He turned his head the way the eagle looked but then went back to looking at the goats. "If you insist....I will return. I find it nice and refreshing to speak with someone...or something."he gave a wolfish grin before slinking onto the ground as he headed toward the goats, eyes on the young ones. If he killed several, they would last him. There were four, he counted.
The goats raised their heads, and he instantly went still, blending in well with his surroundings. He crawled baby steps, taking his time. He shifted to slide off the amulet, it only would make noise and scare away the prey. The goats went back to their business. The first kill was quick and quiet. One had wandered to far away and he took that for granted. Dragging the body away, he went back, watching silently.
The second kill didn't go as great. He had intended for it to be nice and quiet, but the young kid made noise and alerted the others. One of the rams bowed his head, readying to strike. He instantly backed off, taking his kill with him.

The eagles words rang through her ears. The wolven was going on a hunt? she thought happily. Her tongue lulled as it licked her chops, and her stomach moaned inside her. How the lovely taste of meat she had missed. She half wanted to dash up there, but she decided not to. She sighed, wagging her tail, making a line in the snow. She was so hungry, thirsty, and tired. She sat up, no longer lying down. She looked at them questioningly, trying to make up her mind.
She knew it was rude to intrude, but she might not have a chance later, though she also knew that she wasn't strong enough right now to defend herself if she ran into danger. At last she decided it would be better to approach them. She took a deep breath and relaxed, for perhaps she was overreacting. Looking them over for a moment, she then steadily moved towards them.
She stepped out, crystal blue orbs pearing at the others. She gulped and then wagged her tail. "Hi," she said happily, sitting down.

The giant Eagle shivered upon his perch. "Good show...," he muttered softly, so his voice was unaudable, watching as the goats were taken. Indeed, he took grim pleasure by watching this hunt, but he was even more surprised as another wolf popped out of no-where. In just the right time, the Eagle shook his giant head, making his white feathers bristle and curl up, as he hissed to avoid from making such a racket.
"Hush, you!" he boomed irritably, arching his wings threateningly as his sharp golden gaze fell upon the foolish little wolf, that he noticed was obviously a female.

The male had slunk back on the ground following the goats as they started to move. But the sound caught his ears and he looked back momentarily. But in that instant, the goats decided to flee, leaving him with only two young kids. Growling, he dragged one then the other back to the eagle. His eyes swept over the female. She was what had caused the noise in order for him to miss the goats.
Growling, he watched as the goats continued to go, mentally making note of where they were headed. He'd have to go hunting again soon, something he hated to do.

She winced and crouched down, "Sorry," she muttered with an innocent grin. She looked from the eagle to the wolven and then sighed. "I haven't seen anyone in a long time," she said, more as an excuse. "I'll go, if you wish," she added. She eyed the goats but scolded herself. Why should she feed on another's hunt. She looked down to keep from staring. She ignored her stomach and grinned. "Have fun," she said, walking around them and starting to head away.
She had seen the goats flee. She wondered if her luck was good at this moment. Perhaps she could find them again and have herself a hunt. She shrugged and looked back over her shoulder, stopping for a moment. She turned and sat down, as if waiting.

White feathers rustled as he moved to face the male wolf. "At least you have a few to fill that belly of yours, I say," said he softly, ungripping his left talon so he could shift his weight to a more comfortable position. His sharp beak turned to face the female wolf, to which he instantly spoke gruffly, "You needn't leave now, little she-wolf; the damage is done, but such a deed was more so a mistake, and we wouldn't condemn you for that. Come out into the open, if you please, she-wolf. Are you hungry?"

She cocked her head questioningly at the eagle, and then blushed and grinned. She carefully walked up and sat down. "Yes, I am hungry. But I should not feed myself on your hunt," she said with a nod to the wolven. "Thank you," she said, also giving a nod to the eagle.
She did not intend on not eating though, for she eyed the food and licked her chops. She was merely trying to behave herself. She laid down quietly, gazing about.

Nodding, he settled down to knawing on a leg, ripping the meat and spilling blood over the white snow and his white pelt. He seemed un-affected by it. His teeth made sounds as they hit against the bone that he had uncovered. He watched the she-wolf with slight interest. She looked as if she hadn't ate in days.

