It seemed all the skies were watching her with eyes of cold metal and dead spirits. Those same eyes of stars that wolves and humans alike marvelled upon with wander and awe were the homes of spirits that had condemed her to live the life of a canine. A worthless beast. Although she did not wish to return to a human for what good was she with blood stains on her lips from her last kill? She wasn't human anymore - but she never was a true wolf.
Her paws felt uneasy on the ground, the new soil felt strange and weak. The soil of a forest was not something she had come across in a long time. She lowered her mussel, her sensitive nostrils lightly skimming over the surface as she breathed the scent of.. others. She not dare call them her kind incase the spirits decided to change her to a wolf forever.
The air was warmer now. Her ears pricked slightly, following the sounds around her that danced with a joy and life that almost lifted her heart. This collection of trees was something of a merry place, at least this was her first impression. Funny that she should feel this way. She scoffed at her own foolishness. Her past experiences with dark, dank forests had left her almost without an eye. Wolves were vicious, of course not all the time but every one had the capability.
Unusually, she felt the need to explore more of this forest she had come across. Although she did not waltze in with her tail in the air, no. She was too careful and fearful for such behaviour. So with the lightest of paws the young fae padded silently through the trees, weaving and dipping her nose at the trails and markings she passed. The moonlight was soft this night, lighting the path before her but still her eyes darted nervously, ears swivelling and her hairs quivering at every rustle.
Someone was near.

The sunbeams and darkness were commencement to reconcile on tufts clouds as they drifted. The eastern region of the atmosphere was darkening, the initial stars appearing and almost immediately followed by the moon. The trees were covered in snow, it was below 30 degrees out and the rivers now turned to ice. Colors of the forest darkened taking the lead that the sky gave. Soon, the brilliant colors would drain from the sky, leaving a dark, sparkling mass, with a glaring sphere to control it.
The stars shun upon the ground and owls were heard in the midst of the shadows. There was something lynching in the atmosphere, examining him, as if several were cloaked, staring Chain down, with its chilly eyes. But that fidgety emotion is nonentity but intuition, discriminating an unidentified motivation. He distinguished the sensation, but refused to identify it. Every corner he’d check back, he was tense; but Chain just didn’t want to illustrate it.
His transparent body made it’s way through the trees, going through anything that stood in his way. The sound of a crunch in the snow could be heard near. ’Someone’s here…’ He thought with a huff. His head slowly lowered and his lip curled, hackles raised as he narrowed his eyes and inhaled slowly. If it was a human, it would probably run away at the intimidating sight of the dead “rabid” wolf, but it would be just any other being to another fellow one. They were near and only within 30 feet away.

The soil did not last long beneath her feet, icy snow touched her paws. Her fur shielded her against the worst of the cold and for that she was grateful. She would be half dead if she were in her other form for no fur graced her human soles.
Feeling the brisk air tickle her whiskers she breathed in and realised that the company was not an ordinary wolf. This creature reeked of death but not of a rotting carcass, just.. distance - like fog or mist. Like something that wasn't breathing yet was in the air itself.
Her pale amber eyes caught a glimpse of someone or something but a number of leaps away. She locked her gaze - intense and stirring. Everything inside her screamed for her to flee, to escape from the ghostly creature before her.
But she did not.
Spirits were the creatures that had ensnared her in the depths of his wolven form and even though one's first thought would conclude her as being deathly fearful of them, this was not the case - at least, this was not what she showed on the outside.
Huyana did not intend to let herself relax and become a target incase this was an unfriendly spirit but from her experience all spirits were unfriendly sorts. Despite this anxiety she took a hesitant step forward, dipping her head in a sort of submission and curiousity. She exercised great causion concerning what this deceased being would consider her should she choose to act one way or the other. She couldn't rely on the saying that the dead was just that, dead, for her eyes were not deceiving her as a ghost stood before her at this very moment. Her jaws were tightly locked, lush tail flickering as she waited for a response to her single step.

