Aliaura had lived her life hidden from the world. She was only attached to her brother, never having had the opportunity to meet any other friends. Aliaura looked around her surroundings, specifically for Arvailo, but saw only the surrounding water and sand of a land she did not know the name of. She realized that she was quite relaxed laying on the sand the way she was. “I know you’re around here somewhere Arvailo...” she mumbled to herself, slowly dragging herself upwards. She started walking away from the water, looking back and forth for him. “I just gotta find you,” she whispered to herself. She had only searched perhaps a minute or two when she became impatient. She longed to just lay down, sunbathe, and wait for him to stumble upon her. She shrugged and then enacted her plan, not caring whether anything was watching her. She didn’t even notice her surroundings. She shuffled over to her previous resting spot and then laid down to wait. She closed her eyes and reflected upon her, in her mind, genius ideas. She thought of how to make them reality but she couldn’t see how she ever would, and so she opened her eyes again.

It was another day, scouting the territory. However, this certain wolfess was not only keeping an eye out for intruders on Shinkou territory, but on Akeru land too. This specific female had grown bored of the same sights and so, wandered to the lands of the proud Akeru pack. Sometimes, she wished to live near the Lake, admiring the view. But alas, she was born loyal to the Shinkou pack and loyal she would stay. This certain lady went by the name of Chihiro. Chihiro was a Youroi, a pale blue wolfess with various markings. She had swirls behind her ears and spirals on her eyes. Two of her legs were coated with these same patterns. All in all, she was an average Youroi.
Chihiro walked around aimlessly. She was naturally bored but she continuously reminded herself to focus on her job. If she relaxed too much, she could be demoted from her job. Chihiro would dread for that to happen. All her life, she was trained to be a Reku and to be demoted would mean the end of her life. She began to concentrate more on the sounds and scents of Akeru, trying to figure out if anything was out of place. Nothing changed. Chihiro nodded to herself and walked on. She stopped occasionally to heighten her senses then carried on. Chihiro smirked as she walked. One of the few times she would actually do her job. Most of the time she would mess about with her magic but when she did do her job, she did it well.
Perhaps she was doing it too well. Chihiro somehow didn't notice the wolfess in front of her and walked straight past the wolf. She realised that rainbows don't for that close to the ground and back-tracked. She returned and bowed her head to the wolfess. "Forgive me for walking past you. I was concentrating too hard and forgot to observe my surroundings." Chihiro lifted her head, revealing a comforting smile. Perhaps she would make a new friend.

Aliaura's eyes may have been open but that didn't mean she had been paying attention to what she saw. Aliaura jumped slightly when she noticed the female wolf standing above her but she recovered herself and sat up. She looked around for any other wolves with the female but if she did see something, she didn't really care and pushed the thought away. "Oh, it's fine. I didn't really even notice you actually. I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings either." Aliaura responded to the female's apology. The female had a smile on her face and Aliaura couldn't help but feel like the other wolf's smile was genuinely friendly. Aliaura felt slightly uncomfortable around wolves other than her brother, but she returned a small smile and then looked at the ground. "So umm... I'm Aliaura, nice to meet you." she tried to sound friendly but it probably came off more as intimidated. She shuffled her paws in the sand nervously but looked back at the wolf trying to be respectful. OOC: Thank you for posting!

Immediately, Chihiro could tell she had made the female nervous. Chihiro pondered how to fix this problem but decided to just 'go with the flow.' "Aliaura... What a lovely name! Pleasure to meet you. My name is Chihiro," she said in what she hoped was a pleasing manner. Chihiro could tell that Aliaura had not been in the pack of Shinkou for quite as long as her. Although she looked 4, she was 22. Youroi lived for a long time.
Now that the formalities were over, Chihiro decided to start up a subject both the wolves could talk about. Certainly not the. weather. "How's Akeru life treating you? Do you like it? Once again, please forgive me for questioning you. I simply have to satisfy my curiousity."

Aliaura appreciated that Chihiro was willing to give her name to a total stranger. 'Chihiro,' she noted to herself trying to make sure she would not forget the wolf's name, especially since it was pretty much the only non-family member she had met. "I like your name too," Aliaura said feeling slightly embarrassed at Chihiro's complement even though they didn’t even really know each other. “Oh, well, I guess it’s fine,” she shrugged at Chihiro’s question. “I don’t really have any other life experience to compare it too so... But anyways, I don’t mind you asking me questions. It’s nice to see someone curious about me. My brother knows about me on his own, he doesn’t really need to ask,” she smiled, slightly more comfortable with Chihiro. “What about you? What’s your life like?” she asked curiously, realizing it was her turn to question. She laid herself down in the sand making herself more comfortable and her fur became covered in the itchy stuff. She gnawed on her leg a little before a thought popped into her head. ‘When’s Arvailo gonna find us?’ she thought to herself. ‘I want him to meet Chihiro.’OOC: The single quotes in italic are her thoughts, just to clarify.

