He lifted one of his own wings, looking at it. "You know, I never caught either of your names..."he stated, looking up at the eagle, eyes shifting to look at the other. He remembered something and left momentarily, coming back with amulet in jaws.

"Name?" The Eagle laughed some, his sharp golden eyes watching the he-wolf. "I have no real name. But there are those of your kind who call me... Brother. Brother Wind, precisely. And what of yours, little wolf?"

The wolf looked kind of embarrassed for asking such a question. It was almost like the eagle didn't care about names, or so he thought. "Oh, okay....Brother Wind."he shifted to slip on his amulet once more, wondering if the eagle would care to know his name, or if it was just one of those meetings were you stay and talk then go away and forget each other forever.

She nodded at the eagle, "Your name, Brother Wind, indeed shows your greatness," she murmered. She sighed, "Well, my name is Nasrene, and I would like to know yours," she said, nodding towards the wolven. Her tail thumped the snow, and she waited patiently with curious eyes.

The giant Eagle looked curiously at the little wolf. Perhaps he had misheard his inquiration. Or perhaps the little wolf did not understand him. "What of yours? You have a name, ey? What is it?" He paused, allowing his head to turn to the other wolf known as Nasrene. "Indeed, Nasrene? Does such a name truly show my greatness? Little wolf Nasrene, I am not great. More so, if there was anything great, it is the Earth, and what She provides for us all. My size should not be judged by looks alone. Even the largest thing can be the weakest."

"My name is Lykaios."he stated after a moment's pause. He settled down in the cold snow, finding it refreshing. He always liked the cold weather. "Indeed Earth is the greatest."agreeing with the eagle, or Brother Wind, Lykaios shook his wings lightly to get fallen snow from them. He had just noticed that it had started up again.

Nasrene looked up at him and smiled, her crystal blue eyes sparkling. "I was not pertaining to your size, Brother Wind. But, tell me, exactly who are you among the other eagles?" she asked. "Indeed, I must agree. Mother Earth does give us much, in which we are greatful to Her for. she said with a nod. She then turned her attention to Lykaios. She smiled at him, "Interesting," she murmered, a sudden memory poping randomly in her head. She thought for a moment then shrugged, looking up at the sky. A snowflake gently landed upon her maw, then others fell on and about her. She stuck out her tongue, catching a few flakes that melted instantly. She grinned, "It's snowing," she said happily. She suddenly felt rather cold and shivered, "And getting colder," she added.

"Would you two like to see something rare and amazing?" said he mysteriously, ambling closer to the two wolves as his stature would permit.

A wolfish grin crossed his face and he nodded, standing up to look up at the giant eagle."Why not? I'm not going anywhere."he rolled in the snow slightly, glad for the snow falling. He loved this place.

Nasrene nodded with a smile. "I am always one for things like that," she said with a giggle. She wagged her tail happily and sat by the eagle. Crystal blue eyes were alive with excitement, as she gazed around.

A grin crossed the eagle's golden beak as well. "I know you two have wings, and can fly. But it won't help you, I say. Thus, I will ask you both to climb onto my back."

He looked at him slightly before letting his wings lift him up. "I should perch on your head."he laughed slightly, landing gently on the eagle's back. "I wish I could keep my feathers as nice as yours."he was slightly ashamed of the condition of his wings.

Nasrene shook her head, looking at the eagle. He was indeed big enough, and surely strong enough, but this was a little odd, she thought. She sighed, sitting there, thinking a while. She sighed with a shrug and carefully climbed onto his back. "Are you sure?" she asked. She was trusting him, but this just felt strange to her. She shrugged again, supposing it probably was needed and then waited patiently. [/center]

"Good show," stated the large bird, "hang on tight! But please, do not pull on my feathers, it will get irritating after a while." At that instant, he lifted his wings, and fanned his tail; and with a powerful flap, rocketed upwards at least ten feet. He tucked his talons, and gave another flap, and was soon sailing towards the heavens. Not that they weren't there already.
Air borne!
Wind rustled passed him, though he was undhindered by such. "We will be passing a portal! Remember, do not tear out my feathers!" cried he in a shrill whistle, over the roar of the wind, due to his incredible spurt and speed he was giving... OOC: I've edited a few things XD

He ducked his head, slightly looking over the side and at the world rushing below him. He tried not to hold on too tightly, trying to keep his claws from digging into his newfound friend."Where are we going?"he asked in a shouting voice.
