On January 13th, Mom went to see my CCHS's play performance, Grease, at night. She took buttloads of pictures, but here are a few, plus a few extra.
-During rehearsals. Thomas is the blonde one, walking around, practicing his singing for Beauty School Dropout.
-More rehearsals. Student director directing us - there's me, wearing my pink Grease shirt... the one standing still, you dunce. Yes, that's Kaoru.
-"GO GREASED LIGHTNIN', YOU'RE BURNIN' UP THE QUARTER MILE! GREASED LIGHTNIN', GO GREASED LIGHTNIN'!" During performance. The audience screamed and applaused like the world was about to end after this scene. (It was cute, because the car was doing the pimp dance beneath them as they were bouncing on it)
-Oooh, it's me in a pink prom dress. This is for the Grease's Prom dance scene. This part was the Line Dance, also seen in the movie Grease. My prom date was... a female. o-x. There weren't enough guys, so a girl dressed up as a guy.
Kaoru: "This is strapless."
Dee (Prom date): "Hopefully the audience will think I'm a guy."
-More Grease Prom dance.
Kaoru: "I've got a feeling someone's taking a picture of us..."
Dee: "..."
-Kaoru: "This punch is spiked, you can tell."
Dee: "Gimme cup, bitch."
-Beauty School Dropout scene. There's Thomas singing. He's got a wonderful voice. o.0
And there's me, to the left. I look like such an airhead.
Kaoru: "We're men... we're men in tights!" >>
Thomas: "Well they couldn't teach you anything
you think you're such a looker
but no customer will go to you
unless she was a HOOKER!"
Everyone: *MELODRAMATIC GASP*
- "We Go Together" dance score. XD You can see me in a salmon-pinkish skirt and top on the right. Sandy is the girl in black with blonde hair.
Kaoru: "If I wave my hands this fast, maybe they won't see me!"
-More prom scenes! Look, there's Danny and Sandy! To the right side of the stage, you dunderhead.
Kaoru: *Hiding*
-Danny and Sandy! Whoo, they gots it goin' on. Lookie, there's me, clapping.
-More of Beauty School Dropout.
Kaoru: "Oh noes, I wasn't supposed to step!"
Teen Angel (Thomas): "Malt shop in theee..."
Kaoru: "Omg, my arm broke."
-"You're The One That I Want" score. Elizabeth and Keith star as Sandy and Danny.

They're so much fun. Maybe I'll be in a musical my school's doing this year 
That would be wickedly cool. I <3 plays, even if I don't have a major role in them...all the behind-the-scenes stuff, the crazy rehearsals...they're almost like bonding experiences ^_^ Okay, shutting up now. No more cheese.
