A land in mid fall, glowing with the last rays of the setting sunlight. The dark night was slowly casting its cold hand over the land wakening its night children. The children of the day scurried in to hiding for the long nights rest with the hope of being safe.
While darkness set in, a glow of a small town protected by a giant wall. The town was large as it spread across the land around a tall castle that no one could enter. The town was roaring before growing quiet as the darkness set in as the villagers flooded the large tavern "O'Sirus" or ran to their homes for the night.
The Tavern "O'Sirus" was a great tavern that many would travel just to have a meal in. The decorations were warm and welcoming to those who entered. O'Sirus was a three floor tavern, one floor for gather, eating, but mostly for boozing, the other two floors up the stairs were rooms for guests and workers of the place. O'Sirus was so welcoming but even more unforgiving to those who have no money or not enough.
In the corner of the tavern by the door stood a crate. The crate was large and it was mostly of wire and it caught ever cold draft that can from the outside. Inside the crate was a young girl. She was placed in their from trying to steal food from the tavern's kitchen this was how unforgiving they can be.
The girl was dressed in red and black. Red bra top and black collar. Red short short, black belt, Red knee high boots and black thigh him stocking with straps holding them up connected to her belt. She stood four feet tall and had warm brown hair, amber colored eyes, and strangely enough White cat ears and tail. This is Krimsin strong heart but weak muscle, Calm attitude but wild spirit.
People entering would look at her and scowl a bit at her before going on there way. Occasionally a drunk would make there way over and pour water, or some kind of beverage over the crate which would in-turn pour all over her head. She would stay quiet not lashing out knowing she was better then every one that looked down upon what she was. Now she would only wait for some being to help her.

As the night slowly passed the old grandfather clock by the bar chimed nine o'clock pm. the young feline girl watched the patrons in the tavern as they grew close to her prison. She waited for them to try something, though fortunate for her only they would only pass by. Opening the door and leaving they let the cold wind blow across stinging any bar skin on her body. As time slowly passed and the old clock chimed midnight Krimsin would watch as one by one patrons left staggering for home or up the stairs with the drunken men and women they lured with them. She would sigh knowing it would be a long night a very long night. She would sit as all the noise left with the loud customer till the only noise she could hear was the growl of an empty stomach. She looked to the floor hoping to find any scrap dropped to hold her over at least until morning so she could sleep. With a heavy sigh she would leave her search as nothing was near. She watched as the light in the room dimmed as the candles lighting the room were being put outs. She closed her eyes moving so she laid curled on her side as the fire place and a few wall sconces in the corners barely lit the room for the few staff members to see as they worked. Krimsin would watch for a while before looking to the door wondering how long it will take for morning will come. She would close her eyes and try to sleep for the night almost hoping something good would happen.

