hmm?" He was curious as to what her name was as he had introduced himself, but she had yet to reveal what her own name was.

Frost smiled and nudged him back."My name is Frost, sorry for not introducing myself earlier."Frost gave him a big grin before tagging him in the shoulder with her paw and darting away in the flowers. Then a few seconds later darting back and tagging him again while chanting,"Your it! Your it! Big brother Alastolan is ittt!!!~~"
