Naxus' walk along the lake

Naxus walked alone along the shore.
She certainly didn't need any wolf to be there for her.
Naxus' scar began to hurt as she gazed into the serene glistening waters. She saw the stars loom around her as she tought how tired and hungry she was. She decided to sleep; though she did not know where, she was new to the pack. She looked around one last time, then drifted off to a long silent sleep. When she awoke, she found she was surrounded with different settings; a lake, shimmering like the full moon, and a pale blue sky with milky clouds. Naxus' coal red fursagged in the brambles as she approached the lake to drink. She was parched, and began lapping the water vigorously. After she was quenched, she ran like the wind until she was at the other bank. She drew power from within; and all of a sudden she was drifting across the lake at top speed, foaming water at her tail. Her air power carried her across. She tought she saw a brown shape move in the corner of her eye. She was now on woodland, and stalking through the grass. Naxus' belly was low to the ground: so low the rabbit was unaware of her mighty presence. She leapt and dispatched the rabbit with a swift bite to the neck; and began eating.

Black crept up through the grass, ready to pounce on the rabbit. Unfortunately, another wolf had already caught it. Black layed still, ears and tail low watching the other wolf. She stared at how tall it was, for she was shorter.
For a while, she stared at the wolf, eating the rabbit, nearly falling asleep.

Naxus could smell a scent coming from behind her. Though it was muffled by the smell of rabbit, it was surely a female. Naxus spun round to meet the other's gaze, a fire in her eyes. "Who are you?" Naxus asked, "Did I get your kill? Oh well, there are plenty more around." Naxus wagged her flaming tail back and forth in anticipation.
The other wolf was like none she had seen; she had not seen many, but sat and waited for the other wolf to reply.

Black jerked back a bit, startled by the sudden movement (or she thought so because she was sleepy). "It wasn't my kill, cause' I didn't kill it." Black sat up, her black fur hardly shining a bit; comes to show how much she sits on dirt. She shaked her fur, and disappeared into the grass, continuously rising her head and lowering it. ((lol))

[naxus]

"I suppose...what is your name? Mine, Naxus. I am an amberfire." Naxus made an effort to be calm, when her nature did not permit it. Naxus just waited, kneading the pebbles with her paws. "Well, have you eaten? I have a stash of prey in my cave." Naxus offered. She was tearing at the rabbit, eating it with care. The other wolf was watching her, and she felt the heat of the other wolf's gaze.

"Err... I'm Black!"
Black suddenly popped out of the grass, turning to face Naxus.
"An amberfire? Whats that?"
Black went silent for a moment, thinking.
"Well... Maybe I could... I haven't eaten either..."

[naxus]

"Hello, Black. Come to my cave. I caught a young roe deer earlier this moon. I have been saving it specially, we shall eat." ^{Naxus' flaming fur shone like the new sun in the sky. The sun was king of the day, it's fiery greatness making Naxus' fur bristle. The fur all around her, both her and Black's, were being in the sun for too long. She could see black's fur was absorbing the heat; they needed a meal, and Black needed water. Naxus' mouth watered at the thought of fresh kill.}

Black followed Naxus into her cave, having the thought of winter in her mind, which made her heat up.
"Nice. But whats an amberfire?"
Black, having not seen more than 4 wolves in her life, did not know any other species than timber wolves/gray wolves.

[naxus]

"An amberfire is my breed of wolf. We are of fire spirits, and greatly like to hunt." ^{Naxus thought of where the deer was, and lifted the rock. The deer was very handsome, and it's meat could fill Naxus alone for days. But Black was here too.} "Come, Black, eat!" ^{Naxus felt an anger come over her and began ripping the meat off the carcass. To her, it tasted like the most delicious meal, she had not eaten for days.}

Black hesitated, but still came to start feeding on the deer.
"Okay."
Black glanced at Naxus in wonder. Then she continued to feed.
To Black, it was like an ordinary meal.

oOc| hey naxus - sorry I just realized this, but...you can't have the same character in more than one thread. x.x; sorry about this, i would have told you earlier, but i didn't see this thread.

if kuroi didn't mind, black and naxus could come over to the "Deaf Ear to Joy" thread, where naxus already is. or you could just stop the thread where it is. it's up to you, but you can't have the same character in two different threads, unfortunately.

OOC- 0.o Um, not to be rude, but she is right. Even here at SO, that's quite...how should I put this...impossible? Well, one can't really be at different places at the same time...ahh...sorry. But it would help to switch to one thread and stop the other. Either one is ok. It's your choice after all.
