Cecilla snorted then looked over to her roommate. "I'm glad I found you when I did." She said soflty because she knew is Duemos hadn't been there then right now she would be dleeping on the streets instead of with someone who liked her. Smiling she nodded of to sleep the smile still on her face.

 Duemos came skidding out an alleyway, almost tripping over her own four paws. She resumed running as fast as she could towards the little shack she had been living in with Cecillia for the past few months. Looking over her shoulder, Duemos saw a VERY angery man, who looked as if he could afford everything under the sun, come out of the alley way from where she had just burst out of. The nobleman said every curse in the english language, all of them towards Duemos. She just let a cocky smile grace her maw and kept running....well..she would have been smiling if she didn't have the man's money pouch safely tucked away in her muzzle. As she kept running the jingling from her silver bracelets was accompanies by the light jingle from the many gold coins inside the pouch, this had been quite a good day. Once she had reached the little wooden shack she tried to come to a comeplete stop, but ended up skidding past the door and hitting a wall ((Like my dog did this morning  )). This made her vision a little blurry and caused her to look at the ground for a few seconds as her vision returned, which by the time it did, the nobleman was much closer to her now. She quickly ran into the shack, saw Cecillia, and hid under a wooden crate with the bottom of it missing out from underneath it. The nobleman soon came bursting through the door, spotted Cecillia as well and his face went red with rage. "Where the hell is that damn mutt of yours?!" He yelled at the top of his lungs, his face getting even more scarlet with rage after each passing second |

Cecilla's face shot up as she heard a thud and then someone yelling. "I am sorry sir I haven't seen her." She answered which wasn't a lie since Cecilla was now unable to see anything. She groped her way up using some crates and grabbed a cane that had been propped up against the wall. "What did she do this time sir?" She asked turning so her blind gaze fell upon him. "I hope it wasn't much." She said sincerely.

Duemos wanted to bust out laughing at the look on the man's face, it was hilarious to see this nobleman who was supposed to be the pinnacle of the cities society so mad and angry. She managed to contain the laugh and continued to watch the man and Cecillia talk, the money pouch still dangling by little strings being held by her muzzle. "That damn dog stole 200 gold coins from me, I'm gonna get that money back one way or another even if it involves robbing YOU of it." Duemos's eyes...well..eye widened as the nobleman spoke. He was going to rob a BLIND anthro, too bad that blind anthro just happened to be Duemos's best friend. She quickly threw the wooden box off her back and went into an attack stance, head low to the ground, muzzle pulled back to reveal those sharp ivory fangs, and snarling to intimidate the man. The man had a cocky look on his face and just dismissed the snarling wolf, if only he knew who he was dealing with. He took a few steps toward Cecillia, but took one step too many. Duemos lunged at the man's arm that was outstretched in an attempt to grab Ceciliia. He went almost stark white when he felt those fangs sink deep into his wrist, which caused a few spurts of blood to splatter on Duemos's face. Needless to say, the man wasn't exactly happy about this. He grabbed Duemos and threw her to the ground, but when she tried to get back to her feet he just kicked her in the ribs. She let out a surprised yelp of pain and fell back down to the ground. |

Cecilla's ears flicked she heard the tussle and Duemos's snarl but nothing else registered until the pained yelp hit her. Gripping her can she moved until she was behind the noble and whacked him a good one in the middle of his back before using the hook of the cane to pull his foot out from under him. "Don't ever touch her again." She said her usually sweet voice dripping with malice as she hit him again with the cane this time across his ribs. Turn her back to him she made her way over to Duemos. "Are you alright?" She asked softly running her hand over her side, checking for any broken bones that the idiot might have caused.

The nobleman was caught off guard when Cecillia clobbered him, and was even more taken aback when she managed to pull his feet out from underneath him. He had the wind knocked out of him when she hit him across the ribs. Once he regained his breath he quickly got to his feet and made a bee-line for the door. Thank God he was gone.
Duemos had the wind knocked out of her. She layed there gasping for breath, it soon returned, but she wasn't exactly relieved just yet. She whimpered in pain, not at Cecillia's hand rubbing against her side, but something had been at least bruised real bad when the man kicked the whimpering wolf. She grunted as she tried to speak, damn, that kick did some damage to something. "I don't--," She said cutting off as she coughed and gasped for more air. "I don't think anythin's broken, but it sure hurts like hell." She said weakly, so that it was just a whisper but still audible to Cecillia. "More importantly, are you hurt, sis?"She asked, trying to mask the pain in her voice. She had started to call Cecillia sis, they had become like sisters during their time in the marble city. Duemos didn't care if she was harmed, her only concern was for Cecillia. |

Cecilla smiled through a pained expression. "I am fine si...you on the other hand are not." She replied as she began to hum a low sweet sound her hands moving over Duemous's fur smoothly. "I can't 'see' anything wrong with you...." She hummed again then stopped. "Where is the pain mainly coming from?" She asked her ears flicking back and forth to make sure that the nobleman wasn't coming back with reinforcements.

Duemos tried to get to her feet, but she couldn't move, the pain it caused her was too great. She grunted and whimpered as she hit the ground. Duemos didn't want to admit it, but she was glad that Cecillia was blind right now, Duemos's eye was a dead give away that she was in more than just a small amount of pain. "I'm fine, sis. Just help me over to the bed so I can rest for awhile." She said, still trying to mask the pain in her voice. She tried once again to get to her feet and was successful in doing so, but once again quickly fell to the ground. |

Cecillia frowned as she helped her up and half carrried half dragged her to the bed. "Are you sure your alright?" She asked concern still showin gon her face as she positioned Duemos on the bed careful not to put her in and more pain than she already was. " Do you want somthing to drink?" She asked.

Duemos was looked up at Cecillia, some of the pain gone from her eye. "Yeah, I'm fine. He just bruised my ribs up pretty bad. At least I think they're just bruised, nothin' feels broken." She said with a small sigh of relief. Once they had reached the bed and Cecillia had placed her on it, she made sure to lay down on the the side that hadn't been kicked. She smiled as Cecillia kept insisting on helping her, here she was being cared for by someone who was blind. "It's okay, sis. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine." She said, trying to reassure Cecillia. |

Cecilla sighed but finally gave up. "Alright then....." She said as she stood up and grabbed her cane. " I need to go shopping, and now that we have money, I can buy the things we need." She said a sly smile on her face. "But first, Duemos where is the nobleman's purse?" She asked her free hand on her hip as she waited for Duemos's reply.

Duemos sighed and let a weak smile grace her maw. "Sis," she asked in a fake innocent voice. "What ever makes you think I would steal?" With some difficulty she got back to her feet and slowly walked over to where she had been hiding earlier, wincing as she put pressure on her right foreleg. She grabbed the pouch of money with her muzzle and slowly walked back to Cecillia, the money making a small jingling as she moved. When he had reached her friend, she nuzzled Cecillia's hand so she could drop the pouch in it. (Assuming she does) Duemos looked up at Cecillia with a hint of mischief in her eye. "You'll need your 'seein' eye dog' if you're gonna go out, ya know." |

Cecilla snorted at Duemos's innocent voice. "You are not going out like that sweetheart." She said as she headed to the door. "I am taking my cane."
