[Itena]

The pup thought.

//I never did cause, how does a pup name himself?//

He could never think of one himself, he always believed what his parents told him, that he was a piece dirt.

[Warlock]

Lucivar shrugged. "Find a name that fits what you are," he said.

[Itena]

The pup looked at Lucivar.

//I-I always wanted someone close to a parent to name me, but anyone who is close to me only wants me as their slave or something like that...//

The pup thought of what to call himself, but could think of nothing. Why couldn't he think of a name for himself?

[Warlock]

"Poor creature," Lucivar murmured, almost to himself as he gently nuzzled the pup's soft fur.

[Itena]

The pup hesitated.

//Maybe, um you could..um...name me? Maybe? If..you don't mind.//

The pup looked longingly at the older mascu. The famous puppy look shone in his orbs, hoping, wishing, that maybe...just maybe, he could have one thing that he wished come true. His life have been full of serving others, shuns, and abuse. Maybe one wish could bring him to think of his childhood a happy one.

[Warlock]

Lucivar sat there for a moment, a thoughtful expression upon his face. "Perhaps... Chiisai?" he suggested.

((It means 'small' in Japanese.))

[Itena]

Chisai's orbs glowed. There was no need for words to tell how grateful he was.

[Warlock]

Lucivar smiled at the pup's expression. It had been a long time since anyone had been that happy because of something he'd done.

[Itena]

Chisai looked to the entrance, shuddering as the wind picked up.

//How long can I stay her, Lucivar?//

[Warlock]

Black-furred shoulders moved in a shrugging motion as Lucivar replied. "Oh, I don't know," he said. "You can stay here as long as you want, I don't mind."

[Itena]

Chisai wagged his tail furiously.

//You mean it?//

Suddenly a shadow entered the cave, and Chisai whimpered.

Black peltage with lime green eyes entered.

//Come now pup, you don't want me bite your hind legs again, you've got work to do. You know you can't escape from me. //

The wolf turned to the stranger.

//Not a word of this, or you'll be sorry.// he snapped.

A fear awoke in the pup's eyes. His hair bristled.

[Warlock]

A deep growl rumbled in Lucivar's throat, a strange sound coming from one so small. Long white fangs were bared in a snarl. "You will leave," he said to the newcomer.

[Itena]

The wolf curled his lips.

//This pup is my son, you have no right over him, I think it is you that should leave. Or face a lost fight that'll leave you dead.//

The wolf was in fighting position.


Chisai growled and yipped.

//You-You can't make me go with you!//


The older male snarled at the pup. His paw swiped but missed.

//I'll teach you to shut you muzzle!//

[Warlock]

"You have no claim to him," Lucivar snarled. "Not if you treat him like that." The fur along his back was raised, and his orange eyes gleamed with barely-controlled bloodlust.

[Itena]

The male snarled.

//What's it to you, it' none of your business.//

The brute attempted to swipe Lucivar furiously. Then he swiped Chisai .

//And you, your gonna get a beating when I'm through with that wolf!//

Chisai yipped as the blow hit him,terror was in his eyes.