The air outside was rather cool, yet with each passing night the weather grew warmer, for it was at the point of mid-spring now. As night settled upon this large town, it would seem all had gone off to their silence of sleep until morning. The soft wind blew about outside, yet not very audible as a wild wind might be, except perhaps to those with ears sharper than those of any average human being. And, it seemed night had also set upon this building among many as well. All would seem hopeless for the young girl by the door, or perhaps to her. The candles and light were all being put down, except for one in a back corner of the building.
There, sat a young man. He was about eighteen, and his features were rather indistinguishable right now, for his face was only slightly lit in the flickering light of the one candle left lit, besides the hearth, that is. He kept his gaze lowered as he was appproached by the last employee, a tall, well-built man who didn't appear to be someone you really wanted to pick a fight with. There were murmerings between the two of them for a little while. At last, the young man seated handed the other a small bag, obviously carrying money. The employee nodded and turned to leave, going to get his own slumber for the night. Now, only the young man and the girl in the cage were left in the lower part of the silent building.
The man sat there a while, seemingly lost in thought. At last his gaze shifted from the long stare it had been giving to the wall. He rose from his seat, pushing the chair back under the table. His features were still not too easily discernable in this dim light, but it could be made out that he was tall with a bulky build. His skin was darkly tanned, with hair being dark brown and longish. He wore black pants and boots, and a black leather jacket with a black shirt, the bottom of it lined in flames. A necklace hung from around his neck, silvery chains glimmering in the dim fire-light. A tear-shaped ember dangled on the end of it, the ember red, and appearing to be a burning stone coated in glass.
He leaned down, giving a gentle blow from his lips, extinguishing the finger of flame that had been burning atop the candle set on the table at where he had previously been sitting. With that, now only the hearth gave dim light to this room, and the young man's features became undiscernable once again, except one thing. His eyes. They shone brightly in the shadows where he now stood. They were brightly golden colored, their edges orange, and those bright eyes of his puppiless. He began walking toward the door. There was no point in him staying her any longer anyway, but as he reached the door, he noticed the crate there. He stopped in his step, looking down at it a moment. He hadn't noticed it before due to being at the back of the building, but now he observed it.
He bent down, resting on the toes of his feet, and his elbows over his knees. He peered into the cage from its level, and was surprised at what it contained. A girl? No... a part-girl. He inwardly smiled slightly to himself. Kind of like me... She looked rather uncomfortable. 'She probably deserves this whatever she did...' he thought to himself. Still, he doubted that she'd be let go anytime soon... and besides, if he did something worth being put in a cage, he was sure he wouldn't like it. Having the knowledge no one else was here but he and she, he didn't need to look around to see if they were being watched. "Hey, uhm, girl, what the heck are you doing in there?" he questioned. He watched her, waiting rather impatiently for her to respond.

Krimsin watched the man as she laid curled on the bottom of the crate. She would watch him trying to sleep but unable to catch any Zs. Her eyes would narrow to focus on him more until he put out the last flame light except that of the fire place. Her eyes would glow orange from the dim light of the fire place. She would sigh before closing her eyes not to bother him as he was getting ready to leave. With ever step he took her ear twitched until turning lightly hearing his voice. She would push her self up so she would look to him face to face a bit more before looking away "My name is not girl." she whispered softly her voice hard to hear as she tried not to attract attention of employees. She would sit up and lean back looking to him still before closing her eyes "If you must know why, they put me in here when they caught me trying to take food." She would speak just as soft her voice still hard to hear. She crossed her arms. She would look away before motioning for him to go away before her stomach growled. If the lights were on he could see her blush from her stomach growling as she was very hungry. She would sigh lightly before closing her eyes trying to get comfortable now.

Orange eyes watched her steadily as she shifted in the crate that contained her, ears listening for any sounds she might make, and at last satisfied when she spoke. He smiled slightly, "Well, if your name isn't girl, then what is it?" he questioned, raising his arm and letting his hand rest atop the crate. Well, she had tried to steal... but, did he not do that all the time? He mentally shrugged, he had never been caught before but twice when he was younger. That had taught him to be more careful... still, it couldn't have been all that bad. This girl didn't seem like the kind that would really be all that much harm, anyway.
He sighed slowly, "This crate can't be too comfortable. And, you're a mess..." he said, pertaining to the fact people had been pouring beverages and such upon her earlier. He looked at the floor, as if in thought, then his gaze rose to fall upon the caged girl once again. "And... I can most certainly guess you have little interest in staying in there any longer..." Of course he was hinting that he'd let her go if she wanted it, but he wouldn't say that, not yet anyway. He waited silently for her replies, glancing around now and then, more so to make sure no one would get up in the middle of the night and decide to come down here. That'd be a pain. He'd mentally shrug and turn his gaze upon the girl once more.

Krimsin watched him before giving a slight smiles "My name is Krimsin. She looked to his hand at it went to the top of the crate. She would look down again closing her eyes. She was truly harmless except for a mild defensive fighting style she picked up on the streets.
She looked up to him when she heard him speak about the comfort of the crate and the fact she was a a mess. She hissed lightly crossing her arms "Your right this crate is not very comforting and the fact I am a mess is not my fault. The Drunkard in the bar find it fun to soak me do with beer and water." she growled lightly as she was not a big fan of wet.
She would close her eyes thinking about a few things before looking back up to him. "I do not wish to stay here but no one around is willing to let me go." she sighed responding to him comment of her having little interest of staying. She would look down to the key lock that held the crate closed as the front out and up with the top.

