Farrell, trotted just behind Kanaye, he was here to learn from kanaye, how to live in todays society, what was acceptable, and how to show mercy, kindness and loving complete contrasts to what he formally knew. he lowered his horned head as they approached human civilization. His fur seemed to glimmer in the sunlight, on the top of his spine small flames begain to apper, he lowered his body, his apprehension from his body language, was clearly displayed but he didn't say a word, though with the new sounds he slightly whimpered. he looked up to kanaye for reassurance much like a pet would look to its master. it was clear that kanaye was in control here. Farrell took a deep breath and attempted not to look bothered. he failed miserably. he stuck close to kanayes heels, obediently following.

Evil, deceit, cruelty, murder. These were the things that Kanaye's companion had done through his life, things that the noble angel were trying to save Farrell from. The white armored angel stopped his slow walk and turned to look at the demonic wolf beside him, his blue eyes showing no emotion. He saw the apprehensive look of Farrell's body language, and saw that Farrell looked to him for reassurance. His face remained emotionless, he wasn't here to make Farrell feel better, he was there to make him stronger physically and morally. "You follow me as if I own you, you are not a servant, you are a pupil." He said these words as if he was scorning his student, and he meant for it to sound that way. "If you think we are going into one of the human villages, you are thinking wrong. They would attack us without a second thought."

As kanaye spoke to Farrell he perked his ears up. but soon flattened them on his head and bared his teeth slightly, he didn't like being spoken to like that, he was used to respect. He though he'd find some support from kanaye, not the blank coldness he received. "don't scorn me." he muttered under his breath, but he was relived to hear that he wasn't going anywhere near the villages. right now it appeared to Farrell , to be easiest to slip back to his pack beg for forgiveness and continue the stuff that he actually like to do, the murders, torturing innocents cruelty, to him this new life of righteousness just seemed all to hard. " where are we heading then, master?" he said master with as much attitude and sarcasm as he dared, he still remembered kanaye was a skilled fighter.

A smirk appeared on the angel's face, he was having a little bit of fun angering the demon. "You'll get the respect you so dearly want when you prove yourself." He said coldly, still trying to sound as if he was scorning Farrell. He saw the look in Farrell's eyes that just screamed for his old life of torture, murder, and death. "You still think your pack will take you back, don't you? If you want to, go right on ahead, I won't stop you, but when you get back to them they'll kill you without a second thought." He said these words, accidentaly letting a small amount of concern in his voice, woops! He tried to dismiss his mistake and change the subject, but Farrell did that for him. "You're getting a little too brave with the sarcasm, Farrell. You better watch that." Kanaye was easily angered if someone simply said the wrong thing, this demon had to watch his tongue around the half-angel. "As to where we are going, it is a clearing that is a little farther down from the village. We can't have any bothersome humans coming and interupting, now can we?" Kanaye resumed his slow walk, looking as if to enter into a human village, but he turned to the right when he as a few meters from the entrance to the vilage.

"Prove myself to whom? you!? but i guess i must, i am here of my own choice . As regards to my pack i do not belive that they will take me back without a second thoughtas you say, i know there will be a punishment." he heard the slight bit of concern in kanayes voice, "i dont need your pity." farrell whispered. But still he followed just behind Kanaye. He halted where he was, for a second Farrell thought Kanaye was deciving him, taking him to the village to meet his death, his eyes flicked about, but then he saw Kanaye turn off, and he relesed his panicking breath. there as too little trust here. Try to be faithful, he is an angel after all, well half, they are suposed to stick by there word, silly things, instead of taking the chance to gain from others from deception. perhaps he could teach Kanaye a few things as well. deception, maybe.

