Moonlight pooled on to the dew-laden grass, making every blade of grass glisten. Hundreds of stars twinkled overhead in the night sky like little lanters burning brightly from the heavens. The ground is soft and smelled sweetly of freshly churned dirt and new, green grass poking out of the earth. The cool March air is still and everything seemed to be holding their breath to see what she would do... She sat alone in the center of the field. Her silver fur sparkling in the bright moonlight and starlight. Her ears are pricked up, listening for prey and predators. Her complex and beautiful emerald eyes gazing across the vast and dark landscape, looking for prey and predators. Her nose is tilted ever so slightly in the air, smelling for prey and predators. Suddenly, she lifted her muzzle to the full moon and howled a long, mournful howl. A howl that will dig up the emotion in even the most soulless and loveless person or animal. It was the howl of a loner. You may ask, "Who is this beautiful and lonely wolf?" And I will answer, "Her name is Emerald"

Vincent walked, fresh paw prints were laid as he walked. He walked on fresh grass. Sniffing his way to a place he could call home for the night. He heard a howl, a mournful howl. After trying to stop his curiosity from getting the better of him, he walked to the place in which he heard the howl. There in the distance he saw a lone wolf sitting, howling. He,deciding that it'll be better off leaving the lone wolf alone, he decided to turn around and keep on looking for a place to rest for the night. He stepped on a twig. Damn,he thought. Panicked he looked quickly for a hollow tree to go into so the wolf would not see him. Seeing no tree he decided to lay in a bush for the time being.

Emeral dheard the twig snap. She frantically searched the bushes. She saw what appeared to be a brownish wolf lurking in the bushes. She flexed her wings and placed them closly to her side. She walked forward slowly and cautiously. "Hello" She said cautiously

Vincent looked at the wolf. Though any other time he would have just ignored it but this time he replied, "Hello to you to." He kept himself ready for any sign of hostility. If worse came to worst he would fight back so he positioned himself just in case.