Ooc: Yuck... Short and sucky post... Wow really sucky. xD That's just sad... ._.
IC: Chain paused, frowned upon his own misguided deed. He raised his cranium and nodded, he wasn’t the appalling chap in all this. One foot in front of the other, the essence gradually made his way to the youthful bitch. His silence became golden and equaled the silver haze that mysteriously covered his brilliant pale eyes in shadow.
That essence, power hell, even the emotional feeling Chain got. This time he was sure though, no. He couldn’t let somebody like that to control his life. Syndrome was just screwing around, messing with Chain’s head. That bastard had every intention to control his own brother’s life; the jackass couldn’t get one himself. Chain found himself wandering off, yet again. Before long, he finally remembered the situation he was in. The essence lips parted to let loose a hesitant word.
”Sorry…”
Chain’s voice echoed slightly and he turned briefly and looked wearily from side to side, as if checking to see no one was watching. Chain remained stationary for what seemed like hours, but his attention span could have been but for seconds. He glared at the moon and stars, as snow lightly fell; it was a beautiful sight.
”It’s beautiful, isn’t it? The stars and the moon, they all go well with each other.”
After a moment he started to hum, it was as if nothing just happened. He seemed almost oblivious to the fact that the living stood in front of him. He didn't hum anything in particular and the notes were mainly low and dissonant; the song spoke of a deep concealed want though. It was as if he was almost singing to the heavens, impossible though. Chain listened blissfully to the song, in hopes his company would hear it out.

(OOC - It's not sucky, don't be so hard on yourself. -pats you on the back- Besides, I'm not that hard to please lol! Now my posts on the other hand, let me just say I'm a little rusty...)
As he advanced slowly towards her and allowed himself to be before her. How strange a creature he was, surrounded by all the atmosphere of a supernatural being. An eerie feeling was tugging at her but was overpowered by a sense of amazement. She had never spoken to a spirit before, nor had she been spoken to by one. It was odd that she should find comfort in the presense of one whoes kind she loathed silently with almost all the fire her soul had left to offer. Still one tiny spark was reserved for something else that all should have the right to experience in their life. But she had locked this seemingly insignificant cinder away, praying that one day she may have the time to use it.
The silence was melted away and she came to realise that the brujo was humming. Everything around her seemed to be filled entirely with his essense of mysteriousness, the moon, the stars, the trees, the snow - they all glowed that much more under the trance of his song. A song which caused the fae's harsh gaze to soften and become tender with a feeling of ease. Undoubtedly she would answer him, but she just waited a little while. She did not wish to intrude upon his music but nor did she want to sound rude so she carefully parted her lips and replied,
"Yes, I have been far from the beauty of a forest for some time... The stars and the moon have always guided me. It is refreshing to be in the company of the trees once more."
Her words merely managed to raise above a whisper. It felt as if her maw had been sewn shut for years but this was only an illusion. She just hadn't had anyone to speak to in a while. Alas the emotions following his song drowned under her own manipulating mind and had trapped her again in a state of nervousness. Not only did she feel vastly uncomfortable, it came to her attention that she did not know his name and nor did he know hers. The exchanging of names would surely be crossing away from the line of a stranger to aquainances. Feeling her ears pull back and her dark lined back quiver, she became aware that she was more frightened than she had first imagined. She held her breath, awaiting what she did not know and cut apart the silence for a second time.
"Forgive me but... What kind of a spirit are you?"
Curiousity had stollen her tongue and never had she suspected it was in her. To speak so to one she did not know. It was as if her fears had run away for a while to dance under the moonlight leaving her free for a mere moment in time. This would be bliss but her curiousity had the intention to find out whether he meant to cause her harm of any kind, her mind was so used to protecting itself against it's enemies - whether it be itself, another being or those which had committed crimes upon her in the past. Spirits.

OOC: Again, sorry for the suckish post, but I've been up all night, it's now 2:59 PM. Plus I’m sick. xP Again, sorry for the torture. xD
IC: The brute reclined his cranium and fastened his eyes, something he had always done to help himself concentrate. The darkness of his eyelids was calming, which was told by the silent sigh that now fell from his strong jaws, ears swiveled on his head to pick up the sound of any other steps. His breath formed clouds in the cold air, and he spent a few moments watching them disappear into nothingness. His gaze dwelled over the trees surrounding them.
”What am spirit am I? Girly, I don’t even recognize who or what I truly am… Just think of me as, a Guardian Angel.”
It’s been almost 90 years now and he hadn’t the slightest clue who or what he was. At this point in life, he couldn’t reply truthfully; for all Chain knew, he could’ve been a demon from hell, doubtful. The essence itself was attached to the earth, for one reason or another.