Kanaye laughed inwardly as Farrell spoke, he was foolish to think his old pack would take him back. "You really think they'll allow you to come back? You killed one of their nobles, they'll blame you for the three soldier that I killed, and they'll blame you for saving the angelic pup." His cold demeanor returned as he said these words. "Fine then, if you don't want my pity then I won't offer it, but if I see you dying in a pool of your own blood I won't lift a finger to aid you either." Kanaye may have been half angel, but he was also half human. Sometimes his human traits outshone his angelic heritage, and this was one of those times. If Farrell thought that Kanaye was unable of lying and deception, he was making a big mistake. They finally made it to the clearing, one of lush green grass and healthy trees....after today they probably weren't going to be like that anymore. He turned to face Farrell, his face still emotionless. "First, we're going to work on your mental strength. You're still far too easy to take control of, and if you even want to be somewhat of a threat to Merdoc we're going to have to train quite a bit." He pulled a small dart out of his cloak, it as filled with a green liquid. "This stuff will mess with your mind, it will make you see hallucinations. First you'll maybe see two, three, maybe even four of me. Then, it will make you go temporarily blind. The only way to hit me while you can still see is if by either dumb luck, or concentration. The only way you'll be able to hit me when you lose your site is by using your mind alone, no amount of luck will be able to help you then." He threw the dart at Farrell, hoping it would hit him somewhere in his neck.

"they may but that is not for us to discuss. " was all that Farrell said to the first comment. "you know thats not i ment..." he hesitated slightly. "i am too proud for my own good. i am sorry. i shall hold my tongue next time, this is an unfamiliar situation for us both, well if not you for me at least." he lowered his head and fell into silence, until they reached the clearing. He listened to Kanaye intensely, when he pulled the green vial out Farrell cocked his head curiously trying to get a better look at the potion. " i will try, my teacher, i shall do as you say." Farrell said with the up most respect, he was now being deadly serious, something now seemed to make sense in his mind, which now made him realize Kanaye was there to help him so he shouldn't give him a hard time about it. "ummm teacher, firstly before we start what would you preferred to be called? master or teacher or any other respectful title you would prefer? " after he finished speaking, the little dart struck him squarely in the neck, he felt funny. His vision blurred slightly, then he blinked vision crisp and clear but things were disorientated. for example now he saw three kanayes, also the world seemed to be constantly moving. he tried to step forward but stumbled. he halted suddenly, staring at the swirling floor, each time he blinked the world dimmed, darker and darker, till he could see nothing. he didn't like it, the last time his site was disabled it was terrible... he shivered and shunted the memory of his torture from his mind. now without his site he listened intently, trying to hear Kanaye, hear his breath hear him move. he was concentrating intensely. waiting to try and hear anything. he held his head up and tried to smell him out as well. he didn't know how to use his mind to seek people. he started searching though just as kanaye said to , trying to seek his presence, he was unsuccessful. "How..." was all Farrell said.

Kanaye let a smirk show on his face, he always loved to see his students bumble around in this part of their training. "Come on, Farrell. I'm not even moving, this is going to be the easiest part of your training. If you can't do this then your pathetic." Kanaye didn't mean it, he just taunted Farrell to make him determined to succeed. It always worked with his previous apprentices. Kanaye stood still, not making a sound and just barely even breathing. It wouldn't be surprising to him if the demon couldn't find him on the first try, it almost never worked out like that. He could see that Farrell was trying his hardest to locate him, it's really all that mattered. Already was Farrell's mind beginning to strengthen, but he was still a long ways off from being immune from Merdoc's mind control.

Farrell stayed stone still. His fur began to shine with sweat, from where he was concentrating with so much force. He was searching looking for anything; anything at all out of the ordinary, then suddenly like a candle lit in the inky blackness of the midnight sky, there was a small glimmer of presence. Upon hearing Kanaye’s words he panted out “if you believe that I cannot do this you are very much mistaken…” Farrell raised his head and pointed in the direction he could see the little glimmer. In Farrell’s mind eye it appeared as a little light blue glow, the sense of others. Once Farrell was sure that the blue glow was at its strongest, he lowered his head and ran and jumped into the direction, hoping to run into Kanaye.

