Deftly the wolven dodged the water that soared towards him. His face was devoid of emotions. It was plain to see that he was withstanding the pain. When the femme spoke he looked at her for a moment with a blank gaze. "Pain is nothing new to me. I'll live." Slowly he rose and began to pad off.

She cocked her head questioningly, and thought she saw him wince. She rolled her eyes in disbelief but shrugged. "Can I tag along with you two if I don't cause trouble?" she asked while trying to keep up with him.

The masculine paused in his pace. His head lifted as he seemed to be in thought. Again he began to trek forth. After a while he spoke up. "If you want to. Just do what we tell you to and don't cause trouble. Oh, and you might want to get down." Immediately after he spoke that a black blurr shot from the shadows at Kindare. Luke's one eye gleamed as he pounced on his brother. "Did you show her the lake?"

She ducked for a moment, before realizing it was Luke. Immediately she bounded foward to stand behind them, giggling. "Ok," said she half startled. She wagged her tail, and then sat down.

The two brothers looked back at her for a moment and smiled. After shaking their heads they went back to trotting up the path. Their trek seemed to have no certain goal yet they padded upon the well tred path diligently. Every once and a while they would stop to sniff a breeze or to search a bush.

She was content to tag along, trotting after them quietly. She was gazing around her in wonder at all the things that were around her. It seemed, to her, that she had found what she had been looking for this whole time. Or, if she hadn't she was either close to it, or this was the closest she was going to get.

Suddenly the two brother's stopped. Both of the masculines crouched low to the ground. Silently they motioned for her to do the same and to wait where she was. Once they were sure she would stay still they slowly crept forth, moving swiftly and silently.
Within the clearing ahead was a full grown buck. The deer slowly ate upon the dry grass. Those ears of his swiveled as he was blissfully unaware of the creeping twins. What happened next happened in a blink of an eye. With a roar Luke leapt at the deer. The creature screamed it's pain and fear as those fangs sank into it's neck. Furiously it tried to throw that massive wolven off him. When he succeeded he saw an even bigger creature dashing at him. Swiftly Kindare leapt on the prey, ending the life of the creature with a blow to their skull.

She hated to have to sit back and watch, but she did so obediently according to the promise she had made to them. She watched intently, half wanting to join in the fun, but she scowled and stayed, waiting for them to return. She placed her head upon her paws and laid her ears against her head infrustration. Her tail twitched back and forth, but she did not go anywhere.

When the dead deer fell to the ground Kindare tore viciously at the flesh. Quickly and hungrily he ate his fill, leaving alot more as he padded off to go lie down.
Luke watched Kindare eat then turned to the femme to explain. "See the rule with me and Kin is that whomever deals the last blow gets to eat first. Seeing as how there is enough there for a few days we will rest here until the meat is gone. Go on and eat." The masculine stepped out of the way so she could access the deer.

She nodded, and smiled. "Thanks," and she quickly bounded toward the fresh meat. She ate ravenously, as she had not eaten much over the past while. She looked at Luke, thanking him again.
When she had finished, she stepped back, alowing Luke to have his own fill. She sat on her haunches, quietly and patiently waiting.

Luke smiled warmly as she ate. He seemed to be the kinder of the two. Or maybe he was just more trusting. Slowly he padded to a rock that had been heated by the rock. With a sigh he laid down and looked at the femme with curious eyes. "So where are you from?"

She looked up at him curiously. Well, it's kind of a long story, but I suppose we do have time. She looked at Kindare, "Are you going to listen too?" She waited patiently for his response.

Kindare looked at her deeply with red eyes for a moment. Slowly he nodded his head and rested in on his forepaws. "Sure. Stories are always good."
Luke sat up straight and smiled. "Yes and after you tell us your story we'll tell you ours's."

She nodded and slowly began...
It was a long time ago. I was born far west of here. My pack was always at war with everyone else. I, myself, would rather make friends, and I was always searching for a mate. Others scolded me for it, so eventually I gave it up, though te thoughts still passed through my mind constantly.
Many years passed, and I became one of the pack's best warrior. I went everywhere, and aided the pack with a lot. I became the pack guardian, but I still was not satisfied. I wanted to get out and find a new pack. I never mensioned my wants for fear of what would happen.
So one day, I snuck out while everyone was asleep and went journeying everywhere in search. That was a year and a half ago.
Then, I ran into you guys, and I guess I have been having a really good time, especially since I left. I'm glad I did, and I am not going back...
She ended. I'm sorry if it was a little short, I really am not very good with story telling. She sighed. Speaking of which, is there a pack around here, or may I join one that you two might be in?"

Luke smiled. "Acually right now you are in the pack lands of our pack. We're part of the.." Yet Kindare cut him off as he began their story. "Me and Luke were born with our brother's and sisters in the north. One day a hunter came and killed our mother and I thought I was the only one to survive. But in truth Luke and our other brother lived. I roamed for a few months, a newborn pup, until I was found by the scouting party of a giant war pack. They took me in and raised me to be a warrior. Eventually I ran away and came here."
