The hellbound sensed that he was not really hidden. He shook his head as he saw the other change direction, slightly. He winced as he saw open lands fast approaching.
He was now only a few shadows away from leaving the wood. He paused looking out, wondering if he should go, or try something he had in mind.

The wolven smirked as the trees parted, basking his body in warm light. Lazily he trotted across the shriveling grass lands. His tail and wings were held high over the flamable grass.

The hellbound looked towards this, growling to himself. He sighed and then stepped from the shadows, slinking along, low to the ground, as if trying to be a mere shadow himself. Red orbs peared at the other, tongue licking his chops.
As he did so, he moved closer, until he broke into a rather fast pace so as to come upon his prey. He now thought he would have been wiser to have kept to the shadows, and challenged the other, giving himself the advantage, but lo, it was far too late now. And so, he continued to move along, yet still not making a sound.

The mascu watched as he walked into a strong wind. A smirk came to his maw. Abruptly he dropped into the dry grasses and spun around. Instantly the dehydrated plant lit aflame, the wind carrying the fires towards the hellhound. That wolven stood tall and smirked as the forces of nature brought themselves upon his follower.

Akuma glared at the other and then spread his large, black wings, lifting himself into the air above the fire that now lit the lands. He growled furosciously down and then flew high above, glaring down at the other. He then swooped down, diving with gaining speed at his opponent.
His teeth bared, his ears laid back against his head, fangs gleaming. Fire burned, and churned inside him, as his teeth sought to sink into the flesh of the other.

The wolven looked up fearlessly at that hellhound. As his opponent came faster and faster he stayed firm in his position. At the last possible second he fell to the ground and rolled out of the way, only getting grazed upon his shoulder. Yet even before he began to dodge the attack a wave of fire rose over the other. Now that their attack was complete the flames came down immediately.

Akuma growled, howling in pain as the fire scorched his hinds. He lowered his head, glaring at the other with cold, red eyes. He lunged foward, snapping his jaws. He swiped an outstretched paw at his apponent's jaw, claws pealed to sink into the other's shoulder.

The mascu eeped and dodged the attacks. It was more of a mishap as his footing slipped, carrying him out of the way.

Akuma growled glaring at his opponent. He trotted around eyes watching the other. His stomach growled with hunger, and his red eyes glistened. His claws scratched at the earth as he moved about. He again slashed his jaws at the other, though more in a threatening way than anything.

The wolven snarled loudly as his flaming wings held high. Heat encased the two as the flames licked over the mascu's body. Yet the other fires creeped at the hellhound with a sense of danger and pain.

Akuma felt the heat closing in around him, but he ignored it. He rose on his giant wings, so that he was above the other, glaring down upon him. He began flying in rings about him. He finally swooped low, again diving at his opponent, but this time, he swirved back up again returning to flying wings about him.

The wolven quickly threw his flaming wings up as a wall of protection. Heat and fire protected him loyaly. These flames were alive. They were a symbiote to this wolve. They caused pain but they brought comfort and power.

Akuma watched this with interest, for his swoop had merely been a test to see what would happen. He smirked, glaring again at his opponent. He gave another feroscious growl, baring his teeth and fangs. He saw that it was no use for him to attack from the air, unless he somehow caught him by surprise, or got around the wings. He looked at the ground, the fire that had set upon the grass now closing in around them. He shook his head, seeing as his chance of winning this fight was of a very small amount.

The voice of the mascu bellowed up to his opponent. "Be gone and I will not kill you. If you stay your flesh will soon be in my stomach." Those eyes darted around quickly, watching the other.

He smirked, "Oh, really? I have never heard of a wolf eating a hellbound. Quite interesting that will be, the day that happens, won't it?" he said, with a small laugh, that seemed to mock the other.
