Icewolf followed behind his love for a moment. Quickly he caught up and trotted at her side.
Kindare seemed oblivious to Kara's company. Even though the dispute between him and his adoptive father was solved, he still did not wish to be close to any femmes. Luke took note of this and simply shook his head.

Kara bounded about, switching to walk beside Luke and then alongside Kindare. She smiled and made not a sound. She couldn't decide whether to walk by Kindare or Luke. She shrugged and then noticed that Kindare didn't really want her company. She cocked her head for a moment, looking at him with question and then went to Luke. She trotted at his side, wagging her tail.
Antarctica smiled at her mate as he trotted alongside her. She was always glad of him. She turned to go up the tunnel and then stopped. "You had better go first, I can't really get the boulder," she said with a smile. She nuzzled his cheeck and then sat down.

When the company stopped so did Luke. He offered a small smile to Kara but that was it. Kindare walked past Icewolf and Antartica, leading the way up the tunnel
Icewolf softly nuzzled his mate in return. He watched as Kindare started up the tunnel before licking his love's cheek. "Come on my love."

Kara watched intently, her curiosity peeked. Before, she had been in such a hurry to follow Kindare down the tunnel, not wanting to be left behind, that she had barely noticed anything. She now looked around with amazement at everything. "Wow, so you guys built all this?" she asked at last, wagging her tail and grinning. "It's great!" she finished.
Antarctica quickly followed her mate, wagging her tail. As they climbed and clamored out, she again blinked in the light outside, as it was brighter than the torches inside. She stood by her mate, and waited for the others.

Icewolf extended one almost angelic wing and encased his eternal love in it's warm, protective folds. Softly his muzzle pressed into her cheek and he smiled. At Kara's exclamation he simply smiled. "Yes I built that with some help from the other Defenders."
The two brothers slowly walked to the grounf before Icewolf and Antartica. They stretched slowly and yawned. Kindare looked at the two femmes before sulking off. Luke simply shook his head.

"Wow," she said again. She looked at Kindare and frowned. "What's eaten him?" she asked, almost sternly. Then she smiled and climbed out, blinking in the light. "It's a lot dimmer down there though," she said, looking around.
Antarctica loved the affection. She smiled and kissed Icewolf's maw lovingly. She felt content and happy with no cares or wants. She smiled as she saw the others clamor out, and wagged her tail.

Luke watched as his brother walked off. He looked to Icewolf and shrugged. "I better follow him." He bowed his head to the three before running into the shadows after his sibling.
Slowly Icewolf's tail curled about his mate's. He smiled and softly returned the wolven kiss. Those liquid blue eyes looked up for a moment to watch Kindare and Luke run off before returning to his mate's own gaze.

Kara watched them for a moment and then shrugged. "I think I'll go with them, nice meeting you two," she said with a smile. She ran after the two brothers, "Hey guys, wait for me," she called, trying to catch up.
Antarctica watched the leaving ones for a moment and then locked with Icewolf's gaze. "She sure is a hyper one, isn't she?" she stated after a moment and then licked her love's cheek. "So, what to do now, my love?" she asked, leaning against him and nuzzling him.

The two brothers were drudging side by side through the foliage. No longer did they hold themselves high or seem to be murderous creature. Now they seemed to be tired mentally, weary of all the endeavors. Their shoulders were slumped as they trekked lazily.
Icewolf smiled as he gazed into his mate's eyes. "Well, anything is great as long as I have you by my side."

Kara trotted up alongside them. "Woa, you guys look bad. You guys should go find some place to sleep. I will go and get like some rabbits or something and bring them to you guys."
Antarctica smiled, "Same here, but I am in the mood for running," she said, standing up and going around in front of him and looking into his face, her nose almost touching his, as she wagged her tail.

The brothers simply nodded, being to tired in the mind to argue. Slowly they came upon a cave. As they climbed into the entrance they went to certain spots as if it was a routine. This was their home. The floor was scattered with bones and pelts. A pit in the center showed where a pool of water once was. But the spring that fed it was long dried.
Softly Icewolf kissed her nose and smiled. "Then run we shall." As quick as a bolt of lightning the wolven was off, dashing between the trees with amazing quickness.

Kara smiled, seeing where they were and then slunk off into the forest to find food. She now became like the wolfess that she usually was. Her eyes were keen to anything that moved, and her ears catching every sound made. Her paws treaded quickly, yet softly on the ground beneath her, careful not to make a sound and frighten any food that might be available. She was hoping for rabbits but she was to find none, so she looked towards the trees for sqirrels and birds. She smiled as she saw a squirrel and dashed to get it. The sqirrel darted up the tree to disappear in its swaying branches. "Crap," she muttered and began looking for other prey. She tried but failed a few more times with other squirrels and a couple of birds. She continued trecking along until she came upon a deer that was grazing with a fawn nearby. "Perfect," she said to herself, eyeing her prey. She slunk around, looking for the right time to pounce.
She rushed from the bushes, racing for the deer. The deer looked up and began to run away. Kara chased it, growling and barking. She began to slowly advance, until she was close enough to bite the deer's head off, if she wanted to. She lept, landing smoothly upon the deer's back and biting down into it's tender flesh. Her fangs found their mark, piercing the vital vein of her prey's neck. The deer fell, lying limply upon the ground. Kara smiled proudly down at her prey. She slowly dragged it back to where she had found it. She looked around to make sure no one else was there. She was glad to find herself in luck, and stuck her nose to the ground, looking for the fawn.
She found it not far off, hiding in a bush. It eyed her with fear, and shrank back. Kara growled down at it and with a snap of the jaw, the fawn was lying limply. She picked it up in her mouth and carried it back to set it down beside it's mother. She then sat down, trying to think. How was she going to get it back to the cave? she asked herself. She sighed. Perhaps if she called someone would come to her aid.
The air was shattered by her howl, long and sweet of tune. It lasted long and began to die away. She let out a couple more howls and then waited. She watched for any sign of others approaching, and also guarded her food. She had to admit she was hungry herself, and she began to eat a little of the fawn. It tasted good as it's warm blood trickled down her throat. She drew away, and decided to save it till later. She returned to waiting.
Antarctica raced after her love, her strides lengthening and her speed increasing. She barked and yipped happily as she ran along with grace and speed. Her ears lay flat against her head and her tongue lulled, flying back with the wind she was making. She drew up alongside Icewolf and wagged her tail happily.
