Fake steel claws tampered with the chilly earth, winter time was here. Leather, literally leather, paw pads toyed with the light snow amongst the Earth. "Hmmm... lovely, glittery frozen sky-water!" The light, soft voice spoke as the odd large nose shuffled through the natural substance. Cold purple opticals gleamed as she looked amongst the land. 'Well, better now then never' The sweet, peaceful wolf thought.
Trotting forward to the closest ridge, Harumi gave a short couple of barks, then uttered a soft long howl into the brisk winter air. Obviously calling for some sort of lifeline to let her know whom this pack was, it made her anxious though, awaiting a pack leader of some sort. Would a vicious brute or judgemental bitch allow this peace-making, tired wolfess into a large pack? She shuffled forward, now watching the lands, haunches lowering into a sit. Micro-fiber ears fluffing forward in a prick.
Man-made mind sat into though, bringing up a large gust of powerful, brisk wind that rushed through her patchy fur and leaked into her stitches, cooling her sore muscles. Yes, this ragdoll had traveled a long way to get to.. wait, where was she?..

Haukea stopped, her white ears quivering in straight points. Sightless eyes blinked once, then the white wolf was off like a shot, leaping adn bounding over countless obstacles. She seemed to almost move through the trees, rather then inbetween, her form like a hazed wind. White fur blended with white snow, making her seem hardly a shadow. Barely there muscled moved her limbs, just to make her leap another couple of feet. Nothing seemed to will her on, only the ice like wind blowing up from behind the blind white wolf.
She stopped at the foot of the ridges, having found the source of noise. Haukea's nostils flared, unsure of the plastic like scent that filtered down the sharp rocks before her. She tilted her head up, her ears flat against her neck. The white wolf let out two short barks, her voice rough and commanding. She then sat on the ground, her ears pricked in anticipation of an answer.

Leathery harks withered at the sound of a reply, two barks. Curiouser and curiouser. Large paws shuffled in place as she contemplated what to do. Cranium tilted back, emitting yet another soft howl for the female to hear. Then, as she mellowed her tone she light scampered off to follow where the barks came from. Stopping when she reached a border of trees. Slowly she tilted her large head back, emitting a howl of her presence and annoucing where she was. Raggy-dollness was the weak expression on her stitched and scarred face as she stared out into the deep-seeming forest. Patchy coat shook a bit as she sat.
Harumi wondered how this would turn out, maybe they wouldn't accept this fake wolf into a real wolf pack. Maybe they'd find out she was just a rag doll, worth nothing. The flatly purple opticals staring out still, with wonder and confusion dancing together within her pupils. Sighing lightly she took a slump posture and waited and waited.. and waited..

Haukea walked towards the source of noise, her body liquid like in its movement between tree trunks. She stopped just before a tree, then seemingly moved through it. She stood a couple feet away from the other wolf, her descion to approach wavering. All the white wolf could smell was plastic and human, it confused her. Her nose quivered, taking in the many strange scents.
She sat down and cocked her head to one side, her maw barely a line. "Who are you?" Haukea demanded, deciding it was best to figure out what said creature was. Her voice sounded hollow and condensed, as if heard through a door or wall. Her grey eyes stared blankly at Harumi, waiting a response.

Metal cranium jerked to look towards the snowy wolf nearby, leathery harks wavering in place. "Harumi.." The soft, shy voice spoke, steel claws tampering with the natural soil under her paws. Plastic shoulders rolled under patchy fur and leather skin as Harumi dared to come closer to the other wolf. The first real wolf she had ever seen in person and this close. "Wh-.. who are you?" The confused rag-doll asked as she stepped closer once again.
It was weird, meeting a real wolf for the first time.. and herself not even real - she smelt of humans, leather, and plastic. How could this snowy-white wolf trust this.. this.. fake?

Haukea said nothing, waiting a couple moments to reply, "Haukea." She said simply. Her voice was cold, and almost dripped with ice. She took in another whiff of the one called Harumi's scent before turning her head to one side. The white owlf could not see the other, therefore she could pass no imediate judgement.
Her grey eyes looked over Harumi, and though she could not take her appearence in, she thought of her strange. "Why do you smell of human?" Haukea spat the word out as if it were poison, her jaws snapping shut with a sharp click.
