Gusts of wind ripped through the barren landscape without mercy, having no barriers in the open stretch of white to slow them down. Everywhere, as far as the eye could see was white, you could'nt even tell where the land ended, and the sky began.
Anandi was soaring high in the sky, looking down on the barren stretch of frozen wastelands, like a void of white nothingness. She descended to a stray tree and landed softly on it, ruffling her feathers and folding her wings. She gazed out into the white horizon, the barrier between Shinkou lands and the endless stretch of sky seemed nonexistent. She focused and invoked the power of spiritual sight within her, she could then see the magick that flowed from the land and trees, and could even see the spirits of magick as they flew about in a zero gravity realm, one separate from Anandi's. She sighed softly and gazed beyond the barren wasteland where she could see the mountains, the trees, and she could even see the lake with her supernatural sight. She then looked into the sky and watched the snowflakes drift effortlessly in the whips of wind.

Under where the owl landed the white earth began to move. A slow slight movement in the snow. A creature covered in white rose. As if frozen for a moment it shook its body revealing Lumini, who is seemingly lost. Upon the snow falling from his body, it revealed a scarred body. Somewhat feeling dazed and confused he looked around the barren white land. Like a cub finally seeing the world forthe first time, Lumini stumble around to focus his eyes. Trying to stay balance he tip-toed clumsily into the tree where the owl landed. A simple shake of the tree, fresh snow covered him once again.

Anandi stirred as the clumsy wolf hit the tree she was perched on, she eyed him curiously, but calmly. She wondered why he was so wobbly, and better yet, so scarred. What was this wolf doing here anyway? theres nothing here, only snow and ice, yet life still rises from this nothingness.... Anandi hooted gently, her large, mysterious eyes glowing as she stared at him.

Lumini shook his head, a plump of snow fell on the ground. He sat down leaning against the tree with his back. He sat there for a moment recollecting his thoughts when he heard a hoot. His eyes shot up, but he did not move his head. Apparently his senses have been jumbled when he awoke because he felt nor smelt any other presence. He paid no attention to the owl and went back to gathering his thoughts. His countenance was that of a child, lost, unware, and blank...

Anandi tilted her head slightly, the wolf seemed lost. She moved down onto a lower branch and hooted again, still watching him. She hooted again and moved lower, till she was just above his head, she then settled on the branch and waited.

His eyes opened wide, as if he saw a ghost,"Uh huh!" he shouted. He felt a chill down going down his back. "It was you that hurled the snow on my head!" The chill ran down his back again...upon closer inspection it was just wet snow tumbling down his back. He turned his head to look at the snow sliding down his back, then he looked up at the howl. His eyes big, with a lost look, he just stared at the owl blankly "Oh," he said.

Anandi smiled inside, he was so blank it was slightly humorous. She hooted again and flapped her wings softly, stretching them. She tilted her head again and simply watched him, as if waiting for him to develop enough sense to reply.

Lumini yawned a big yawn biting the the cold air while emitting a cold smoke from his mouth. Still he did not take his eyes off the owl as he yawned. It did not seem clear whether Lumini was just staring at the owl or if he was inspecting the owl. Either way, the visage of hi face still remained.

Anandi remained there, deciding whether or not to probe his mind and see what he was thinking. She could, but didn't know if she should, was it worth the energy? She hooted again and watched him for a response. She tilted her head to the side, as if questioning him in some way.

Lumini gave out a loud sigh, smoke flowing out his mouth. He looked around the surrounding. "Where am I?" he said to himself. He looked down to the snow and noticed a scar on his paw. It was not there before. However, this did not seem to alarm nor warrant any reaction to this. He now remembers how he got the scar. His eyes sank low. He bent his head down to lick the scar. His face grimaced a little as he tasted the a slight sting. Now follow aware of where he was he looked to the owl. "Hi," her said in a low solemn voice.

Anandi's eyes settled low as he spoke to her, into a deep, almost hypnotic gaze. She watched him for a moment and then flew down to the floor beside him. As she looked up to him words were spoken, but her mouth never moved.
I see you have finally come to your senses young wolf...What brings one such as you so far out here? Have you gotten lost, or did you come here in search of something perhaps? It would be wise for you not to remain here, not the shape that you appear to be now...
She settled down and waited for his reply.

He looked down to the owl. "Oh I don'treally know why I am here. I liked to wonder around. I don't realy have any place in particular to go to. So I go where I feel. A vagabond if you will." Lumini's voice seemed to wained at the end of every sentence he spoke, as if lost of breathe. He looked overhead of the owl figure looking into the distance.

Anandi bowed her head deep, and rose tall and proud, ruffling her feathers and stretching her wings, revealing their great size.
If you will let me, I know everything of these lands, I see everything and know all... I can guide you to any place in Shinkou if you wish. It is the least I can do at the moment, seeing as you are in need of my assistance. We should make haste though, as I have seen the storm that will sweep through here later... Or at least, find you some shelter...

"Oh, well thank you for your hospitality. It doesn't really matter where I go. I have no need to run. It's all a matter of time. Wherever I lay or stand is my home." He smiled calmly. "But I thank you Wise One." He slowly got up flexing his limbs before walking around the owl. He headed towards the naked forest slowly waking without much demeanor.

Anandi admired his arrogance, but was humored by his ignorance. He did not know these lands like she did, how cold it would get soon. She lifted off and gracefully hovered above him, her flaps completely silent.
You are strong, but foolish, young wolf...I shall follow you to aid you, as it is my duty to guide those who are lost. You are indeed a unique soul young wolf, one who seeks without worry of hurdles or disasters that block your path. Yet somehow, I feel it is not by will that you are this way, rather something forces you to become this...
