The slender sable femme sulks in slowly, glaring side to side and carefully stepping over any stone of twig in her path, too much noise would attract attention, attention this lonely femme did not wish for from just any wolf choosing to invade her privacy. Finding a quiet, secluded spot, she stretched, spreading her toes in order for every muscle to be supple, and proceeded to lay down, front first, followed by her rump. Watching her surroundings, she began to relax in the new lands.

An ivory wolf stepped forth. He was a massive fellow of about seven feet or so, and indeed bore true to his height, for he was of Morókí and Youroi blood. Thus, the two species created a shocking appearance for him, for he appeared as a burly creation, strapped with brawn and what looked cross between a bear and some sort of large feline. Alas, Kusu was pure wolf. However, thanks to his Youroi relations, his face appeared most shocking of all. Curious markings of an amber color created swirling symbols around his analytical organs of sight. To top it off, his legs were thick with fur, very bear-like, and his tail remained stubbed as if it was once lopped off, which was true for the most part.
Clearing his voice, Kusu allowed his it to be heard. "Good morning," he said edgily, brows lofting some at the idle timber wolf. Kusu felt that this meeting was very cliché - every often that he had engaged in greeting with a fellow wolf, it was always the friendly 'Good morning!' or 'Good afternoon!'. It could not be helped if Kusu sounded a little rude, let alone bored, but he made it clear that it was not the timber's fault. Kusu was a friendly, laid-back wolf, and perhaps if he had screwed up this first encounter, he'd have to attempt another way to be on this stranger's good graces.

A black wolf was wondering in the northern mountains, the dense snow covering his fur, making him appear almost pure white. He had a look of urgency on his face, as if he was looking for someone. He climbed over a small ridge. The snow had lessened in force and the snow on his fur had slowly begun to melt away. Fudo, as the black wolf was called, saw two other wolves as he reached the top of the ridge. Fudo was still cautious (normally very trusting) from the slaughter of his old pack in a far off land. He decided to use his power of temporary invisibility, to see if the wolves were good or evil, friend, or foe.

A reddish brown wolf had been exploring the white lands. Playfully bouncing about in the snow and chasing after small birds. Nava's head then perked up as she picked up a familiar scent in the air. The scent of other wolves nearby, how excited she was potential friends and packmates. The wolf followed the scent, wagging her tail as she got closer until she finally found two wolves. She was quick(perhaps too quick) to walk up to the other wolves and introduce herself. "Hello, my name is Nava who are you? You don't mind my presence here do you?I haven't been around other wolves in awhile"

Maoria winced as she heard the ivory wolf's greeting, sighing somewhat she turned her head and cocked it to one side whilst taking in her appearance. Ears twitched, but remained flat upon her skull. She pushed her self upwards with her forelegs and sat upright. A lean, slender wolf, perhaps not as big as some. Meeting her gaze once more she blinked a couple of times and yawned somewhat. "Is it a good morn, Ma'am?" she replied in a flat tone, voice whispered almost, as if it was ailed by a cough. Her ears almost pricked up as she caught the scent of the other two approaching wolves. One of them coming over, and introducing herself. Maoria closed her eyes momentarily and sighed a little. It was inevitable that she would attract attention, she thought to herself, afterall, she was a new smell around these parts. looking back and forth from the two, she introduced herself, rather soberly. "My name is Maoria, and no, I do not mind your being here...as it is not my choice, as it is not my land." she blinked once again and flicked her tail side to side, a little uncomfortable.

"Ma'am?" Kusu replied in disbelief, feeling his annoyance rise to the surface. He knew that this was a terrible idea, and had half the heart to walk away and fulfill the timber's obvious wish. "I'm no ma'am," he retorted gruffly. "Do I look remotely female to you?" A pause. "No, it's not a good morning," he continued sardonically, "because everywhere I turn there are idiot wolves surrounding me." Another pause.
"Ahh... sorry, I went too far there, forgive me. I don't mean that you are an idiot." An outright lie, but Kusu felt it better to stay on the timber's good side. After all, his voice turned delicate in an attempt to be sincere.
"I guess I'm just too tired. Good morning," he told the other newcommers, feeling his brain irked by the presence of others.

Fudo chuckled a little at the sable wolf's mistake, but took slight offense to the ivory's comment. Fudo was slightly shocked when the ivory wolf had found him out, Fudo became visible and walked over to the other wolves. "Hello, my name is Fudo." He looked around at his own body again and saw some snow that had still not completely melted. "I guess I shouldn't have been so surprised when you found me out." said Fudo to the ivory wolf with another small chuckle.

She nodded and peered in Kusu's direction "My appologies, but do not be offended...SIR...for I doubt that my oppinion matters much anyway." She lifted one paw and lapped at it gently, tryingt to look an nonchalant as possible. The other males presence unhinged her slightly though, as she knew it to be uncommon for a male to approach a femme at just any time, males being the 'superior' sex. "Is there perhaps something I can help you two gentlemen with? Or is it just that I am new?"

