Kanaye let a smirk pass his new formed maw, the demon still forgot that Kanaye could kill him on a whim. Of course, Farrell was quickly gaining strength so it might prove to be a challange. His muscles tensed up as Farrell once again charged at him, he tried to evade the demon by strafing to the right, but was only somewhat successful. Since Farrell had been running in a zig zag pattern he caught the tip of his left wing, good thing it just wasn't his neck that was caught. If Farrell did that again Kanaye might not be so lucky with the evasion. "You're getting better, Farrell. Maybe you could actually beat me in a few more months of training." Unfortunatly, the final test for Kanaye's previous students were a fight to the death with their teacher. If Farrell could indeed endure his training and make it to the final test Kanaye might meet the end of his long life. ((Bjorn, you really should start capitalizing where it's needed. I see a lot of words that should be capitalized that aren't.))

Farrell as still far in blood lust, attempting to hit Kanaye, blow after blow, he meant business. He snapped and snarled, trying his beast to tear feathers out of those god damn feathered wings. His fiery inferno grew and blazed onward, and up ward. Farrell was trying to bite Kanaye’s wings, his chest, his legs and his stomach. He threw himself forward once more. He could hear a voice but it didn't register with his brain, it spoke but he didn't hear. Farrell was tiring now, but he tried one last burst, the flames suddenly burst, small embers of flame, burst off and fell onto the floor, pretty swiftly the dry ground caught light.

Kanaye dodged Farrell's blows a few more times. That is, until Farrell had finally managed to get a hold of Kanaye's shoulder (almost his neck) within his jaws. Kanaye grunted in pain as spurts of crimson stained his white coat and splattered onto Farrell's face, dammit that one really hurt. "Damn, you finally got me, but it's going to take more than just brute force and a little concentration to defeat Merdoc." He said, panting as he continued to lose blood. He noticed the small fire that Farrell had caused out of the corner of his eyes, then tried to push Farrell away so he could have his shoulder back. "Why don't you go and put out that little blaze you started over there?" It was more of a command than a request.

All of a sudden, while Kanaye and Farrell were fighting, an angel appeared. She seemed to come out of nowhere. She in fact- had come out of nowhere. She had apparated here. She saw the small fire, hesitated, then pointed her finger at the fire and a strong gust of wind blew the fire out. Her long silvery-white hair was in a long braid down her back and trailed after her while she walked over to Kanaye. She looked at Kanaye, for he seemed to be a peculiar wolf. She decided that he was really a human or angel, but just in wolf form and hoped she was right and could understand her."Oh dear! Your hurt! Can I fix that?" She asked. But before waiting for an answer, she put a pale hand on his furry shoulder. When she removed her hand, she hoped the bite mark would be gone. Maybe her healing powers didn't work on people with two forms. Only one way to find out...

Farrell let a triumphant snarl, feeling his teeth sink deep into Kanaye’s shoulder, the splatter of blood on Farrell’s face felt sooo good. He latched on and listened to Kanaye’s words, his inferno eyes raged some more and he forced his maw in deeper to the shoulder. But still he could not see, he let Kanaye push him off without much resistance, shut off his flames, and cocked his head slightly facing the direction he felt Kanaye. "where is it mast ...." he began to say, when he was suddenly taken by surprise by this other prescience, instantly reactivating his inferno ability, the flames once more engulfed his body, he snarled, viciously, had Kanaye set him up? Did he know this other angel, yes defiantly that was coming, it was pure angel too. The gust of wind may have put out the fire of which Farrell didn’t know the location of, but they reinforced his, making them dance wildly. As she approached Kanaye, Farrell suddenly felt very defensive, very similar to what a hound guards his human owner. What was that, that thing doing near HIS master! He felt her approach him, he now knew it was a feminine entity from the voice, he lowered himself to the ground and let out a louder snarl. Well Farrell had no idea whether she was healing or harming, "step away from my master you wrenched creature!" he spat before activating his speed, and grew a little force as he ran the short distance, before taking a powerful leap, and attempting to bite this new comer, bite of ram her with his heavy horns.

Shasta saw this attempted attack. Her silver eyes sparkled with a mix of curiosity, excitement, kindness, and understanding. The wolf's horns and sharp teeth could seriously injure her. But she knew it was nescessary for him to hurt her. She knew he was protecting his master but his protecting was unnecessary since she was not going to harm his master. So she stood there with a look of calm on her face and waited for the wolf to attack her. She also knew that the wolf still could not see...

