OoC: Alright, anyone can join in if they wish it. If you want to know more about these people go here: shinkou.proboards20.com/index.cgi?board=citythor&action=display&thread=1134257241&page=1
Kaoru and I have decided to continue the plot in this here new thread as it died on the other one. So, everyone put on your roleplay caps and have a blast!
All was quiet... at least in this part of the city. Thor... the great
city mostly inhabited by the wilder people of the human
civilization near the lands of Shinkou Ookami. The city lights were
always lit, and it wasn't hard to be murdered, robbed, raped, or
anything else in this city. Most of the time, the city was loud, in a
clamor and a rush. Cops were almost always about, scouting for
trouble-makers and keeping eyes on those that were quite
popular. Two right at that point were on every cops list in the
area. They were hot-shot rave dancers, who were more than
mere human beings. Some knew. Some did not, but eventually
they all found it out, if these two decided it should be so...
Hard breathing could be heard as one might turn a corner onto a
long alley way. A few streets away, there was still noise of sirens
and people talking. On a rooftop, a few buildings away, would be
seen a rather large group of people, mostly cops, that were
gradually moving back down toward the ground. It was a
commotion, everyone lost and confused for in but an instant,
suddenly the two that had caused this whole mess had
disappeared, and no one knew where or how. Cops were yelling
orders to find the two, and others were simply carrying out what
they were told to do. Yet, back to the ways away, the hard
breathing stopped, and the sound of a fist hitting the wall rather
angrily was sent into the air.
A tall young woman was leaning against the old, brick wall of a
mostly abandoned building. She pushed black shades up as they
fell slightly, and wiped her arm across her forehead as she was
quite sweaty. "Damnit! [grrr]in' son o' a bitch!" She pushed
foward, so that she was no longer standing against the wall, and
she turned toward a figure that was beside her. As she did so,
golden chains that were about her neck clinked, and a red garnet
that had fallen out of her black tank-top in her running before
glimmered slightly. "Th' hell ar' w' go'n' do no'?!" she said, nearly
shouting. She flicked her head slightly, thick, black curls falling
behind her back. She didn't care to pull up her medium length
hair at this point, and she impatiently waited on Rave to say
something.
Rave, her companion from when she was only eleven, and the
only one she ever would trust with anything. Though they could
not be seen through her shades, her red-orange eyes were lit
afire. Her fists were clenched at her sides, and she looked as
though she were about to start beating up on Rave, though she
wasn't. Large hoops dangled from her ears, and even though
this alley was rather dark, the street lights only a few feet from it
caught the engraved golden band that was on her arm. One
thought had already passed her mind, 'Mayb' Rave wa' righ'.
Mayb' w' shou'd lea'e th' city.' However, she did not say this
aloud to the person standing before her.
She folded her arms across her chest, letting out a frustrated
sigh. It always ended up like this, so it was nothing new to her.
But... just before had been a very close one. They'd been in
worse situations before, however what had just happened was
up there with them. There were more people involved than she
had expected, or had wanted, and because of that they had had
too many close calls for deaths. "Tha' bitch..." she muttered
under her breath. She was pissed, firstly at Dober the doberman-
policedog, and secondly at Monet, the drug-girl who just had
to pass out in the middle of the road. Of course, she hadn't
been the complete cause of everything, but even so... she hadn't
helped at all.
It wouldn't be long until she and Rave were discovered, even
with their escape they had just pulled off. How they had, was a
secret all in its own, one that only she and Rave knew. Any place
they went right now would be bogged down with cops, looking
for them... especially any dance clubs of sorts. But, all of this was
quite far from over. She thought of one thing briefly... in all of
this, she enjoyed it, despite how pissed off she could get. Her life
would never be boring, that was for sure.
