Kohai forest was bathed in patches of golden hue as the seasons began to turn those few non-evergreens auburn shades. Activity was moving the forest with life as animals of all sorts went on through their routines to prepare for the upcoming winter. One such creature however, concentrated her activity within a goove of the bamboo forests. It was here that a female wolf known as Nanja, climbed high above the ground with her claws spread to catch hold of the soft bark to act as footing as she moved as quickly as possible from one pole to the next. Should anyone obsevere the unique actions of the pup, they may be perplexed indeed to wonder why on earth she would be performing such a task. Then again, given the appearance of her age and small size, it could probably be shrugged off as an odd sort of game for the wolf.

A lone wolf was wandering through the forest of bamboo. The wolf was a simple female of black fur like a raven, though her eyes shone an unnaturally goldenrod yellow that seemed to spark with every movement of her eyes. She had a slender body, though her neck area was thick with fur and a tad wavy. She was of a simple average height, and a bit scrawny also for her coming- of-adult age. The only thing that tarnished her appearance was the small rip of her left ear lobe, though at a distance it was unnoticable. She was an all around attractive wolf, though somewhat a bit dirty - she had only just finished amusing herself by rolling in a pool of mud earlier.
Once she reached a small clearing, she halted and picked up her bushy head. Something that sounded like claws grappling upon hollow wood was heard, thus intensifying her curiousity. A scent, vaguely familiar, kindled her naturally curious heart even more, causing her to bound forward. Her goldenrod eyes flashed about the area, her ears tilting in every direction upon the sounds of claws hitting wood.
"Is there someone here...?" she called boldly, holding up her head high as if challenging the phantom that made the noise. Her voice was girlish sounding with a high hint of spunk and attitude.

Nanja's ears picked up, her head curling to her chest in order to look towards the ground where she had picked up the voice. Her tail wagged, seeing the familiar form of a wolf through the poles. She liked to train, but making friends was just as enjoyable. Her jaws opened, to call forth a greeting as she moved to lower herself. Her claw caught on a thin pole with her attention diverted and the bamboo reed snapped from the sudden weight. Nanja began falling, but not before trying to catch a few other plants in the process. By the time she had landed, her decent had been slowed by the many trees she had desperatly grabbed for. Leaves and shreded bamboo portions came after her, some landing on the soil, others atop Nanja where she lay upside down on the ground looking dazed.

Electra tilted her head as the sound became louder. "Err..." said she, backing away smartly, for as she looked upward, she spotted a creature falling from the very tops. As it landed, Electra scrambled away to safety, instantly poking her head from behind one particularly large bamboo tree.
"Oh my goodness, are you alright?" Electra padded quickly to Nanja. Right before she halted in front of the small wolf (she thought it was a large pup at first), Electra exclaimed. "Oh, it's you," she grinned. "Sup, cousin. Take a little tumble off the bamboo tree?" Electra snickered uncontrollably. "What a clutz." She helped remove some of the twigs and leaves from Nanja's head by brushing it off roughly with her tail.

The world slowly came into focus, spinning slightly as her mind pieced together the vision of two Electras standing over her. Two? She could have sworn there was only one of them before... She shook her head, wiggling her paws in the the air for a second before rolling onto her stomach, clearing away the remaining shrubery that Electra had not gotten to yet.
"Aya! What a fall, guess I should pay more attention to where I put my paws. Yes yes, fine, thank you." Nanja stood up, glancing at Electra before turning her head quickly to her sides, looking all about in a panic. "Ahhh! I fell!" She yelled out the obvious. Turning away from Electra, almost as if she had forgotten the wolf's presence, Nanja's expression turned from shock to determination. "I've failed this time, so my next session shall be 100 times more difficult!"

"I can't believe I'm related to you," Electra replied in a mumbling tone. "Hold still while I get the... nevermind." She held back a grunt of annoyance as Nanja releived her fur of brambles.
"Good luck with that," Electra snerked, sitting back lazily upon her rump as she scrutinized Nanja closely. "Go ahead and kill yourself this time. There won't be anyone to save you then!" Electra was half-joking, but also a warning that if Nanja wanted to be a fool then that would be her problem. As Nanja looked away, emphasizing determination upon her face, Electra studied the bamboo. The surface of them all were tough and hard to penetrate, but like Nanja, Electra's claws were quite sturdy, too.
"Hmm... why don't we compete? I know that I'm way better than a runt like yourself!" Electra was simply taunting Nanja so that she may accept the challenge.

Nanja was completely ignoring Electra...either that or she had forgotten Electra was there and was thus talking to her. She was currently mumbling about enhancing her training when her ears twitched and peaked to their max height. "You will train with me then!?" The look on her face was of pure innocent joy, the runt plopping her front paws on the ground with a pound and wagging her rump in the air. "It is so much fun to train ones self to the limit, but training with a companion is much more fun!"

Electra smacked her forehead with her paw upon Nanja's response. "Okay, sure, whatever you say, hun," she replied, rolling her eyes behind her paw. She bit her tongue as to not respond with what she truly wanted to say, because Nanja was a blissfully ignorant dimwit and Electra so wanted to say that to her cousin.