((Spirit, there was supposed to be a posting order XDDD. I was supposed to reply first, but since you took my turn we now have a new posting order. I post next, then it's bjorn, then it's you again. You will ALWAYS go after bjorn =3. *yawn* don't worry about it, I've broke the posting order A LOT when I was new here =3)) One last spurt of blood came out of Kanaye's shoulder as Farrell unclamped his jaw from it. He heard the gust of wind and quickly turned to see the pure-blood angel, oh great. A pure-blood isn't someone he really wanted to see right now, they always ridiucled him for his human 'imperfection'. When the pure-blood walked up to him and attempted to heal the bloody wound that Farrell had made on his shoulder, but since Farrell was a demon it would still take quite awhile for the angel's holy magic to take effect, so the bite mark stayed and kept bleeding a little, although at a slower flow. He opened his maw to say a word of thanks but before he could utter a word he saw Farrell ignite his flames and charge at the girl. "Farrell, STOP!" He yelled with authority, but Farrell was already airborne by the time he said this. The only thing Kanaye could do was go airborne as well. He quickly strafed to Farrell's side and lunged forward, attempting to tackle him to the ground so that the angel girl would be safe from harm.

Farrell heard Kanaye’s call but he didn't want too. He wanted to take all his frustration out on this stranger, why should Kanaye care? He was preparing to take down this angel, but was hit mid flight by Kanaye, filled with rage he pulsated his flames once more, they reflected his angry frustration, so Kanaye’s fur may have been ignited. He struck the floor heavily on his side; it knocked all the air out of him. “WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING, MERDITH!...." Farrell shouted out, but as soon as he said the name he quickly shut up. "Im sorry master I forgot my place...." Farrell muttered, his vision was slightly blurring back as pushed Kanaye off his body, he stood. he stopped the flames but his hackles still raised, he continued to growl at this stranger, he suddenly gave a little leap forward and snapped his jaws, but he wasn't any where close to this stranger. "Identify yourself, scum of the skies!" he spat. waiting to see Kanaye’s and this, this things reaction.

(Ok, sorry I'll post in order. I hate posting order because i hate waiting:) ) Shasta did not seem offended or fazed. She was used to being treated like this by dark wolves. Her eyes still remained calm and peaceful. "Thank you, fellow, kind angel." she said when she turned to Kanaye. Shasta had met many angels and half angels in her life and never insulted any one of them. In fact, she had never insulted anyone in her whole entire life! And although she may look to be about 15, she really is 1,500 years old. "My name is Shasta. And may I be so bold to ask both of your names?" she said politely, her beautiful voice clear and almost sing-song.

((I know how you feel about the posting order, but it gives everyone a chance to post about the same amount of times so it's fair to everyone.)) Kanaye quickly shot back to his feet and looked at Farrell with a hint of curiosity in his eyes. "And who is Merdith?" He asked Farrell, arching one brow. Before he could get an answer from the demon, Kanaye looked back to the pure-blood angel with a little bit of suspicioun in his eyes. He was taught in his 1,600 years of life that being a half-blood usually meant ridicule, but the pure-blood angel, Shasta, appeared to show no hate towards Kanaye for being a hybrid. White light spun around Kanaye once more and the white armored man had taken the wolf's place. He shot a scornful look down to Farrell, blue eyes just shooting daggers at him. "Farrell, I understand that you were trying to protect me, but you need to leave your hate of angels behind along with your past." His voice was harsh and filled with authority, although he didn't mean to SOUND like he was scorning the demon, Kanaye was just a little irritated at the still bleeding wound on his shoulder. He looked back to Shasta, the anger in his eyes subsided. "Greetings, Shasta. I'm Kanaye and this demon wolf who nearly bit your head clean off is my pupil, Farrell. He meant well in his actions, but he was trained to kill angels in his past. Please, accept my apologies."

"That is none of your business! That is my own and you shall not know." Farrell said aggressively but quietly, not daring to bring his eyes to Kanaye who he was addressing. He stood still growling, hackles still raised as the other angel, Shasta, and Kanaye spoke. As Kanaye then rounded on Farrell, his fur began to glimmer red once more. "You say that I need to leave it in the past, when it appears that angels will always be in my future. You try having to resist killing them, when they have them wiped out your family, friends and colleges. As you see I hold grudges, I don’t forget the past, nor shall i blank myself from the future." Farrell slightly began to calm down a little, even if he was a little huffy. He was embarrassed at being scorned by Kanaye in front of the angel, so he continued to be hostile. "Well you may have his apologies but you shall never receive mine, vermin of the light.” Farrell retorted offensively. His ears were pinned right down on his head, he could vaguely see now, oh how he loathed those perfect features, how he wanted to sink his teeth into the pure skin. At least Kanaye was only half angel otherwise Farrell may not be able to stand it, all angels were stuck up too full of themselves, and it had been his job to show them what reality was. He turned around and walked away from the pair, reaching the edge of the clearing; he sat down and let out a huge sigh, as if he had too many thoughts in one mind. He sat gazing into the distance, trying to peace his life together.