"I see... Krimsin then," he said, repeating her name moreso to place it to his memory. He listened as she spoke, and when she ended a small smirk formed on his face. "Yea, so I noticed." He rose to his feet once more, crossing his arms across his chest and peering down at her. "Really, no one at all? Everyone in this world is so heartless." He grinned and shrugged, his orange eyes flashing. He let his right arm come forward, and stuck up his index finger. He gazed at it a moment, and then snapped his thumb and finger, a small lick of flame appearing upon his finger. He stared at it a moment, his eyes seeming to flicker with the small flame upon his finger. Soon, he snapped his fingers once more and the flame went out.
He bent down, his hand going to the lock and chain. "Hmm, well I could get you out... but, I dunno. How do I know I could trust you not to go telling everyone, or something like that..." Geez, I'm so nice. She'll follow me around everywhere, like an anoying bug. Well, she doesn't look like she's the kind of girl that would do that. Still... His other hand, which had been holding a rather unknown object, or actually, an object of which he'd been hiding, now came into view. It held a small roll, baked, and looking quite tasty. "I suppose this wouldn't last you all that long," he said, pertaining to the small piece of bread. In truth, Joseph wasn't all that rich himself, but he had his ways of getting what he needed, or wanted.
He knew very well the girl wanted out of that pitiful crate. But he wasn't going to do it with a simple, 'Okay, I'll let you out...' and be done with it. Neh, he wanted to tease her a bit first, yet he wasn't really teasing her all that much, not compared to what he could do if he was really in the mood for it. He let his finger trace the edge of the crate a moment, following it with his eyes and then letting his gaze fall upon the girl once more, awaiting her response.

Krimsin watched him quietly before looking down for a second thinking about something that was bothering her. She would look up to him before shaking her head "Not everyone is heartless, just most of the people around here." She muttered softly looking to the back room the to the stairs. Her ears move quickly around listening for any type of sound that could be suspicious or problematic. Her eyes darted up to his hand as he made a quick flame. She was slightly impressed though she has seen such things in carnivals. Her ear flicked to him as she heard him speak about releasing her. She would move forward a bit getting close to the side of the crate. "If some one released me from this prison why would I tell some one that might put me back?" She watched him thinking he was not very bright though he was intelligent to ask things he didn't know. Her eyes fixed quickly to his hand seeing the roll he pulled out. She swallowed lightly looking to him before sitting back feeling like she was kicked in the stomach thinking * How could i fall for such a trick. He is only here to torment and laugh at me* She crossed her arms lightly leaning back ignoring what he said next. She would turn her back to him her ears going flat one could guess she felt like an idiot and wanted nothing more to do with him as he lost the little trust she gave him.

He no longer glanced around as if expecting someone to come down or in. Anyway, most of the people upstairs were asleep, so they wouldn't be much of a bother, being as they wouldn't be much paying attention to what they were doing, and, if they were a bother, he could deal with it easily, he was sure. He seemingly ignored the first words she spoke in reply, though inwardly grinned. That was true... then she spoke again, moving closer to the side of the crate where he knelt, as if trying to keep her words quiet to keep from anyone else hearing. He shrugged, "Yea, I guess so..." he said, half to her and half to himself. Well, that had been common sense. Who would want to be in the crate anyway, he thought to himself.
His hand moved once more, this time resting on the lock. He sighed slightly, "Well, this isn't much anyway. Whatever..." he stared at the lock a moment, examining it. Once again, flame appeared from his hands, this time enveloping the lock. The flame's heat didn't bother the young man at all, yet it might seem a bit toasty to Krimsin. After a few minutes, there was a sound of metal falling apart and the flames disappeared, the lock falling into the other hand of Joseph, and a small stream of smoke rising upwards, the smell of burnt metal in the air. He grinned in a bit of pride at his just accomplished work, and then his gaze turned to the wires that were the greater part of the crate. He would place his thumb and first finger upon the wire, holding it lightly and letting his fingers become hot, burning the wires. He seemed not to care if the others awoke to a faint smell of smoke below them. He was certain that the smell of smoke wasn't strong enough to disturb anyone.
He rose to his feet once more, stepping back slightly, waiting on her to escape from the small prison that had been holding her in. With one hand folded across his stomach, he held out the roll that was placed lightly in his hand. "Here..." he said, giving it to her. As he would give her the role, his hand would then fold over the other so that his hands both rested folded across his chest. "So, I s'ppose I have nothing left to help you with?" he hoped she'd agree.

