The blossoms on the trees above had long since bloomed and fallen, their dried petals now littering the ground like nature's carpet, perfuming the air with sweet summery scents. It was along the lightly dusted road that a lone figure paused in his travels, his back to any onlookers that may be about. Bending slightly, fingers picked up a rare rather recently fallen blossom, lightly rubbing the soft petals along the tips of his fingers. Breifly, the soft tender gaze of blue-steel orbs closed, memories obviously overtaking the better portion of his person. Heaving a light sigh, eyes reopened, their first expression of softness and concern now conceiled deep within him, for it was an emotion he could no longer show...at least not while anyone else was around.
A light breeze swelled and collapsed at Aoshi's feet, lightly rousting random strands of his earlength black tresses, as well as playing with his long cream colored trenchcoat. Quickly he crumpled the petals with his hand, dropping them as though they were nothing to him, a symbol of him letting go of the past...or at least letting go of as much as he could. Dertermined not to be troubled with "minor" things such as his memory, facial expression set at a serious tone and he continued on his way throughout the forest.

OOC: Alright Kiku, I'm going to make a different character, though technically the "same" as Lothlorien. Just... pretend that nothing has changed, ey? =P Because I want to create a more Japanese female.

Bare, pale feet of slender steps touched the fallen petals of which landed gracefully onto the fallen forest floor, swept over small sticks and colourful blossoms by what seemed to have clung to a two-legged's silken white gown. A gown, indeed; it was more so a tradititional kimono from a feudal country. Upon such kimono clung colourful threads that weaved to mimick an autumnal scene. In an unmoving breeze did apricot and golden leaves play, about this creature's skirt and sweeping, silk-shimmering sleeves. It seemed, however, that with each careful and sweeping step, did the leaves upon such silk tresses ripple as if they were caught by the wind.
Such creature that wore such a kimono was an elf of some kind, a specie that made her appearance fair: long, sweeping sheets of white hair fell down her back, reaching to her hips. Strands were tucked neatly behind slightly pointed ears, from which shimmering silver earings dangle unaudably from her lobes. Her face was smooth, and pale, as if caught in winter's morning, with a hint of blush across her cheeks like the rising of a sun through the fall of snow.
Indeed she was fair, and eyes of warm apricot to match, giving her a very warming glow. She seemed to be a gentle creature, and frail... like a snowflake, or a fallen Autumn leaf; if stepped on, would crumble for eternity.
Her name was Aki, meaning autumn, just a simple name to match her autumnal, or wintry look. For a while she was following this other person... whoever he really was... But they have met, briefly, after he had left something... or someone... She had thought of her leader for a while...
She was following a fair little away from him, but nonetheless too far to lose him from her sight. She then had bent down, her hair momentarily cascading like a white sheet of water falling unmercifully about her face. With slender fingers, one which was ringed with a silver band, she picked up one of the petals which Aoshi crumpled with his own fingers. She then rose up, examining the petal, frowning, as if understanding... It was obvious he indeed had left something behind, thus she released a very rash statement, but curiousity nonetheless left her. "You miss her, don't you?" She gazed up at Aoshi, still gazing with a sincere frown, holding that petal up to breast-height.

The rocks that decorated the pathway that lead through the forest tumbled about a bit at Aoshi's feet, his person comming to a skidded hault as her words seemed to grab and pull at him in a most personal way. For a moment or so he simply stood there, his back to Aki without saying a single word. However, he turned slowly to face her, his face fleetingly showing a pain that was almost as painful to look at as it was for him to bare and it looked as though he were about to say something, however, in a seconds time his head lowered allowing his hair to sheild his gaze and thus hide his emotions. "I have no idea what you're talking about..." Vocals were spoken dryly, as if he himself was speaking without really saying it from his heart...as if he himself didn't believe what he was saying.
However, as if to further his point that the past was now behind him, he dug a hand deep within his pocket and pulled out what had to be quite possibly one of the rarest and most beautiful flowers that bloomed, only to toss them to the ground and continued to walk. As the wind picked up, they gently blew them to the edges of Aki's feet, their appearance more visible now than before. Petals of the softest white made up this rose, it's tips decorated in pure gold. It was Aoshi's flower, his trademark, and had been given to the one he had given his heart. He had no need for them now, for their perfect fragrance only reminded him further of what he had left behind...a thought he wished not to dwell on anymore, eventhough it was tearing him up inside...which was apparent by his lack of conversation on the subject.

As Aoshi answered with a few wistful, gloomy words, Aki simply tilted her head to the side... but her warming eyes were understanding, but she did not persue the subject for the moment, for she decided that it was unsafe. For a fleeting moment, her eyes were cast upon the flowers of which her leader had dropped. They were tossed about rather dolefully at her feet, though it wasn't Aoshi's intentions to where these pretty things may have landed. With a melancholic bow of her head, she'd once more bend down, only just to pick up this delicate flower. Fingers carefully picked up the petals of the flower, her nails trailing about the stem gently. Eyes seem to shine as she observed it... Biting her lower lip, she pocketed the flower within her robes, feeling it was unnecessary to discard. She was discreet on this... she felt as if Aoshi would rather not have Aki keep the flower.
After a moment's pause by watching the sky above, from which light filtered through the trees and dappling her face with shadows, she'd carefully persue Aoshi, staring at his back pensively, a hand over her breast where the flower lay. "I had to leave someone behind, too." She said this quietly, fearing that her leader may expload at any given moment. Aki didn't know him well enough to know his ways. However, she knew well enough to tred carefully around his emotions.

((lmao...Aki is reminding me a lot of Misao (hopefully you know who she is from Kenshin oO; ))) The hardened rubber of the front of his boot lightly hit one of the many stones decorating the path they had chosen to tread upon, it's movment opposite to Aoshi, who had decided to come to a complete hault, deep stormy blue occulars watching as the small particle of rock rolled and clattered against the other stones in its way. His hands thrust into his pantspockets with his thumbs portruding out, he simply stood there, his back to Aki, apparently caught by her words.
He remained this way for a moment or two, simply listening to the sound of the wind gently breeze through the tree's branches, his eyes closing to their rustling as the wind picked through his long black tresses and toyed with his offwhite trenchcoat, slapping it about his ankles with light flapping noises.
In time, he eventually turned around to face Aki, eyelids fluttering open to reveil a slightly more understanding gaze of turbulent blues and greens, and although he still refused to smile, his words were kind nonetheless, spoken in softer tones and with vocals that were deep and dreamy.
"Sorry." There was a momentary pause in his words, as though he were trying to think up something more intelligent to say when instead he sighed lightly, his right hand lifting out from his pocket to allow his fingers to run through his hair. "..you must think me some sort of fool."
Attention returned to Aki's face, his hand now outstretching towards her. "Common...you shouldn't walk behind me like that. It makes me feel like i'm ignoring you." The slightest hint of a smile traced along the outter edges of well rounded lips, and he forced himself to relax...Blaze was out of the picture as far as he was concerned...he had left her behind so she might have a peaceful life with Tobias. And with the company he had gathered, it wouldn't be right for Aoshi to not try and do the same.
(fwah...i was listening to my immortal while rping this e.e; )