Even though the comment was directed at the ivory wolf, Fudo answered anyway. "Nonsense, I would welcome your opinion as muchas I would my own father's.". Father, the word brought back painful memories from his past. He put them in the back of his mind for now. "I am also new to these lands.". Suddenly he rememberd why he had come to these lands, to look for his brother, the look of urgency returning to his face.

OOC: In a roleplay, it is always best to go in the order that the users have posted in. It is suggested and a rule, as it does not cause chaos (not that there's chaos here, but I'm trying to prevent it XD). Besides, it gives respect to the user that is supposed to post after. ^-^ So this is a suggestion that we ought to go in order next time.
The normal posting order is set when people first start posting and continues on in that same order. (AS SEEN ON THE FAQ)
Example: Player #1 - Has started a thread. Player #2 - Has replied to that thread. Player #1 - Responds to Player #2's post. Player #2 - Responds again.
If a third person joins, then the post order continues from when he/she joined. Player #1 - Has started a thread. Player #2 - Has replied to that thread. Player #3 - Responds to Player 1 & 2. Player #1 - Responds. Player #2 - Responds. Player #3 - Responds. And this pattern repeats. If more than three people join, then the posting order follows the same basic pattern.
However, if that person has not responded for ages, such as a week or so, then feel free to respond before that individual because it is obvious that either the user no longer wishes to participate in the roleplay, or has simply gone inactive.

"I welcome anyone's opinion..I'm new to these parts too I came in search of something new and for some company besides the birds." The reddish wolf stared at a group of small birds in the snow, she quickly sprang up and chased after them. She watched as they fluttered away, she noticed the black wolf's face serious it was. "What's the matter?" she asked him.

The amassing wolves were beginning to create a tense atmosphere, it seemed, and Kusu felt it reverberating through the very earth itself. Once again, he felt that invisible tug that said clearly to leave and avoid any hostility that might occur, but Kusu knew that he had authority over all three of them. He understood that with such responsibility, he must treat it lightly and become more formal and polite. This was, after all, his training as an adolescent, but he was no longer an adolescent. A grown wolf. Enough to depend upon himself. As an Alpha's son, he had obligations as a kind of lesser-chieftain of Shinkou Ookami - especially being one of the first born, but never had Kusu himself taken up the Alpha position after his father died.
Such duties might have been too much for him. At least, that is what he had thought, with all the subtleties he possessed.
"My, my, my," said he, bring his nose up and down lethargically. "All newcommers, eh? Welcome to Shinkou Ookami; land of the wolves. 'Scuse my irritating nature... it is unexcusable." He spoke to all three in quiescence, trying to show modest embarassement, not that he was truly embarassement, but he wanted nothing more than to be like his father at that moment.
"The name's Kusu. I was born and raised here."
He allowed a moment's silence to be granted forth before speaking again.
"S'pose that's chivalrous of you to accept opinions," he responded to the redwolf, but he found that nothing more could be said. Turning to Fudo, Kusu was suddenly taken aback by the wolf's sudden flustered face. "Would I be too impertinent to ask what's wrong...?"
Kusu then returned his gaze to the first female he had met prior to the wolves' gathering. "Quite the contrary, your opinion matters very much, and I'd take anything you'd throw out at me, because, quite frankly, I am an ass." He tried to display a small smile to give the intention that he was just playing around, but he wanted his words to be meaningful so that the sable wolf would accept his unuttered apology.

Fudo was slightly startled by the question asked by Kusu. "I am sorry for my sudden change of mood, it's just I was thinking of what happened to my old pack.....i just can't help but feel responsible for it.....they were comepletely wiped out." Fudo was a little cheered up though by Kusu's comment after Fudo had explained.
OOC: sorry about the posting order thing....i read the rules..i just must have over looked it =P

She femme would smirk slightly, just a little out of the corner of her mouth, "You speak so loosely of yourself, but you reek of superiority" her nose twitched a little "But I respect authority greatly, and would not wish to insult you, even with permission, such a great wolf as yourself must understand what I mean? Afterall, I wish to make some kind of an impression, being new here afterall." she glanced to the other two and blinked "But I do feel somewhat crowded...isn't it easier to take small steps at all new obstacles...even meeting new people?" She seemd much more relaxed now, but still overly alert. "Surely you must have a family to be tending after, Kusu, I'm sure you cannot afford to sit around, idly talking to those of us lower down the foodchain."

OOC: maoria, next time wait for Zev to respond. ^^ Keep to the order that has maintained since you've posted first: Maoria, Kaoru, Demin, then Zev. I have been after you, but now the order is all out of whack and might begin to get a bit confusing. That is why we have a roleplay order.
