Black snapped out of her drowsy state and watched as all the pups were born.
She looked at all of them and turned to Emerald.
"Are you okay?"

"yes" She said sadly "but one of my pups isn't" She gently picked up the second born tan puppy. she gently lowered him down again. Her halo symbol glowed and a hole slowly formed in the ground. She lowered the pup into it and she made a thick sheet of ice cover the pup. She now focused her attention on her two living pups. One looked just like her, with silver fur, only she didn't have a halo symbol on her forehead. The other pup had black fur and light blue eyes eyes. He looked like their father. Emerald let them nurse and said "I wasn't expecting my pups for a few more days"

Black grinned a bit.
"Who's your mate?"
Black sat back down tensing a bit.

Emerald grew solemn. "My mate was Jeten" she said slowly and distantly. "One morning i woke up and he wasn't by my side. He left." "I have no mate and no family. No one would want to be my mate no, since i have pups."

"I must name my pups. The silver girl will be named Auroral, which means bright. The black one will be named Onyx, which means dark."

"Yes, Jeten looked like you and Onyx." Emerald's stomach growled loudly. She was hungry and exhausted. She lay her head down and curled around her pups. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.
