Softly, the leaves rustled in the trees, as a soft wind came through, tustling everything in its path. Branches swayed and tossed about. The ground was carpeted by pineneedles and ferns, that came from the bushes and trees that gave the forest its green look and sweet smell. Birds rested and looked peacefully about at the world around them.
Suddenly, the quiet was broken, by the sound of a moving body. Birds scattered, soaring into the air and leaves and pine needles were tossed about under the swift moving feet. The sound of branches and things were heard being pushed about, out of the creature's way. A silvery figure could be seen, running swiftly and gracefully along. Her short, silver hair, was pulled half-back, and silver orbs looked around. A long, silver bow with strands of blue could be seen in her hand. A quiver of arrows upon her back. Soft, furry ears were lain back against her head.
She stopped and looked ahead. She had reached a fork in the forest path she had been following. Her heart beet heavily inside her chest. She looked down both paths and then took one, the left one, to be more specific. She dashed down it and slowed as she saw the form of a body of water ahead. She stopped and gaized down at her reflection in the clear, peaceful pool. It was a lake and she realized she had long left the path, for the lake was surrounded by soft green grass. She smiled and laughed at the form she saw in the water. She saw a grimy, dirt covered girl, who needed a bathe. Her clothes were stained and her hair notted. She pulled a brush from her pouch and brushed through her hair gently. Placing the brush back in its place, she stepped back. She ran, and dove, wincing at the feel of cold water but relaxed at its refreshing feeling. She sighed, and leaned back, washing herself in the water.

The small black form was curled up into a tight ball. Her red falcon wings rustled uneasily as the creature neared. The scent had long caught her nose, but she ignored it. It was just another by passer. Her white pads scraped against the ground pushing her back into the cove that was long worn away. After making this root bed her home, she had dug deeply into it's depths to make her home. She still was new, rarely leaving her burrow since last winter. She shifted once more. It was just another creature that would pass her by without another thought. She was satisfied with that.
A white tongue flicked out from her lips, and passed over her white nose. It was hot down in her burrow. She ignored it though. It was slightly comforting considering she could no longer use her abilities without hurting herself. Every time she used them it was as if something was slowly taking away her soul. Her very essence. Where something dark and forlorn was eating away at that little white light inside her, buried deep within next to her magic.
She shifted again. It was too hot for her. She moved once more, as she crawled out of the burrow. She stretched out her wings. She was right. She was a mess, covered in sweat and mud. She had to get out every now and then. After all, she still needed to feed to. Her ears stood erect as she stared at the strange being in the lake. She couldn't remember what that two legged creature was. She had no memory of it. Well, she had no memory.
She drew herself completely out of the burrow, and stood up. She shook herself off, mud flying every where. She ran her white tongue over her nose once more. She never thought it was funny to have white skin. She shook her wings, as she trotted towards the lake. She sat there, and watched the two legged dive into the water. What was she?

She lept from the lake and sat down by it, leaning on a nearby tree and sitting down against it. Silvery orbs pered about going across the land. She would have to stay around for a while as she had to dry. She sighed. I had better make myself at home for a while. thought she.
As her eyes crossed the landscape, she thought she saw a place that was burrowed. She cocked her head, looking about questioningly and stood on her feet. She slowly began walking closer, realizing it was what she thought, only much to large for a rodent or small animal.
"Is anyone down there?" she called down the deep hole. Her form was now nealing and bent over, waiting for a reply. She could use it as a place to stay for a while, if it was unoccupied. Apparently she hadn't noticed the other figure that was around.

The black wolf turned her head. Her ears were perked straight up. How the two legged got behind her, she wouldn't ask. Her red orbs blinked, as the white within her pupils darkened with her confusion. She didn't want to know what this creature was any more. Part of her was in fear again. As she felt that same fear when she got too close to heights. She shifted lightly, and turned to face the two legged. She didn't trust this thing. She couldn't.
Her wings shifted once more, as the scruff of her fur stood on end. She once more ran a tongue over her nose. Her claws extended and dug into the ground. The skin around her nose wrinkled, as her teeth were soon exposed. She was staring at this creature with much dislike. The white speck in her eyes had vanished, as she watched with hatred.
No sound emitted from her lips. She wouldn't make a sound. She wanted to see the power of this creature. It didn't see her yet. Which lightly surprised her. She was after all a dark dot surrounded by green. Her wings flattened against her back, as she took a step back.

Roenna whirled around, but would do nothing, yet. She looked curiously at the wolf, who was afraid of her? She was surprised at this but kept it to herself. She stepped foward. "Who are you?" she asked softly. "I am Roenna, why are you afraid?" She spoke in the wolven tongue. A tongue she had learned since she was only a child. She looked curiously at the wolf and took another step foward.
She could not understand what was going on, but she only did as she thought was best for the time being. She stood there, not really wanting to take another step. She saw the wolf's tenseness but was ignoring it.
She prepared to fight, but would rather not. She did not yet know if this wolf had powers or abilities. She herself had one, but she never used it unless it was necessary. She gazed at the wolf, slowly moving closer. She waited patiently for the answer.

