She poked her head out through the hole, and came back down with a face full of snow. There was so much snow that she wasn't sure if the blizzard had stopped.

She nodded, wiping the snow off of her head. "Yeah. This is going to be a fun time, isn't it?" she asked, leaning back. "Looks like we'll be stuck together for a while, unless you rather take your chance out there."

Malison cast a glance outside, then shook his head. "I have no desire to freeze to death," he said, wrapping his tail more snugly around his body.

"Perhaps you would like a little bit to drink or eat? I don't have any more meat, but perhaps some frozen veggies?" she shrugged, trying to smile.

He wrinkled his muzzle in disgust. "No thank you," he said somewhat curtly.

She recoiled slightly, but nodded all the same. She took out what looked like a frozen carrot and began to eat at it slightly, savoring and saving it.

"What do you think they get that meat from? The grass and other plant items that they eat, especially in the stomach." she replied.