All of a sudden, Arvailo burst out of the water and ran towards them. He excitedly said "Hey! Who is this?". He looked wonderingly at the Youroi, as if he had never seen antone else in his entire life. "Hi. I am Arvailo. And you are?" He looked to his side and saw a fish jump out of the water. He immediately took his attention off of his sister and the stranger and went to go try and catch the fish. He was leaping around in the water when he fell on a crab. The crab pinched his leg and Arvailo let out a huge yelp and fell over and laid in the shallow water, hoping for help.

Chihiro was in the process of answering Aliaura's question when a male wolf jumped out of the water. This sudden action caused Chihiro to step back and give a low growl. However, at a second glance, Chihiro realised this was a fellow pack member. She immediatly stopped and bowed head to both the wolf by the name of Arvailo and Aliaura. "I apologise for my actions. It was a surprise." Once again, Chihiro opened her mouth to answer the long-awaited question when she heard a yelp. Chihiro paused, flicking her ears and gave another quick bow of the head. "I fear I cannot answer your question at the present moment. I think your companion has injured himself." And with that she ran to the source of the yelp. There she saw Arvailo with whisps of blood around him. Chihiro stepped quickly into the water, took in a deep breath and plunged her head underwater. She tried to pick up Arvailo around his stomach. Once Chihiro did, she stumbled to shore and slipped the body over her head and onto the ground. She began to inspect the wound. There wasn't enough blood flowing to kill, but it could get infected. So it needed some medicinal herbs. Chihiro paused. All this life she had lived and she had no clue what herbs helped. "Aliaura! Do you think you could find some herbs?" Chihiro shouted urgently. She then began to lap water onto the wound in a way of cleaning it. Hopefully Aliaura could find some hetbs to make up for Chihiro's lack of knowledge.

Aliaura stared at her brother and lowered her head in embarrassment. When he fell into the water because of the crab's pinch Aliaura silently chuckled to herself but when Chihiro took actual concern, Aliaura grew worried. She didn't care that the question wouldn't be answered immediately, but she was fairly curious about the life in a pack. Then, when Chihiro needed help, Aliaura grew more concerned. She didn't know what to do at all. "Ermm... What kind of herbs do you mean..?" she asked timidly, being slightly embarrassed again that she didn't know much about anything in an actual life. Her parents had always taken care of both of them, and of course now she was put on the spot not knowing what to do. "I... I Guess I'll just see what plants I can find..." she responded to her own question before setting off away from the water in search for plants that might have some healing properties. She scanned though plants looking for anything that might stick out to her. Nothing did stick out though so she wandered with her head towards the ground, only looking at the ground below her and the plants near her.

Arvailo lied there, waiting for his sister to come back with the herbs he needed. "Mom always told me to stay away from the crabs when in the water near our home." He said to Chihiro. "They would always try to snap at us and so we stayed away. I never noticed them here before, though." He looked down at the pool of blood he was in and fainted from blood loss.

[glow=blue,2,800]"You really should have been more cautious, pup. Those who are unaware of what is around them often don't last long on their own." The soft, gentle voice has no visible source, and doesn't seem to come from any one direction. What is visible, however, is the thick black fog that suddenly appears around Arvailo. If one were able to see into the cloud, arcs of dark energy would be visible running along the wolf's wound, healing any and all damage on his body.[/glow]

Arvailo awakens and finds Chihiro standing over him. He looks down and finds the wound is fully healed. "How did it heal so quickly?" He looks up at Chihiro with a face of amazement and then attempts to stand up. He is successful and darts out of the water quickly to be cautious like the voice told him to. He wasn't going to tell anyone about that, though, in fear of being branded as some wierdo outcast.

Aliaura still didn't see anything she thought could be useful and, after a while of searching, panicked and ran back to her brother. By the time she reached where he had been, however, she saw that he was up and running away from the water. She sighed and hung her head but quickly realized that there was no way the wound could of been healed by itself. She looked at Chihiro with a face of astonishment then approached and asked quietly, "How did you do that?" She looked back at her brother and stared at the leg the crab had pinched. 'How is that possible? I didn't think wounds could heal like that...' she thought to herself curiously. She walked up to her brother and gave him a long stare that had no identifiable emotion in it because of her ghostly eyes. 'You're okay, right?' she thought to him, hoping that their shared telepathy would carry her message to her brother silently. She didn't want to admit openly that she actually enjoyed her brother and worried about him. "Shouldn't you sit and let your leg rest a while or something?" she suggested, suddenly realizing that Chihiro probably had no idea what she had been doing.
