"Only in my mind am I lost. For only my body will always have a home. And this home is where I will be released. However..." He paused and looked up at the silhoulette of the bird then stopped in the middle of his thought.

Anandi stilled in the air, flapping and then descending down towards him and landing softly on his back. She flapped her wings once to balance herself, and then turned her head to him as she folded her wings.
...Yes? What is it wolf? Why did you still your speech and halt your walk?
She tilted her head to the side curiously, and blinked, her eyes shining with curiosity.

He kept ahead walking not even minding the bird on his back. Somehow he felt he needed to explain himself... "Young as I may seem, my mind and body has travesed far and wide in this world. I have felt the dark crevices of the living condition. The sharp edges of reality or illusions of this world, or whatever you call this life we live in. For a while I have had no place to call myself native. However, upon my last encounter with this so-called life I have come to a decision. I am now in search for a place to finally put to rest my spirit and soul, a place I can call home."

Anandi chuckled, intrigued by his reply.
My, you certainly are something. You are on a quest of death in life? How different and unique, however, you are always at home within your heart, regardless of where you were birthed from or rest finally. No matter how far you traverse, or where you come to cease, the home of all is the land they walk upon. No distance nor journey can change that, you are just as home here as you would be on the other side of the world....

"Home I have felt. In every creature I have healed I have felt what home is like. The slow torture of desperate souls waiting to be freed. I have glimpsed into the homes of creatures dying or in pain. Is it home where creatures like us suffer, then live, then suffer again? An endless continuum of dispair is what I felt in the last creature I healed...or at least tried to heal. His life tenfolds worse than mine. He was injured badly, a deep cut in his chest leading towards the heart. That night I tried to save the him. I touched his freezing body. I did not feel the life in him, although he was still alive. He had given up even before I told him I could save him. And so I tried, but without the cooperation of another life I could not heal him. And that's when I had a premonition. He did not want to suffer anymore. This curse upon me I relate to him. I too will not be subjected to this curse anymore." His voice unshakable us he said his last sentence. "In the end...it was not the cut that ended his life, but a broken heart, unrequited love, the rejection of a fullfillling life."

Anandi listened intently to his story, envisioning his words in her eyes. She felt bad for him, yet she felt she could perhaps breathe life into his dying spirit.
It is the will of the soul to choose to live, despair and pain comes to one in life, whether that soul can handle it or persevere is stricly up to ones will to live. If life is not worth living, then why live? Howver, if life is worth living, should it still be lived? One determines if life should be lived by ones own perception of living, no specific vision is the same, yet the same question remains... One lets go to relive again, not cease... the burden is not yours to carry, though you can help a cause, its not your fault if you cannot do anything about it...

Lumini stopped to listen to the owl. He lowered his head as he listened to the words.
"So why was I given this cursed gift? I was always told to help those in need. I kept those words dear to my heart, body, and soul. Half a lifetime I have experienced the cuts and bruises of life. I have the scars to prove what living for what you want will do to those who seek it. My heart, body, and soul is tired. Like a fast burning candle light the life-giving air of this world will sufficate my light."
As he finished his last word he looked to a lifeless tree.

Anandi sighed softly, understanding his words, but she felt he could not yet give up.
At least you chose to help those in need, what if you had no control over your life, or what you had to do? I was fortunate enough to guide a wolfess through here, that truly cannot take hold of her life. She is guided by something far greater than herself, and far more powerful. It was not her will to be imbued, yet they chose her... and now she journeys the lands, following where they tell her to go, unable to live a live though it is her own...You on the other hand said you hep others right? I suggest if you cross her path, follow her, you will see a whole new meaning to this power you think is a curse. There are others more unfortunate than you, yet they still persist in living...How?...Why? That my friend, is a difficult answer..

"I've helped, and have grown tired of it all. My body battered even without fighting. My heart aches of random memories left by those I have helped. I see myself in the frozen waters, a ghastly sight of my generosity. For the lives I have saved, I take away from mine own. It is inevitable, one last life to save now...one last life I take away."
He turned his head to the owl. "Whomever you talk of, I wish luck."
He walked calmly in the bare woods, his eyes focused on his journey. In his mind he is walking towards a light. He sees the light ahead ever so close.

Anandi sighed, clearly this was not something he could tell him, but rather he himself had to realize. She used her magick vision to scan the faraway lands, and spotted the young wolfess near the lake. Anandi thought hard for a moment, trying to figure out a way to lure him there. Her eyes shone with an idea, she sighed and took on a depressing, saddening tone.
Well then, If you wish to find a place to rest, I suggest you go to Mizu Lake...Theres no better place to rest than there...However, this is just a recommendation...You can journey there if you want, or choose to walk ahead, where theres only more white...Mizu Lake is east, if you want to head there...I wish you luck in your final journey.......Lumini.
Anandi opened her wings and drifted off his back without detection, vanishing into the forest.

Lumini sighed. He stood on the spot where the owl left him. His heard of Mizu Lake, the name sounds familiar to him. He turned to the distance looking east, then straight ahead. Lowering his head he turned east towards the lake.