Shasta looked questionlingly at Kanaye after this outburst of Farrell. She wondered if anyone could be that evil. She had never known an evil angel in her whole life. She decided not to ask about it, for it might open old wounds and make them them bleed afresh-if Farrell hadn't already ripped them open. She instead, turned to Farrell. His hackles raised and his fur standing up. She was not scared of him. She said, with a glimmer of amusement in her eyes, "Well, you do not need to go through the trouble of giving me your name because your teacher, Kanaye has already given me your name, Farrell." She knew that Farrell probably despised angels. "Even though you probabyly will not answer me, I must ask, why do you despise angels so?" She waited to see what his reaction was.

Kanaye wanted to unsheathe his sword and just stab Farrell right on the spot, he hadn't been so mad in before in his long life. He turned to look at Shasta, very well hiding the anger in his blue eyes. "Excuse me, I must speak with him for a few minutes." He said politely and giving a slight bow before turning and walking towards Farrell. Once he had reached his destination he let his cold stare fall upon Farrell. "You think you're the only one who has had friends and family taken by angels? They did more than ridicule me and insult me, Farrell. I've left my hate in the past, despite them taking my father, mother, friends, and siblings from me. That doesn't mean I have to like them, but they're not all the same." He said with the twinge of anger, not at Farrell but at the angels from his past. "You need to realize that the demons whom you were associated deserved death. It may sound harsh, but you know it's right. You need to come face to face with the truth, though what you believe is up to you." He said turning and beginning to walk back to Shasta. but stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder towards Farrell. "You think angels are all the same. Stuck up, arrogant, full of themselves. What if I assumed that all demons were alike? If that was so, you wouldn't be here this day." He wanted these words to hit Farrell hard, they were the truth, and the truth hurt. Once he had made his way back to Shasta he once again asked for her to accept his apologies. "Please, I apologize for the both of us. His life has drastically changed in just a few days, his world is upside down right now and he doesn't know what to believe." He said, almost whispering to her so that Farrell wasn't able to hear.

Farrell's mind was all over the place, he had so many thoughts all at once, bombarding his head striking over and over again. he needed help and he knew it, but he was used to being strong, in a position of power, if it was to be seen by others, that is his mind crumbling, he would be very vulnerable, therefore he decided that if he pushed others away, those that were close to him like Kanaye, well he was the closest ally, maybe even a friend, no that word was too firm, too friendly, the fact that he was falling may not be perceived by the others. it was best that they hated him and didn’t understand than stay by him and understand, he was looking out for there interests, or well so he believed. he asked himself so this may be the way that Merdoc became what she is now, will I end up like her angry and so hurt by something that I shall forever be mad?
He was swiftly interrupted in his thoughts by the question: "why do you despise angels so?....” that was the last thing he needed. He took a deep breath and placed together what he could of his mind and replied, not even showing the courtesy to turn round, "have you killed? Do you hate? Have you loved and lost? You live on heaven on high ridiculing people who are not perfect, who have tiny flaws, while the creature blindly fumble seeking there destiny. Ask yourself what do you have that mortals lack, try harmony. i have nothing more to say to you."
He turned his ears back as he heard Kanaye approaching, he listened in silence as every single word that Kanaye said was true. The only response that Kanaye may have seen from Farrell while walking away, was something that Farrell ha never done before. One single tear trickled from his eye and fell up the short clearing grass, which slightly withered from the tear of a demon. The wind slightly picked up ruffling Farrell’s fur, and waving Kayane’s hair and the angels feathers quiver. "Its true." was all he whispered for the wind to carry.

Shasta thought about this. Her family never ridiculed or insulted anyone simply because they had flaws. They themselves had flaws. Many wolves and other creatures thought angels were perfect beings. No one-not even angels-can be perfect except the Gods themselves. Angels are just like normal people. They had some poverty. Some angels were mean, selfish and arrogant like Farrell thought all angels were. Others were nice, caring and unselfish. Shasta supposed the reason she was not condescending to hybrids was because her own half brother was half angel and half human. When her father was killed by a demon, her mother later fell in love with a human and they had a child. Even though her own father was killed by a demon, she never held grudges against against any demons except the actual demon that killed her father. She knew that not all of them were completely evil. Some were nice. She had a friend that was a demon. They became very, very close friends. They loved each other very much but they both knew that it was not a good idea and have children. If they did, they wold be scorned and ridiculed. Their children wold be scorned and ridiculed even more. But still, later, she found out she was pregnant. At first glance Shasta didn't look pregnant. Her long, white robe hid her bulging stomach. You might just think she was getting a little fat.But if you looked closer, you could see that she was thin and could see that just her belly was big. She never told Wozartium, the demon, that she was pregnant. He doesn't know that he will be a father i na few days time. They decided to go their separate ways. 'It is for the best' they both agreed. So, with heavy hearts, they parted. Some might consider and angel being pregnant with a half demon child a flaw or a curse. But Shasta didn't. She thought it was a blessing. When she drifted back from her thoughts, she answered Farrell's question and ignored Kanaye's second apology. He didn't need to apologize. She felt, Farrell had a certain right to be mad at angels. But only for so long. "Yes, I do know what that feels like," she said quietly. She knew it very well.