(OOC - Think nothing of it, we all have lives away from the computer. I completely understand. Not every post has to be a masterpiece.)
He did not know it but he had answered her question well enough for her to take a few more fleeting steps towards him. His impression of himself of a guardian angel must mean that his intentions were pure, or at least pure enough to allow her to be unharmed. He seemed friendly enough. The fear that had been slowly but surely dwelling and growing inside her subsided and she managed to feel a sense of relief. Drawing her tail around her paws and she lowered herself to a seated position next to him, she gazed up. He was right. The moon and stars were looking particually splendid this evening. As her mind eased into the situation so did her body. Her tense muscles relaxed and she slipped into a state of peace. Strange that he should have that impression upon her. She had always felt alone. Maybe a guardian angel was just what she needed.
Understanding that her own soul was tranquil, she could now properly introduce herself. It was a good feeling to know that she could still draw the courage to do such seemingly simple tasks. She could still function. Her torn mind would not get the better of her yet.
"I see..."
She had no idea what he meant. He must be a very old creature to have forgotten who and what he was. But if the years had plagued him they did not scare him as one would except. Although it was clear in his shockingly luminous eyes that he had seen things, terrible and wonderful things. Even if he did not recall them.
"I suppose I am to introduce myself,"
She found herself stalling but controlled herself, pulling on the reigns of her will.
"My name is Huyana."
She turned her cranium slightly, glancing upon him. Perhaps, he would soon become aware of one part of her own history. Her name was that of Native American culture. A human name at that. She breathed in deeply, the crisp air filled her lungs and she held it there for a moment, enforcing the chilled sensation of the coldness outside and inside her wolven body.

Ooc: SOrry hun, I was sick and had to rest. Now I'm back baby! Btw I would like for somebody else to join? Anybody? Anyone?
IC: Chain felt rather peaceful with this bitch. His once cold smile seemed to have faded away, not that he was in love with Huyana; but felt more relaxed around her. Chain felt as if he could actually trust somebody; after all, he could sense her presence and weather or not if she meant good or evil.
“I’m Chain…”
Huyana, that name was so -- Human like, if you will? It rung a bell and sounded rather familiar but Chain ignored it and glared at some movement in the trees. His gears almost shifted and a fire was near lit. ’Who’s there? Where the hell are you? What do you want from me? Leave. Now.”
Chain screamed silently to himself as he stared into the nothingness. He felt his muscles jolt, as he got ready to leap. Though, he couldn’t do much as a spirit, it would be useless to attack. And yet even still, Chain seemed to be content on playing out the fact of his once real form. Now though, he’s just a see-through picture.
“Do you feel safe…? Here and now…”
His voice staggered as the sound of snow crunched under another’s paws. Somebody was watching them and Chain didn’t like it one bit. For all the essence knew though – It could’ve been a deer or a rabbit even. No, the steps were larger then a rabbits’ and more mature than a dears’.

(OOC - Yes, I agree, we are in need of another's input. Anyone want to put up a paw?)
Huyana listened with curious ears as he spoke his name. Chain... It was somehow appropriate. She felt there was common ground between them for his name didn't seem to be just a name. If that was the case, they were both captive to something.
Suddenly her senses caught hold of a scent, one that was foreign to her. Her attention turned and she cast her eyes upon the vegetation. Not only could she smell the creature, whatever it was, she could hear it also. It's footsteps were faintly heard through the snow-covered underbrush that surrounded them. Now was this stranger a villian? She did not know, until he or she revealed his or herself to them he was just a shadow in the trees.
She almost didn't catch Chain's forced words. She glanced back towards him and paused. He could not fight if this creature was of the living as she. She would fall prey if the creature had ill intentions. Yet, this little fact didn't phase her. She had looked after herself for a while now and was certain that whatever it was she could handle it. Besides, Chain could easily bluff his way into scaring off a dangerous animal. How odd of her, to put that kind of faith in him. But he was being such a kind being. If they were to spend more time together, she was sure he would make a wonderful friend. She did long to have company, even though she was terrible at keeping it.
"Safe enough to say yes... but,"
Her eyes danced around for a moment before finishing her sentence. She was sure he could sense it too.
"I believe we are not alone.."
She murmured softly, her voice lowered so that only Chain could possibly hear. She did not want to let the little visitor know they were aware of his or her presense incase this triggered an attack. That was the last thing she wanted.
Her claws gripped into the snow, the slightest crunch was not even audible as she prepared herself to either chose flight or fight, depending on who the stranger was. Her amber eyes were glassy from the cold as she stared through and around Chain. She found that the hairs on her back were quivering, waiting to rise in defence. Whatever it was, she was as ready as she would ever be.

