The wind gently flowed over the lands as the grass danced in sync. The sky was cloudless, an infinite stretch of purple and blue, bedazzled with twinkling stars. The moon was full and gleaming, casting a silvery hue on all that its light touched. Lunar rays shone off a stormy gray figure as Analu slowly padded towards the lake. Though her fur was mostly gray and black, the moon's light meandered her every curve, giving her outline a silvery glow. She inhaled deeply, taking in all the new scents that this land had to offer. Her gray eyes settled on the lake, its surface shimmering, reflecting the great moon and the stars from above.
Analu lowered her head and quenched her thirst, the water, cool and fresh. She settled momentarily to scratch herself, and then refocused on the lake. She could make out figures gliding beneath the surface. She steadied her nerves and waited, completely focused on the fish that was soon to be her prey. Her muscles tensed, and with a mighty leap, she flew towards the fish, seizing it fast with her paws. She dunked her head in momentarily to snag the fish, then lay at the lake's shore consuming her prize. Afterwards, she lay there basking in the moonlight, its illumination comforting. She felt somewhat lonely at times, she wished that maybe somewhere, there was something out there for her. She sighed and looked to the moon, she then lifted her head, and let her lonesome cries fill the night sky.
