The soft, white wolfess ran steadily stopping only for a drink and was off again. Her tounge lolling out, she ran weightlessly, her wings spread as if in flight. She saw a small movement out of her sharp, blue eyes. She whirled around and chased after the little being. Catching it by the tail, she mouthed it down for a quick dinner and sat down in the bushes to rest a while.

A powerfully built mascu lurked in the shadows created by a granite boulder. His chocalate hued pelage rippled faintly in the slight breeze. Three scars, palely red, crossed his left eye. Thus, he was only able to see with the right. He turned this yellow orb towards the femme in order to see her. [/color]

It was sunset and she decided to move on. She rose from her spot in the bushes and stretched. Quick as lightning, she tore off, tail streaming behind. As she was heading North, she thought she heard howling to the West. She turned and headed in that direction.

Taerin sighed resignedly as the sound of pawsteps became more audible. The femme, it seemed, was heading this direction.

Ukamirru, for that was the wolfess' name, drew near the wolf she heard howling earlier. She stopped short and took a drink from a pool close by. The drink was brief for she was very careful. She slunk into a nearby bush and preceded to spy on whatever was going on.

The mascu gave a short howl in greeting, stepping forward and wagging his tail slightly in acknowledgement of the wolfess's presence.

Ukamirru: She stood quietly, abit startled. She decided it best to talk abit and gather some information. She spoke, "I am Ukamirru, I'll say more about myself later. Are you for good or for evil, firstly".

He made a small shrugging motion with his shoulders. "Good, I suppose," he said in deep tones. "I'm known as Taerin."

"That's good to know," came the reply. "I heard a wolf howl earlier and headed in this direction, I figured it was most likely a pack. I lost mine."

"Yes..." was the hesitant response. "The Night Wolves Pack."

Ukamirru perked up her tail wagging, "Good," came the cheerful reply, "I want to enter but I was born into my previous pack and am new to this whole thing. Will you help me out?"

Again, that shrugging motion. "Define help," he said, his voice bordering on contempt.

"I mean, I would like to talk to the alpha or someone who is of high rank. Or can I merely join the pack and wait top be noticed. Speaking of such, are you part of this pack?"

He stared at her a moment before replying. "I suppose," he said slowly; thoughtfully. "I came here... And I stayed, but I tend to keep to myself."

"I see, well, I'll just join up then and hope to be noticed, though, I hope it doesn't take too long," she paused for a moment before adding, "speaking of such, what rank might you be?"
She realized it seemed like a dumb question being as he had said, "I keep to myself." She did not want to get off on the wrong paw with anyone so she preceded to change what she had said.
She hesitated for a moment before she spoke. "I suppose that was quite a silly question." She stopped, not quite knowing what else to say or do. Her mind went blank and she could think of nothing. She was becoming very shy, and wondered what she was doing and why. She laid back hoping he would say anything that would bring her back to focus.