Indeed, the Kohai forest was a frigid wonderland, but that did not bother an enigma floating through it. And such an inexplicable creation it was, that would soon appear before the duo creatures in the darkness.
The glowing orb flitted ever so silently through the trees. The only sound surrounding it was the soft chirruping of crickets and night hawks, with the occasional hoot of an owl. The orb was a small, gossamer smoky-blue, and would appear to wander aimlessly like a lost spirit. In truth, the orb was a spirit, and a mysterious one at that, but it's intentions were not lost. It was a strange, secretive ghostly orb, never quite shifting it's destination.
Over boughs and through the leaves it still wandered, looking like a blue comet as it left behind a trail of dark blue smoke. A soft humming in the distance seem to captivate the spirit, more so entranced. Not before long did it slow down, hovering in the midst of the two creatures.
For a moment, it simply hung in the air, but appeared to be issuing a strange kind of misty matter that would sparkle in what little light that permeated from the bare boughs of the canopies.

Ooc: I didn't see that Kaoru replied o.o
Ic: The respond Huyana had given him was actually redundant. Chain was the one who asked and though and she had simply replied.
’Safe enough to say yes… but I believe we’re not alone.’
How correct they both were, not long after a small cloud came into sight. It was relatively, astonishing if you will. It was most exquisite and astonishing. A sapphire blue puff was all it was and yet, for all they knew it could’ve been the most ill intentioned individual on earth.
Seemed most likely a spiritual individual. Maybe perhaps even a spirit itself, most likely. Chain’s never saw anything like it and for as beautiful as it was, he still had to take precautions. The Brute wasn’t sure if he should attack or wait for it to make first moves.
Perhaps an additional quintessence to of which necessitated of companionship, it sounded about right. Two spirits and one living female, though, in fact Chain couldn’t even tell what the sphere of poof was. Weather it was male, female or a merely a precipitation obscure. He doubted it though, he could feel it’s life and it’s presence itself.
Muscles tightened underneath Chain’s evaporated tissue and fleece. The essence’s lean neck twisted as his eyes followed the cobalt cloud that appeared from oblivion. His orifice arched to represent his white fangs; fleece bristled to create his manifestation emerge greatly superior to what it truly was. It was all brainpower though; Chain couldn’t hurt even the smallest of flies. Not in this shape anyways.
“Speak.”
That’s all he said. Not coldly nor was it warm in anyway; more challenging. If anything, the slightest Chain could do is defend his innovative comrade, perchance?

Even with their new acquired companion, seemingly another ghost as it was, these three would discover they were still yet to be joined. The cold winds blew about here, endless falling snowflakes adding a fresh layer to the blanket of snow that covered the earth, as if it were maids smoothing out the comforter on a very large bed.
Pale lavender paws made soft fresh tracks in the snow that would not take long to be covered once again, despite the fact they weren't in a blizzard. Pale blue, opaque eyes searched the white terrain for signs of other life besides herself as she was rather new to these packlands. She had a petite build, her form carried along rather gracefully by her rather long legs. Large eagle-like wings were held at her sides, blending in with her lavendar pelt, feathers rimmed and tipped in white that faded in with the silver swirls that whispered through her thick, soft fur. Rather long, very thin tail swished lazily about, the thick tufts of fur on its ends dipping into the wet snow every now and then. She apeared quite fragile, which she was to a point. Yet, the most distinct and interesting feature upon this wolfess would be a pale violet colored moon was embeded in her right shoulder.
She paused mid-step, ears perking suddenly. Voices. She heard voices, quite near. She changed her course slightly, moving toward them. Wolves - wait, she could smell only one. Semi- related to her. She was quite delighted, and a faint smile grew on her pale lips. Perhaps it was belonging to these lands. This was perfect, yet she was getting ahead of herself. And yet, it didn't make since.. she heard more than one. She easily approached, watching from a near distance momentarily. Yet as she did so her eyes widdened. Ghosts... it was no surprise, she had seen them before, many a time. But, it was the answer to her question.. besides that. She stepped foward, curious and rather excited.
SNAP!
She looked down, biting her lip. "Dangit," she muttered under her breath softly. She had just stepped on a twig! Typical... wasn't that so common? Yet everyone did it. She inwardly sighed, well, no going back in time now. No doubt they would have heard her. They would've learned of her presence sooner or later anyway, why not sooner? She continued to move foward, placing a smile on her face, eyes curious and friendly. "Greetings."