Kanaye was slightly impressed by Farrell's determination, but it wasn't anything he hadn't seen before. He noticed at how much Farrell was concentrating, maybe he wasn't a lost cause after all. The smirk reappeared on his face at hearing Farrell's words. "Then stop talking and prove me wrong." He said smugly. His body tensed up when Farrell began to run and then jump at him, "It looks like you've actually made some progress." Kanaye decided to mess with Farrell, he was going to prove that he was capable of lying and deceit. What he said about not moving, just standing there so Farrell was able to hit him, he lied. Kanaye side stepped the demon wolf, but slow enough so that Farrell would just skim his armor. ((Not trying to make Kanaye seem un-beatable. Just trying to prove that he is not always a man of his word))

Farrell ignored Kanaye’s words, he was filled with bitter disappointment, he just missed Kanaye and jumped right into a bush. Dragging himself out he shook his fur to get rid of any leaves if they were clinging to him. He could have sworn that he was dead in line with him. But Farrell must have messed up because Kanaye said he want going to move. He looked for the blue glow once more turning his black head side to side, before once again homing in on the prescience of life. This time he just ran at it, head lowered, he was starting to get annoyed now, he hope to try and knock Kanaye off balance. I will hit him, thought Farrell determinedly.
(( meh dont worry, to farrell kanaye is unbeatable. you do what you want i have no problem.))

Kanaye laughed out loud when Farrell landed in the bush. "I saw that look in your eyes as we were making our way here. You thought that just because I'm part angel that means I always stick to my word. I'm also part human, one of the most wretched and deceitful creatures on this planet." Kanaye was begining to be more and more impressed with Farrell, he showed much determination and potential. "Come on, little demon. Hit me." He said mockingly. He knew this was likely to anger Farrell, but that's just how he taught others. Giving them them the determination and resolve by making them prove that they are not weak. As Farrell came closer and closer to him, he bent down. He wasn't going to move this time, but he was going to try and stop Farrell in his charge by grabbing him by the horns.

Farrell slightly chuckled, "you mean even worse that me and my pack?" this mind thing was getting easier. The blue light was starting to now take a form. A humanoid form. He lowered his head even more aiming for the very fuzzy legs that he could see, he wasn’t properly tuned in and only faintly saw the legs as well as the head, but the torso was reasonably clear, but he couldn't see the arms at all. He was very confident now and ran full pelt. He was very close, now he expected for his whole head to make contact but instead something snared his horns and forced him to stop. He forgot about the arms. He tossed his head trying to get Kanaye to let go. "Ok ok you got me, now leave go." Farrell slightly growled, oh now he really wanted to it Kanaye. This angel is so patronising Farrell thought. Huh, little demon. His fur now seemed to have a red warning tint, and Farrell’s body heat began to increase.

Kanaye chuckled when he saw Farrell begining to lose his temper, the 'angel' just loved to tease and annoy his pupils. "Temper temper. We want to save that rage for Merdoc, now don't we?" He asked, half mocking and half serious. He let go of Farrell's horns and quickly returned to his feet, then jumping over him so that Farrell's back was facing him. "Well, technically you did hit me. What say you we move on to the next step? A moving target." He said moving in a circle around the demonic wolf. "Oh! And to make things a little harder for you, you're not going to be trying to hit something on two legs," He said with a little hint of mischief in his voice, "but something on four!" A white light began to swirl around Kanaye, and every so often you could hear bones crack and snap as they reshaped into a new form. When the light had dissapated there was no longer an armored angel standing there, but a white furred winged wolf. "Now come on, 'little' demon. Hit me!"

Listening to kanayes words just made Farrell madder, his fur began to spark now, "bring it on" Farrell spat. he could 'feel' pretty clearly now, though he felt in silhouettes, he now could see every limb. he felt Kanaye jump over him and he spun round not letting the blue fuzz getting out of his sight. he listened to kanayes words and was slightly taken back when Kanaye transformed, he now had to wait for the light to adjust to this new form. he snarled, her was now stood in front of what appeared to be an agelic wolf, the hate for adult ones ran deep in his veins. "are you sure you can stand the blow from this little demon?" Farrell once more snarled, his training automatically taking over. he set himself on fire and with the speed of a lighting bolt from the angered gods he ran in a zig zag path at kanaye, head lowered, hoping to ram him. whether or not he succeeded did not matter to his next attempted action, as he swung his head up from the ram he also viciously snapped at Kanaye hoping to sink his teeth into Kanayes shoulder.
