Alone at last

Duemos yawned again, she felt like she could pass out at any minute. "Don't get me wrong, I love my life the way it is. It'd just be nice to know who my parents were." She said, half whispering as she finished speaking. She looked to the path in front of her and thought for a few seconds, trying to remember just where her brother was. "Iunno, last I remember he was in some place called Escavas. He'd kill me if he knew I was hangin' around in this city." She sighed again, still not wanting to talk about herself. She decided to change the subject yey again. "So where you headin' too?"

Cecilla shrugged. "No where really, I have no set place I just want to wander for a little while." She answered The noticed Duemos's yawn. "Do you want to go some where to rest?" She asked stopping to stand in the street her eyes trained on where she guessed Duemos was standing.

Duemos sighed again as Cecillia spoke. Duemos had to get some kind of rest soon, or else she was going to just fall asleep in the middle of the street. "Ugh, too tired. Come on, Cecilla. I got a little place where we can rest, it's not much but it'll keep ya warm and dry on a rainy day." She yawned yet again as she finished speaking, two days and of no sleep will do that to you. She trotted down the white marble road for a few minutes until they were a few blocks from where they had been. The small building they had stopped in front of (assuming Cecillia followed Duemos) was unlike the rest of the buildings in the city. The other buildings were made of marble and were some of the most beautiful things you could have ever seen, but the shack that the duo had stopped in front of was made of wood and wasn't nearly as big as the marble construcs around them. It was still more than big enough to fit the wolf and anthro, but it dulled in comparison to the marble around it. Dumoes slowly made her way into the shack and lay down on a small matress in the corner of the one roomed building. She motioned for Cecillia to enter (still assuming that she followed)."Come on in, Cecillia. There's another bed if you wanna rest for a few minutes."

She followed Duemos careful to stay near her so as to not get lost. Stopping in front of the hut she blinked. "So this is were you stay?" She asked following her into he building she made a beeline for th other mattress, a sigh on contentment leaving her body as she lay on it. "I didn't know I was so tired." She found herself saying her eyes once again closing.

Duemos chuckled when Cecillia just plopped right down on the other bed, laying her head down on the matress that she was on. "Just starting out on your own can make you tired just by thinking about it. It's how I was when I first started traveling." She said lazily, yawning again before closing her eyes, but still not quite asleep yet. "Time for a good long nap."

[Lemur Lexi]

Cecilla let out a small laughter before nodding. "I do believe your right Duemos it is time for a good..." She never quite finished her sentence as she drifted off to sleep her head slouching a little as she snuggled into the mattress another sigh escaping her.

Duemos chuckled again as Cecillia finished speaking. "You seem just 'bout as tired as I am." She said, curling up into a big black ball of fur. "Damn, glad we finally made it back here. I'm bushed." She said lazily before closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep.

((what say we make them wake up later that day, like at night or something. Or even the next day if they're that tired XDD))

Cecillia yawned and streched. Blinking she noticed it was darker than when she had first fallen asleep. Yawning again she stood up and walked out the door for some fresh air.

Duemos didn't have the relaxing rest she was hoping for, nightmares had been plauging her mind. Visions of death, evil, and demons were the things going through her weary mind. She thrashed about in her sleep, whimpering as if she was in a state of extreme fear. "No-no! Stay-stay away from me!" She yelled, still sleeping and thrashing around.

Cecilla took a deep breath of the night air, her arms wrapping around her shoulders. Letting out her breath her ears flicked back as a sound reached them. From how she was standing she guessed the sounds were coming from behind her. Stiffing a little she turned then ran into the hut and over to Duemos's mattress. "Duemos, Duemos wake up, wake up your dreaming!" She said her voice rising a little as she shook her.

Duemos snapped awake and growled at Cecillia, not realizing that the nightmare was over. "I told you to stay awa--,"She said, cutting off in mid sentence as she realized that it was Cecillia, and not a demon who had been shaking her. "Cec-- Cecillia!? I- I'm sorry...about that." She said apoligetically, looking at the ground. "Was I thrashing around again? Did I hurt you?"

[Lemur Lexi]

Cecilla jumped back away from Duemos's jaws. "I'm alright Duemos, I'm not hurt." She said moving back over to her side. "Yeah you were thrashing a bit." She said and smiled soflty as she smoothed her hand over Duemos's side soothingly. "Was it a nightmare or a memory?" She asked softly.

Duemos sighed and continued to look at the ground, her icy blue eye was filled with sorrow, worry, and even a small twinge of anger. "I'm sorry you had ta see me like that. Of all the days for it ta happnen, why now?" She asked herself, her voice having a hint of worry in it. She brought her gaze from the ground when Cecillia had begun to pet her, which she didn't really mind her doing so. She sighed again when Cecillia had asked her about her 'dream', she wasn't really sure which one it was. "I don't know, maybe a bit of both."

"Oh don't worry about it, I used to do this for my mother, she had the same problem as you." She answered her hands still continuing their soothing motions. "Lets talk about something else." She said changing the subject like she used to for her mother. "What do you look like outside of your wolf form?" She asked softly.

Duemos let out a big yawn, it's like her mind just didn't want her to sleep. "I can't really help but worry about it, every time I have that dream it just gets worse and worse. It's like it keeps adding on to itself every time I have it." She knew that her 'dreams' were more than just that, they seemed so familiar. Her ears perked up when Cecillia asked her about her true form. "I don't really feel like changin' back right now, there should be a picture of me with my brother over there." She said, pointing her right paw to a colored photo taped up to the wall. The photo showed a smiling, slender, pale white girl with long black hair that went down to the middle of her back, black horns that curved to the back of her head, and one eye that was icy blue with the other eye being covered up by a small shadow. The other person in the picture was a tall young man who had the same black horns, black hair that hung freely in front of his eyes, which had black sun-glasses covering them. He wasn't smiling though, he had the human form Duemos by the arm trying to pull her out of the frame, he had an angry look on his face. "I'm just gonna guess you notice the horns. Me and my bro are half-demons." She said with a small hint of disgust in her voice.
