The wolven chuckled. Oh he knew what the hellhound was trying to do. They were trying to anger him into a mistake. Well that wasn't going to happen. The wolven began to pad deeper into the open land, his wings protecting him.

Akuma watched, then followed from above. He didn't understand why the other had chuckled, what had he found amusing? He sighed, for he didn't want to admit that the reason he didn't follow by land was because he didn't want to get singed. He flapped his wings, going slightly higher. This other one, was intimidating him, and he didn't like it. He was getting frustrated and anoyed, and his stomach was growling angrily. Perhaps it would be better for him to find prey elsewhere, but where. He was unsure, but perhaps the other would go where food was. He shook his head, knowing that such would most likely not happen.

The mascu smirked and began to hum a tune. His steps were light as he trekked through the blazing field. Those flames simply licked over his figure harmlessly. His wings were held over him, it felt good to have them stretched.

Akuma glared down at him, another low growl escaping his black lips. He didn't want to just leave, for that would mean that he had given up, but he hadn't exactly won either. As far as for this point, one might say the other had one. But, he did sense that he was of high rank. His lips curled to release another growl, though louder than the last. Again his teeth bared and his fangs gleemed. He was so hungry.

The wolven gave a small yip as he reached down into the flames. He came up with a small rabbit that had perished in the fires. With a grin he looked up at the hellhound. "Do you want this? No? Ok I'll eat it." With a snap of his neck the dead beast flew a foot into the air and came down into his mouth. Quickly his teeth tore it apart, eating it bones and all.

"Will you quit trying to enrage me?" he said with a growl, red eyes gleeming at the other. He sighed, there was really no point in following the other. "You got away, this time," he muttered turning and heading off. He stayed to the air, scowering the land from above, searching for prey.
At last he found a doe and fawn that were alone below. He smirked and swooped down, claws pealed. The doe looked up, darting away, leaving the fawn. He landed, glaring at the fawn. He gave a smirk and growled, before snapping his jaws through the vital vein of his prey's neck. He then scooped it in his mouth, grinning as the warm blood ran down his throat. He again soared into the air, flying off to enjoy his meal, though it would hardly nourish him.

A low growl of pain came from the mascu as every flame in that field rushed back to him. The fires poured into his body, causing his fur to go rigid. When finally all of the fire had been sucked into his frame the creature relaxed. Slowly he began his aimless trek once again.