Krimsin looked over to him before covering her mouth and nose smelling the smoke and the melting metal. She moved her face in to her hands and then in to her knees. She would sigh as the heat of his fire was uncomfortable. She would turn and look back seeing that he broke the lock and the netting. She would look up to him climbing out stood up stretching a bit. Her 4 foot hight was shown now, she was short! Krimsin would turn and look to him now that she was out of the box She looked up to him taking the roll quickly from his hand bitting in to it. She would look up to him before looking down "Thank you for letting me out." she finished the roll before her tail flicked. "if there is anything i can do for your i would greatly like to repay you." she looked up to him as she was very serious.

A smile came to his face as he stepped back slightly, watching as the carried out the next few events. He kept a calm, laid-back deminor, wondering what exactly she'd do, run off immediately, or stick around a bit. It seemed that question was answered, at least for a moment. He shrugged at her question. He knew that in the morning when everyone else woke up, it wouldn't take long for anyone to figure out she had gotten away. Because of earlier, the keeper of the place would suspect him... it made him almost smirk mentally to himself. There were so many times he had done something, that others either suspected him or knew he was doing, that he'd gotten away with so easily. It was rather amusing.
Still, her question was left hanging in the air, waiting on a response from him. "Doesn't matter to me... the only thing you need right now is food. Frankly, I'm not really going to be the one going around getting it for you, but don't get yourself caught again, at least any time soon." He paused, as if thinking, then continued, "Hmm, something for me, eh?" he smiled slightly, "There's nothing. Just remember to stay out of being caught." With that, he went for the door. He opened it, looking out at the empty street for a moment. Sighing, he walked out, gently closing the door behind him. He stood there another while, simply looking around. 'Been a long time since this place was this quiet,' he thought to himself.

Krimsin would nod to him when he said for her just to keep out of trouble before giving a gentle bow watching him leave the tavern. She would wait a moment before sneaking behind the bar grabbing a few bottles of cider before slipping in to the kitchen grabbing half a loaf of bread ,meat, and some other odd ball things before wrapping in a table cloth. She would slip out the back door before climbing up a water drain to the roof climbing over looking down to him. She would smile and toss a bottle of cider down in to the grass next to the street so it would not break. She would then run and leap to a near by street lamp landing perched on it. She would wait a bit her eyes giving a mysterious glow in the moon light as she would give a quick glimpse back as her only her eyes could be seen. She would jump again landing of the ground and run off quickly and quietly to find a place to hide for the day. She would find a place to hid and old rundown shack that showed no signs of being owned or lived in. She would slowly pop to back door open and creeping in side. All she saw here bare cupboards, a table and a broken chair. This was just the kitchen and it had a thick layer of dust. She walked to the living room seeing only a coffee table and a rocking chair. In the middle of the ceiling was a hole that led to the next floor. She would put the food down she collected before letting her curiosity get the best of her. She would work her way up the stair to the next floor and looked around Just a single room with a sheet less mattress and a stool. She would smiled as this would be the perfect place to hide. It was on the outskirts of town near the forest. She would walk around the house and open all the windows mostly to air out the dusty dark place. She didn't want to do much now as it was day time and people would be to noisy for her own good. She would dust the kitchen table off before grabbing her table cloth of food and putting it on and spreading the table cloth out as she would eat breakfast before any thing else.