She ignored the eating wolven, her eyes distant. Her head was slightly to the side as it rested on her right leg. Her ears twitched and the smell of fresh meat was strong in her nose, however she still tried to ignore it. She sighed, licking at some of the snow. 'At least it did something,' she thought.
At last she stood, looking at the wolven with starving eyes. "Umm, can I just have a little of that?" she asked, though her tongue was lulling and her tail wagging fiercly. Her fangs gleamed and her stomach growled.

The Eagle sighed. "Very well," he crowed, dipping his head low, but not for respect. He was preparing for flight. Arching his great wings, he waited for the moment to lift, and he did, and was soon hovering many feet above the ground. He dived downwards, away from the two white wolves, his sharp golden eyes looking out for something in particular.
As he was once more in the air, displaying his breathtaking flight and gliding over the many jagged peaks and blankets of snow, he would issue a great call, which echoed across the mountains. It was sharp and eerie, like the echo of a great whale: it was a special call. Suddenly, the Eagle gave a sharp dive, nose first, as he was fifty feet above the mountain he flew over. A wild ram gazed up in terror at the site of the large eagle. It began to scurry off, leading the others away from the shadow that covered them all, but all was in vain. Terrible talons were wrapped over the body of the ram, and he squealed and kicked in absolute fright, trying to get away... But the Eagle was very strong.
Off the eagle carried the ram, still alive, and hardly breathing, due to the Eagle squeazing it to death, practically. But death did not come to the ram...
In no time, the Eagle flew back to the small gathering. There, he dropped the ram as the Eagle was twenty feet up in the air. The ram, still alive, bleeted loudly and tried to get away from the wolves, and the eagle. The Eagle landed, and shook his white plumage, unfanning his wide tail and folding his large wings.
"May the Mountain have mercy upon us all, declared the Eagle softly, as his sharp golden eyes watched the ram drag it's broken leg around for an escape route. He then spoke, once more, but loudly. "Ahh. There you go, she-wolf. I have cought you a ram, but you must catch and kill it yourself."

He continued to eat, as if not paying attention to her. He watched as the ram was dropped and looked at the she-wolf. "You have your own now."he told her silently, continuing to chew on the bone. He licked it slightly then looked back up at the eagle.
"Are you not hungry yourself?"he stared at the great bird intently, waiting for him to answer his question. Perhaps he wasn't.

She frowned, glaring at the ram. She sighed, and then crouched low, moving towards the ram with ease. Her hunger was giving her most of her strength as she eyed the ram. She edged closer and closer to it, ears lain flat against her head and fangs gleaming.
She at last pounced, claws sinking into the ram's flesh and fangs sinking into its throat. The ram let out a loud bleat before it slumped limply in her jaws. She grinned proudly, hauling the ram back over to the eagle and wolven. She looked at the eagle, "Thanks," she said, sinking her teeth hungrily into the carcass.
She ate ravenously, until soon her maw was stained red with blood. She looked up, licking her chops.

The wolf had gone to just licking his bone. He needed to save the food for later, since he didn't have very much. He began to dig in the snow, making a wide enough hole for two small carcasses. Before throwing the carcasses down, he put a layer of snow on the bottom to keep it fresh.
He dragged the half-eaten one in the hole first, putting another layer of snow on it, then burying the other carcass and putting snow on it until it was fully covered up. Protectively, he laid upon it, as if guarding it from the other two.

She watched him for a moment, and then looked down at her own meal. She shrugged and sighed, wondering if she should do the same. She proabably wouldn't eat much for a while. She looked around for a moment, eyeing the eagle, and then spread her large, white wings, soaring into the sky above. She flapped her wings, trying to get above the mountain peaks. Now that she was higher, she could see quite far around herself. She gazed at it all for a moment, before a chilly wind swept by her, giving her a shiver. She sighed and then swiftly began to descend.
She landed with ease, her paws sinking into the snow and her wings once more folding over her back. She hadn't seen a whole lot of food nearby for a while. She eyed the ram, for she certainly couldn't take it with her. She began eating at it again for a moment, and then began to dig a large hole. The snow was quite deep, she noticed, as she placed the ram in it. She then burried it up and sat down. Her tongue lulled as she panted thirstily and lay down, her head between her paws. She smiled at both the eagle and the wolven. "Thanks again," she murmered to the eagle. She was really tired, but she didn't think it best to sleep now so she forced herself to stay awake. She would sleep if they would sleep, she thought.

"No, little wolf, I am not hungry," replied the eagle with a eerie whistle, "if I were to eat, I would rather hunt such at the crack of dawn." He violently shook his head, ruffling his feathers slightly, and began preening them.
