Alright, this is just a little story that I'm writing that's based off of the Manga I drew of it earlier on. I know I'm probably the worst writer ever in the world but bear with me! Oh, and I'm only including the first few pages, considering the whole thing's be way too long to fit...tell me what you think in the comments section under RMS !
Chapter one~DNA
Miles away from any civilization, a troop of young men in green uniforms bustled around a large camp, surrounded by several trucks, all packed full of tiny cases. Each case contained exactly seven syringes and each syringe contained the blood and DNA of seven different animals: raven, hawk, shark, python, wolf, tiger, and fox. These samples would be shipped back to the lab station not too far away for testing.
"That's all of 'em! Pack up and let's head on back," one of the youths shouted from the truck bed where he was loading the last of the cargo.
There was a huge clambering as men leaped into the vehicles, chatting and discussing random things as they rumbled down the dirt path into the setting sun.
Further away, in a quiet little town far from the camp site of the men, I sat on the porch swing, trying to block out the constant roar of sound issuing from the house. The TV was blaring in the living room, the stereo system was blaring full volume, and my parents were yelling their heads off at each other in the kitchen. A usual evening after dinner at my place. Of course, my little brother is no where to be seen, hiding upstairs in his bedroom probably. He hates it when people raise they're voices, whether it's directed at him or not, and all other noises in general. Everything outside was so peaceful, so how come my life is so chaotic and confusing? Sighing, I kicked at the un-mowed grass, knowing I'd have to get out the mower and start cutting it sooner or later. *Better sooner than later with mom and dad in that mood...* Getting up, I stretched and, as quietly as possible, tip-toed past the open screen door and into the garage, lugging out a rather rusted and dirty machine. Pulling it out of the cluttered garage was one thing, but getting the dang thing to start up was another. No matter how hard or how much I yanked, it remained motionless; sometimes the engine would sputter a bit and I though it'd start but just died again.
"Damn it why won't it work?!" I muttered angrily, giving the string an exceptionally hard jerk.
The stupid peice of junk finally lurched and started roaring away, blades whirling and slicing through the vegetations.
"About time..."
Pushing the mower through the tangled grass, I worked away under the darkning sky, unaware of anything else.
The two lads watched the girl mowing the lawn quietly from the shadows of the trees nearby. One of them was holding a large gun-like device with a small syringe of fluid attached to the barrel.
"Wait until she gets a bit closer..." his partner muttered, keeping a close eye on the girl's movements.
The other nodded and waited patiently, gun poised and ready for shooting. After minutes of keeping absolutely still in the stiffling heat, the victim was close enough for the gun range.
"Alright, now!"
The trigger was pulled and the little syringe was sent flying head on into its target's neck.
Following the shape of the backyard's hilly slope, I pushed and pulled the stubborn mower about, winding my way nearer and nearer to the woods behind the house. I was about two feet away from the finge of the trees when out of no where, a hissing dart came flying out of the darkness and hit me smack in the side of my neck.
"Ow! What the heck!!"
I reached up with one hand and, feeling the end of the annoying little nuisence, and gripping it firmly, pulled it out. Holding it up, I saw it was a clear syringe. It seemed to be full once before, due to the little drops of liquid still visible, it was now empty. *Into my neck and body no doubt....wait a minute! I don't know what that stuff was! It could have been something toxic or poisounous!!* Forgetting the grass that was in desperate need of cutting, I felt around the tiny hole, trying to find any signs of swelling or something hazardous happening underneath the skin. It seemed pretty normal to me so shrugging, I went back to mowing the lawn, not bothered much. *Probably just some kids playing around.* What I didn't know was that the stuff injected into me was actually the DNA of a wolf, something that was going to turn my whole life upside down.
Well, that's the first chapter of it, please tell me what you think and I'll post the other chapters as well! ^_^