She took another step back. What was this creature saying to her. She didn't even understand that much. Her fur stood on end, as her upper lip drew even farther back. No sound edmited from her lips, as she took yet another step back.
Her foot made contact with the water. It hissed and boiled as her fur was singed. She quickly drew her foot out. She had whiped her head around to look at the water. Her wings sudden unfurled, and stretched out. A cry of pain left her lips, as she quickly drew her hind paw out.
She stepped foward, meaning to get away from the water, forgetting for a moment about the two legged. She had turned her head around to see the two legged there still.
She stared, suddenly crouching low. Her wings once more flatten on her back. She was stuck between two enemies, and she simply wanted to get back to her burrow. If it ment she had to attack, she would.

((Umm, she was speaking in the wolven tongue so why couldn't your wolf understand her? )) Roenna gazed at the wolf warmly. She spoke again, "Don't be afraid, I am not going to hurt you." Her voice was soft and soothing, trying to convince the wolf that she was harmless.
She took a step closer watching the every move of the other. She wanted only to befriend the wolf nothing more. She hoped that following such would be that the wolfess would be kind enough to share her den for a couple of days, but only that. She could ask for only that if she got into the list of this femme's friends.
She fluttered her own wings, softly, and white wolf ears, atop her head moved about, twitching and listening. Her eyes were full of warmth and kindness. She kicked her boot slightly, shaking off some water droplets that sprinkled into the air. "C'mon, you can trust me." she said, softly and quietly.

(specail.. -taps ears- ^___^)
She stared at the two legged still. Every thing came in crystal clear now that she had her paw out of the water. Her paw hurt, and she wanted to return to her burrow. Was that so hard to see? She bared her fangs, but admitted no sound. She was still unsure weither or not to trust the creature, even if she was trying to be kind. She looked different, like something out of a bad dream. 'Who are you?' she called out. Her voice held the same tone of edgyness that she possessed in her actions. She would take two steps back in counter to the creatures one step foward, but she was kind of trapped still. She lowered herself even farther against the ground. The fur over her neck just barely brushing against the loose dirt.

Roenna saw that she was gettting nowwhere good with this wolf. She sighed and then began to morph. A white light engulfed her as she did. First went the head then the body and legs, and lastly the tail which was already there from hre human form. The light died and she looked up with soft blue eyes. "I am Roenna." was her answer. "Who are you?" she asked kindly.
She hoped that now she could make some reasoning but if she did not, she could say she tried. She said her words again, hoping that the wolf would be more accepting of her, now that she was in her own kind's form.
"You don't have to be afraid. I was merely trying to tell you that hoping to gain your trust." She looked at the wolf kindly, still hoping to befriend the wolf. She had before by doing this many times, but she had not succeeded every time. Perhaps this was one of those times, and perhaps not.

Her mistrust only rose, as her eyes narrowed. A growl admited from her throat, as her fur rose. No wolf should be able to do that. It was sorcery. The thing that Luna had done long ago. The thing so many others did against her. To hurt her. She wouldn't trust. She couldn't do it.
'Witch!' she snarled out. Her hind legs tensed, as she shuddenly lunged. Her wings out spread. She couldn't use them to fly, but to glide. That was fine. Or so she thought. She could feel the pressure building up under them, threatening to break them. She landed near Roenna's hind quarters. But she wouldn't attack. She darted into her burrow.

Roenna looked at her questioningly, whirling around and watching her. She trotted over to the burrow and peeked her head in. "How come you are living in a burrow?" she asked her, pearing around. "I thought only rodents did that," she added. She sighed and began edging her way into the burrow, but still keeping prepared incase she should have to dart out in escape. "And I am not a witch. Witches are evil," she said, frowning. "And I am not evil," she finished.

She moved around into her burrow. She shifted a bit, till her head picked her head out of the opening. She watched Roenna with narrowed eyes. Not evil? Yah right. She was changing her form before her very eyes. She growled lowly as she watched Roenna. She still wouldn't trust the creature, no matter what she was. 'It's more confortable than a large clearing or a cave.' she said matter-of-factly. Her wings were pressed tightly against her back, as her tail refused to move.

Roenna shrugged. "Well, you can think what you want, but there are many that do transformations. You obviously haven't met any," she said. She sighed, "And besides, what have I done to you anyways?" she asked.
She looked around. "I guess this place is nice, but as for me, I have my own opinions." she said, moving in and sitting on the floor.

She could feel the cool ground under her throat. She was watching the blade of grass infront of her, as if she suddenly expected it to speak to her. Her nose was wet, and cold. Her tail twitched ever so lightly in the burrow she had created for herself. Her wings rustled, a bit unconfortable in the small space. 'Two-leggers.. aren't right.' she said calmly. She had a pained tone in her voice. She gave the creature a simply shrug. 'I don't get out much.' She admitted.
