The twig that snapped made a sound that shot through her senses like an arrow, piercing with jaggard echoes in the snow covered forest. This rude invasion caused her much startlement and she proceeded in leaping into the air, all four paws leaving the ground in an unnatural fashion. She landed with a thud and she scampered around further behind Chain. Perhaps she did feel more threatened than she herself had known and has infact wrongly informed the male ghost that she was using as a shield.
Her twitching ears flattened in embarrassment, her tail clinging to the inside of her left leg. She given up playing the strong, fearless being. She was surrounded by spirits and wolves. Two beings she didn't care much for. Even though she was sort of one of the two. She couldn't determine what she was now. All she knew was that she was afraid and couldn't bear the thought of harbouring a worse fate than she did already - that would be far too much for her heart to be burdened with.
Her flitering gaze crossed uneasily between the light and the wolf garnished with eagle wings that now began an advance. She studied the enchanting creature with fear but awe also. She couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the beast. She looked down at her own plain coat and her brow furrowed. For once she felt jealous of a wolf. It seemed that the spirits not only made her a wolf, but made her a dull, even ugly pelted canine on top of that!
Her attention was ripped from herself as the mezmerising creature uttered words of greeting. Her voice was just as pretty as her coat and silvery, cloud like wings. Such a blessed wolf was she.. Surely such a beautiful wolf could not mean to draw blood? That was enough to convince her and Huyana gradually relaxed. Yet still she found no tongue to offer a reply.
